Unit 1 Hello! What's your name?一、教学目标与要求通过本单元教学,使学生初步学会“打招呼(Greetings)时所使用的一些简单用语,并要求学生尽可能在交际场合中使用。
学生要初步掌握英语字母表中A~N的读音(包括升降两种语调)、书写格式(包括大、小写),并准确认读这些字母。
二、教学重点与难点1、打招呼用语(Greetings):1)Good morning! 2)Hello!3)How are you?Fine,thank you ,And you?2、句型:1)What's your name? 2)My name is …3、英语字母A~N。
三、课时安排本单元共4课时,每课1课时。
第一课Lesson One一、教学内容1、字母A~G。
2、句型:初步理解以下句型:1)What's your name?2)My name is …3、日常交际用语:打招呼用语(Greetings):1)Hello!2)Good morning.二、教具录音机;姓名卡片一张(上写教师自己姓名的汉语拼音);字母卡片A~G(含大、小写);划有四线的小黑板(为教字母的书写准备)。
三、课堂教学设计从第一节课起,教师应尽量为学生创造一个听英语、讲英语的小环境:在起始阶段,就使用一些简单的课堂用语;教师还可借助一些手势、表情、演示等,协助学生听懂;所使用的课堂英语,应循序渐进,宁少勿滥;要多次重复,使学生逐渐熟悉起来,不但能理解教师的课堂英语,也熟悉教师的手势、表情、演示等。
1、教师用英语说:Now class begins.然后借助手势让学生起立,用英语向学生问好。
T:Good morning,class!(如果是下午上英语课,可用:Good afternoon,class!)然后用英语说:Sit down,please.并同时做出请学生坐下的手势。
教师向学生解释Good morning(或Good afternoon。
)的意思。
并告诉全班要用相同的语句来应答。
在开始阶段,能够让学生称老师为teacher(见交际用语)。
由此产生以下问答:T:Good morning,class!Ss:Good morning,teacher!T:Good afternoon,class!Ss:Good afternoon,teacher!这样反复训练几次,直到学生练熟为止。
这期间,最好请学生(们)都起立与教师练习,教师也能够反复重复:Stand up. 及Sit down,please.等用语,让学生们做出相对应的动作,直到确信学生已经能听懂为止。
2、教师告诉全班:We're going to learn Lesson One today.(今天我们学习第1课),让学生听懂即可。
(可板书Lesson One)教师拿出事先准备好的写有自己姓名的汉语拼音卡片,指着自己,对学生说:My name is XXX(Name in full).重复几遍后,请学生猜一猜是什么意思。
之后,叫起一位学生提问:What's your name?教师在讲这两句英语时,两个句子中的name均要重读,以给学生更深的印象。
在重复上述问题后,如果学生仍不明白,可反复借助手势,先指自己,再指被叫起来的学生说:T:My name is XXX.What's your name?这样依次再叫几个学生,每次都重复这个步骤,直到确信学生已能听懂这两句,并能模仿教师语调,用汉语拼音回答出自己的姓名。
3、打开书。
先让学生看一下Lesson One中的3张图,教师可对图中人物及对话做些解释,也可请学生描述在图中能看到什么人,这些人在干什么。
放录音,第一遍学生只听不读,从第2遍起跟读,反复几次,并要求学生认真模仿。
4、教师拿出A~G的英语字母卡片,教学生认读字母。
在出示字母卡片时,应按字母表顺序。
并说明英语字母有大、小写之分。
教字母读音时,要求学生认真观察教师口型变化,仔细模仿。
这些字母的录音,可反复播放几次。
先是由学生集体跟读,在学生有一定实践的基础上,叫几行学生依次朗读。
从一开始就要把字母朗读的两种语调教给学生,即升调和降调。
对于在开始阶段学生出现的一些读音上的失误,如果误差不大,可先不予逐一纠正,在班上表扬发音好的同学,鼓励其他学生也积极模仿。
在本课字母中,c、f、g这3个字母的读音,对一部分同学来讲,困难大一些。
教师在教这3个字母的读音时,放慢速度,多做示范;必要时,可走到教室中间或后面,以使坐在后面的同学看得清,听得真,有利于模仿。
5、拿出事先准备好的划有三格的小黑板,并让学生打开抄写本(Copybook)。
(如果学生没有Copybook,可用英语练习本)教师在小黑板上逐一示范A~G这些字母的大、小写格式、笔顺,以及各个字母在三格中所占的位置。
并简要告诉学生英语字母有书写体和印刷体之分,要求学生依照书写体的示范去书写字母。
课上要留出几分钟让学生练习书写,教师四下检查,即时纠正学生在书写英语字母时出现的笔顺、格式处理不当的错误。
6、布置作业1)听录音带,并跟读当堂所学的日常用语:2)抄写A~G(含大、小写)。
