How Should Parents Treat Their Children?Chen WanyingWhat I learn from “King Lear” is that a parent should treat all his or her children equally and that a person can not enjoy something that has been given away, like power.King Lear always favours his third-born daughter Cordelia, therefore, apparently, the two elder daughters, Goneril and Regan, are unsatisfied with him. During the time that Lear has power, Goneril and Regan are willing to put up with him and even tell lies to satisfy him. It is a wise father to know his own child, but unfortunately Lear is not such a wise father. Then the two elder daughters begin treating him disrespectfully once Lear has lost his power and there is nothing theycan get from him. Hard-hearted though the two daughters are, I won’t speak for Lear’s treating his daughters unequally.Meanwhile,one of the reasons why Lear comes into friction with Goneril and Regan is that the daughters are unwilling to pay for his soldiers. For the two daughters, the soldiers are not only unnecessary but also very expensive to keep. But for King Lear, the meaning of the soldiers lies in that he feels that he still has power. However, he doesn’t have it anymore, and the difference between his imagination and the reality is so cruel that he grows mad.All in all, parents should have equal love for their children. 《李尔王》读后感1《李尔王》约写于1605年，取材于英国民间一个古老的家喻户晓的传说，是莎士比亚四大悲剧之一。
故事讲的是年老昏聩、刚愎自用、目光无识的李尔王把国土分给了虚伪的大女儿吕甘、二女儿贡纳莉，却把诚实率直善良不会取悦父王的小女儿科第丽霞驱逐到国外。
科第丽霞被迫离家出走，与爱她的法兰西国王去了法国。
李尔王自己仅保留国王的尊号和一百名侍从，准备轮流住在两个女儿家中安享晚年。
谁料两个大女儿达到目的后却原形毕露，把老父赶出家门，李尔王饱受颠沛流离之苦。
小女儿得知李尔王的凄惨遭遇，起兵讨伐两个姐姐，不幸失败，最后被俘含恨自刎，李尔王也在悲痛疯癫中死去。
当然，两个坏女儿的下场也是可悲的。
李尔王这个糊涂虚伪的老国王，因为自己的虚荣之心，害了自己更害了那个善良天真的小女儿科第丽霞，在我们看来他遭到这样的后果是活该、是自食其果，话又说回来，人到老年遭受到如此的待遇应该说是他一生中最苦的果子了，更惨的是最善良的女儿又死在了自己的前头。
可是我们有没有想过他是一个平常人，是和我们一样的平常人，如果他在年轻的时候没有听别人的劝言和真话的时候又怎么能够在自己的王位上做到现在，又怎么能够把自己的国家治理得如此呢?可是，由于他平时身居高位，长期生活在一呼百诺的宫廷之中，周围都是争先恐后向他邀功献媚之人，所有的人或事都围绕着他转动，以他的好恶为好恶，以他的是非为是非。
年月深久，他就像一个上了瘾的吸毒者，奉承和献媚成了他生活中必不可少的必需品，每一刻都离不开歌功颂德。

The book review of King LearKing Lear is one of Shakespeare’s famous tragedies .Lear, the aging king of Britain, decides to step down from the throne and he decides to divide his kingdom evenly among his three daughters. Goneril and Regan, Lear’s older daughters, give their father flattering answers and make the old king very cheerful. But Cordelia, Lear’s youngest and favorite daughter says that she has no words to describe how much she loves her father. She says that after she gets married she will give her husband half of her love and another half for her father. Lear is very angry and disowns Cordelia. The king of France who has courted Cordelia was deeply moved by her sincere. He says that he still wants to marry her even without her land. With a pity Cordelia accompanies the French king to France without her father’s blessing.Lear quickly realizes that he made a bad decision. Goneril and Regan swiftly