1 福建首场小学托福厦门开考
3月21日，福建首次TOEFL Primary 小学托福测试在厦门佳音台湾街分校开考，本次测试吸引了近百名厦门“小考生”提笔加入。
据了解，TOEFL Primary 小学托福由美国教育考试委员会ETA 于2013年推出，系托福家族的“新成员”专为8至12岁研发的一项基础英语水平测试，以国际通行标准的语言测评标准考查每位学生的英语听力、阅读和口语能力运用，测试学生英语语言能力，旨在衡量低龄学生的英语沟通技能和学习进步情况。
近年来，国家一直提倡学校“减负”，不应该也学生太多的压力，但此TOEFL Primary 小学托福测试并非是给学生增加课业，仅仅是给学生现有的英语水平做测试，还可以作为一种英语能力国际通用认证。
作为中国地区第一场正式考试，这场“小学托福厦门考”正式开启了中国小学托福的时代，用托福一贯的高标准，高严谨，为中国的小学英语树立了新的标准。