并按字母表顺序朗读、背诵这些字母,使用升调和降调。
四、交际用语1、Good morning,class!同学们,早上好!句中class是教师对全班同学的称呼。
类似的表达法还有:boys and girls;everyone等。
例如:Hello,everyone!同学们好!Please repeat after me ,boys and girls.同学们请跟我读。
2.Good morning,teacher!老师,早上好!Good morning. 早安!/早上好!这是西方人在上午见面时打招呼的用语。
一般从早晨到中午均可使用。
其应答用语相同。
例如:A:Good morning!B:Good morning.有时在熟人之间可略作:Morning!注意,在英语中,“王老师”,“李老师”等不可称为:Teacher Wang;Teacher Li.这是因为teacher 一词不能放在人名前作称呼语。
如果是男老师,可称为:MrWang或Mr Li,如果是女老师,可称为:MsWang或Ms Li。
但Goodmorning,teacher(老师,早上好!)这个句子还是能够接受的。
第二课Lesson Two一、教学内容1、字母H~N。
2、句型:能口头使用:1)My name is xxx.2)What's your name?3、日常交际用语:打招呼用语(Greetings):1)Hello! 2)How are you?Fine,thand you.二、教具录音机;教师姓名卡片;字母卡片A~N,划有三格的小黑板。
三、课堂教学设计1、复习第一节课所学过的日常用语。
教师用英语向学生问候,要求学生用英语应答。
T:Good morning!Ss:Good morning!或:T:Good afternnoon!Ss:Good afternoon?教师可叫几个学生与其单独练习小对话。
教师拿出自己的姓名卡片,与一位学生练习下面对话:T:My name is xxx.What's your name?S:xxx.之后再叫几个学生与教师单独练习。
2、由复习引出新内容。
在做上一个步骤中的最后一个练习时,当学生说出他(或她)的姓名之后,教师说:Hello!向学生解释Hello的意思及应答的方法。
在全班学生跟读几遍后,教师可与另外一些学生做如下练习:T:Hello!S:Hello!T:My name is xxx.What's your name?协助这个学生说:S:My name is xxx.全班同学跟读如下两句:My name is xxx ,What's your name?经多次操练后,教师可叫起某一行学生,问第一位:T:My name is xxx,What's your name?S1:My name is xxx.然后,由这个学生与站在他(她)后面的同学把对话继续下去。
S1:My name is xxx. What's your name?S2:My name is xxx.......依次类推。
如果学生独立完成有困难,教师可提供协助。
3、小结:Good morning. Good afternoon. 及Hello! 的用法,借助书上第二张图片,介绍How are you?以及应答。
经操练之后,与某些学生实行单独小对话:T:How are you,xxx?S:Fine ,thank you .学生较熟练之后,可将这两句加到前面的对话中:T:Hello!S:Hello!T:My name is xxx.What's your name?S:My name is xxx.T:How are you,xxx?S:Fine thank you/重复几次。
打开课本,让学生看图。
教师可视情况解释图中情景以及讲话的先后顺序,并解释学生称呼高教师为:Miss Gao.放课文录音。
第一遍听,从第二遍起跟读,读两至三遍。
4、复习字母A~G。
教师出示字母卡片,学生认读。
可先集体练,后个别练。
教师出示卡片的速度由慢到快,并鼓励学生看谁反应又快发音又准确。
5、教字母H~N。
方法同前一课。
这个课字母中,h、l这两个字母的读音对学生可能困难大些。
教师可由字线A过渡支H:至于1,教师反复示范这个含有舌侧音的字母,可向学生提示一下发音要领。
6、拿出小黑板,教学生书写这些字母,步骤同前。
每个字母要反复示范几次。
留出一定时间,让学生书写。
教师要坚持观察,随时纠正出现的错误。
7、布置作业1)练习朗读所学字母,并抄写H~N;2)听录音,练习朗读第2课后中的日常会话。
四、交际用语1、Hello!你好!这是一种非常随便便的打招呼用语。
在一天的任何时间都适用。
其应答用语相同。
也能够使用HI!向对方问候。
2、How are you? 你好吗?这个句用来向对方本人问候,应答用语一般是:Fine, thank ,you, I'm very well. Thank you.例如:A:How are you ?你好吗?B:Fine,thank you .And you? 我很好,谢谢。
你呢?A:I'm fine,too.Thank you. 我也很好,谢谢。