begin to deprive the little authority that Lear still holds. They treat him cold andwithout passions. Regan and her husband, Cornwall, discover him helping Lear and make him blind. They put him out to the wild countryside. Finally Gloucester is brought to the city of Dover by Edgar where Lear has also been brought.In Dover, a French army lands which led by Cordelia in an effort to save her father. Edmund says love to both Regan and Goneril. Goneril’s husband, Albany, is increasingly sympathetic to Lear’s bitter experience. So Goneril and Edmund plan to kill him.The English troops led by Edmund reach Dover and defeat the Cordelia’s French army. Lear and Cordelia are captured. Edgar fights with Edmund and kills him. Goneril poisons Regan because of jealousy and then kills herself when her treachery is known by Albany; Edmund’s betrayal leads Cordelia to execute in prison. Finally Lear died with great sadness of Co rdelia’s passing. Albany, Edgar, and the elderly Kent are left to take care of the country under a cloud of sorrow and regret.In the play, Cordelia loves his father most among three sisters, but she is not good at expressing, so when her father asks how much she loves him. 导读：李尔王读后感（一）
我曾经听过一个和《李尔王》有几分相像的童话，其中的国王也有两个口蜜腹剑的大女儿和一个直率的小女儿。
当小女儿拒绝奉承父亲而被驱逐时，从她脸颊上流下的眼泪变为了晶莹剔透的钻石。
最后国王意识到自己的错，顺着钻石铺成的路找回小女儿，童话有一个圆满的结局。
在《李尔王》中，科迪利娅的眼泪是轻小的水滴。
只有在肯特和读者的眼里它才和钻石一样价值连城，因为那是亲情和真理的象征。
《李尔王》以悲剧结束的原因在我看来有以下两个。
首先，权力实在是非常诱人的东西。
莎士比亚添加了一条情节线索说明这一点：同是葛罗斯特伯爵的儿子，爱德蒙的地位就比爱德加低。
尽管大家都明白私生子不能选择是不是当个合法的孩子，他们还是对私生子抱有偏见。

悲剧就在于李尔依然没有明白：做父亲的没有树立好榜样是不应该的。
作为一部戏剧，客观的描述让读者能从自己的角度理解故事。
《李尔王》的悲情不是让泪水湿润读者的眼睛，而是让思考充斥读者的大脑。
李尔王读后感（二）
从上中学就很喜欢莎士比亚，那时有学他的《威尼斯商人》，为其中精彩的剧情美妙的语言所倾倒，后来又学了《罗密欧与朱丽叶》，生死与共冲破世俗禁锢的爱情让我心生向往，中学时期学习莎翁的这两部剧均为经典让我折服，却又觉得意犹未尽。
那时又因条件有限，时间紧张，没有能再看到莎翁别的剧本，直到大学了才有时间有机会再次与莎翁《李尔王》相遇。
其实《李尔王》讲的是个简单的家庭故事，一个父亲与他的三个女儿的故事。
李尔王是个富有的国王，他有三个女儿，有一天他觉得自己年纪大了，不能再很好地管理国家了，于是他决定把国家分给三个女儿。
他问大女儿：“说说你有多爱我吧！”大女儿说她世界上最爱的人就是父亲，她愿意用所以的金钱与权力来爱父亲，李尔王听了很满意，分给了大女儿一半的土地与兵力。
接着他问二女儿：“你有多爱我呢？”二女儿说她愿意为父亲付出一切，包括自己的生命，所以她最爱的人是父亲。
李尔王也很满意，又分了剩下的一半土地与兵力给了二女儿。
轮到了三女儿了，李尔王问她：“你愿意用什么来爱我呢？”三女儿很诚恳地回答说：“我现在一无所有，所以没法拿什么来爱你父亲，但请相信我是爱你的。
”李尔王很不满意三女儿的回答，认为她是在敷衍，根本不爱自己。
于是决定不再要这个不孝顺的女儿了，当然也不会分给她半点财产。
故事讲到这里或许没什么吸引人的地方，但精彩还在后面，分光了财产的李尔王一无所有，有一天他想去大女儿那里看看，却被大女儿嫌弃厌恶，扫地出门。
他在二女儿那里也是一样待遇，最终是三女儿出现了并愿意奉养李尔王，这里是故事的高潮，当初说怎样爱他的大女儿和二女儿在他没财没势后开始露出丑陋的嘴脸，忘恩负义地将老父亲拒之门外，不善言辞没分到任何财产的小女儿才是最爱父亲的，她愿意用自己现在拥有的东西去爱父亲。
看到这里，我不禁有些动容，李尔王的糊涂，大、二女儿的阴险狡诈，三女儿的真诚孝心形成了对比，这个故事表面看起来是发
生在英国皇室，但实际却在我们身边。
你的身边也有这样类似的故事吧，不孝的子女，凄凉的父母，令人心寒，从我们呱呱坠地开始，父母教我们说话，走路，吃饭，耐心地教会我们成长，父亲付出了多少辛苦，在父母年老体衰该由我们反过来奉养他们的时候，有的人却早已经忘记了父母辛辛苦苦养育了他十几年的恩情。
当乌鸦还知道反哺之情时，我们应该感到惭愧了。
当滴水之恩能换来涌泉相报时，作为父母，他们会十分幸福。
而我们要做到饮水思源，用感恩之心回报培育我们成长的父母，回报帮助过我们的朋友们。
李尔王的故事还让我想到了真诚，人与人的交往中，要擦亮自己的眼睛，有的人说得很好，但转身就把你出卖了，而有的人是真诚对待你，不会对你说甜言蜜语却能在你困难时拉你一把，前一种人不能交，后一种人要好好把握，千万不要像李尔王那样呗甜言蜜语蒙蔽自己的双眼，看不清他人的内心，最后悲惨的还是自己。
路遥知马力，日久见人心只有长期相处，才会辨别真善美假丑恶。
大学生活没有了高中的紧张的学习压力，我们可以在惬意的午后，捧着一壶热茶，品一本好书，用读书充实自己，不负美好的大学青春年华。
