英语七年级下册Unit 7第4课时一、教材内容分析本单元的中心话题是“天气”。
SectionB是SectionA的拓展和延伸。
话题上，拓展了谈论天气的表达法，在技能方面，进一步深化听说技能，加强读写训练。
2a-2c 部分从谈论2a图片中的天气及活动引导到2b明信片的阅读，将本单元的互致问候，谈论天气询问正在进行的活动等单元重点功能以明信片的形式呈现，显得自然贴切，而且具有实用性。
本部分教学重点是描述天气的词汇，现在进行时的用法，明信片的文体特点等，难点是现在进行时的另一用法，即表示一段时间内正在进行的动作或状态。
二、教学目标1.知识目标：2. 能力目标：a.能熟练使用英语谈论天气，能熟练掌握现在进行时的用法。
b.能掌握明信片的写法。
3.情感目标：会使用“天气”这个话题和他人寒暄，利用现在进行时，会使用明信片表达对他人的问候和关心。
三、教学过程Step 1: Preparation （5minutes）1. 通过和几名学生打招呼复习句型How isit going? Great/Pretty good/Not bad/OK.2. 向全班同学询问今天的天气，让学生学以致用。
3. 通过让学生跟唱Flash动画歌曲How is the weather?回忆天气的询问及回答。
4. 通过Guessing Game 深入复习句型：How is the weather？It’sraining/cloudy/snowy/windy/sunny/warm/hot/cool.【设计说明：通过复习天气的询问和回答，为本节课的学习做好充分的准备。
动画歌曲和猜谜游戏调动了学生的学习积极性。
