The things we do for love Characters:Molly、Brady、Tony、John. Scene1、2:Molly and brady's house;Scene3:New York Eleventh Avenue.
SCENE1
<When handsome guy Brady fell in love with Molly,he made up his mind to leave the gang.WhenBrady told the others that he would leave the gang,all of his partners felt very sad because Brady is the smartest and strongest of them.Instead of stopping him. they respected his choice,after all,it isn't a wrong thing.>
<One night>Brady:"dear,I will find a job and a year later I will marry you.And at that time we can save some money so that we can buy a better house to live in."
Molly:"Oh.That's so nice.Only if we have a little money can we live happily." Brady:"But,we won't have more money to buy what we like.Our life will become harder."
Molly:"I don't mind.I'll love you as before."
SCENE 2
<Before two weeks, Brady found a job as a plumber.During his work,he worked hard. And three months later,in an afternoon，he went back with a strange parcel.>
Brady said lightly:"Open it, dear."
Molly allowed,shouted happily:"How beautiful the furs is！It must be expensive." ,then she put it around her neck carefully. Brady:"Yeah. I can't stand I buy bargains for you. Oh!It matches you."
<At that time, he found that Molly is looking at him with disappointed eyes. He knew what it means.>
Brady:"I bought it with my salary and my bank saving. I have no nelation with the gang. Just out for a walk, ok?"
SCENE 3
<So,they went for a walk together.As for the poor living in the village of New York,Russian furs is so amazing objects that everyone was talking about them.Policeman Tom was walking down New York Eleventh Avenue.> Tom:"Oh!What's the matter?Why are you so excited?"he said to a passer. Passer:"Brady bought her girlfriend the best Russian furs.I heard he paid one thousand dollars.Oh,It's unbelievable he is so rich.Someone must have lost furs recently."
Tom:"But he has left the gang for a long time.Oh!May be I need to talk with him."
<Then,Tom walk faster and stopped them.>
Tom:"Hi!Could I have you a few minutes?I want to asked you some questions."
Brady looked at him and said:"OK!But you must be quick!"
Tom:"Did you help the old lady Mrs. Susan repair a water pipe?" Brady:”Yeah,and what's the matter?"
Tom:"Her expensive Russian furs was lost.When you just finished the repairing. Oh！What wonderful furs,is it that one?”
Brady:”Tom,I bought it today,the Russian furs being sold at——“
Brady looked at Molly and smiled strongly.
Brady:”You are right.It is Mrs.Susan’s furs.Molly,give it to Tom.”
Molly:”Oh!Brady!Why ?They’ll send you to a jail.Where is my happy life?”And then,she cried.
Suddenly, another policeman John walked near them.)
John:”Can I have a look? I sold furs when I was young.”
Tom:”Sure.”
John looked at the furs carefully and said:”This isn’t Russian furs.And they only cost twenty…”Suddenly Brady gave him a fist.
Brady shouted:”Stop it!”
But John went on:”It is worth only twenty dollars! Not a thousand!”(Everyone felt very surprised, after a minute…)
Brady:”Yeah, I paid twenty dollars for the furs. But I would rather go to a jail than make Molly know its real price. I hate the bargain.”
Molly kissed Brady and said:”Oh! My dear! I don’t mind how much the furs is.
I only want to be with you forever!” John:”Give Brady freedom. Tom! Now Susan has found her furs. It is just under her bed. And young man,I’ll forget your rudeness, but only this time.!”
(At last, Brady and Molly went back home happily.)
