英语课上的free talkFree talk,是指课前3-5分钟的自由谈话,是学生用英语自由交谈的时间。

教师用好Free talk,可以有效地加强学生英语口语的训练和培养学生综合运用英语的能力。

在这个环节中,教师的角色是引导者,引导着各种语言活动,引导着说话情景,引导着语言的组织,启发学生的思维,然后逐步放手让学生自由地说话。

在实践的过程中,教师可以根据实际灵活巧妙地把Free talk用到英语课堂上来。

个人脱口秀。

教师可以鼓励学生充当值日生的角色,进行Daily Report,报告日期、星期、天气、班内情况等。

如学生在学完school 或my favourite teacher等有关内容后,根据自己的实际在小组里互相交流有关school或my favourite teacher的情况,可以达到复习巩固和运用所学的语言材料的目的。

竞赛加游戏。

教师可以鼓励学生根据所学内容自己设计英语知识竞赛,充分利用Free talk让学生展示自己,活跃课堂气氛,为新授进行热身。

如在学习了Animals at the zoo后,让学生就Animals进行问答竞赛。

例如What animals have long nose and big ears?等。

创编新对话。

这是要求学生根据所学的单词、语法、句型和课文内容编写新的对话;或由教师命题,学生进行编写操练;也可结合学过的知识改写故事或课文,创造性地进行表演。

这一训练可以让学生更好地运用所学的语言来表达自己的思想,发展学生的发散性思维。

教师可以根据教材内容进行适当的拓展。

二、信息沟的创设——让学生充分思维信息沟的创设巧妙不仅有助于提高学生的学习兴趣,也有助于帮助学生加深对语言的理解。

但是有时我们所创设的信息沟会形式单一,纯粹遮遮猜猜,但今天但今天陈老师所创设的信息沟就巧妙得多,有看动画情景猜一猜,利用实物玩shufflegame猜一猜。

让学生小组合作,动静结合,动手动脑。

更引人入胜的是,陈老师利用学生的物品照片及手的照片来让学生猜一猜,是谁的手?然后小组合作,闭眼摸手猜一猜这样的贴近生活怎能不引起孩子们的兴趣呢?因此,观察课堂中学生的表现,我们会发现,几乎每个学生都在动脑,每人都享受到了思维的乐趣。

三、小组合作运用——让每一个学生都参与众所周知,学习语言的目的是为了交流交际。

陈老师的课上有2个学生互动环节特别突出。

那就是Shufflegame和猜猜是谁的手?因为教师合理的分工,正确的引导,学生在课堂上的合作非常成功。

重充分引发了学生的热情度和参与度。

这种生生互动的设计达到了使学生在学习的过程中交流,在交流中学习的目的。

当然,如果小组活动的时间,把握得更好一点的话,后面的大拓展环节应该是可以有时间展示的。

不过在教学过程中,已经可以很明显地看到孩子们学习的痕迹,真实而有所提升,是一节值得我学习的优秀课。

提高小学生的英语听力能力的方法一、用英语组织教学,创设听力环境为了帮助学生更好地学习英语,我们在课堂中要多说英语,让学生多听。

在开始的时候,我们说慢些,可以先用母语说一遍,也可以借助手势(gesture)、动作、图片帮助学生理解。

在课堂上,我们尽量用英语重述(recast)要求学生,尽量多用英语回答学生的问题,尽量用英语与学生讨论他们能够看到的东西或正在做的事情。

学生听得多,就学得越多。

我在课堂教学中就尽量多让学生在充足的“听”的语言量中学习英语,举一个我上英语课的教学实例:5B的Unit3<>的第一教时,学有关疾病的六个单词与句型,在课堂刚开始,我们师生互相问候“Hello,boys and girls. Good morning/afternoon,boys and girls. Who is on duty today? What day is it today? Is everyone here? Who’s absent? Sit down,please. 等等。

有的话可以借助表情、姿势、动作、手势帮助学生听懂,如Who is on duty today? Is everyone here? Who’s absent? 这几句是我们新接触的课堂用语,同时可以引出本节课的内容。

我说的时候语速很慢,反复的说,最后用母语解释了它们的意思。

然后,我把这一单元的课题What’s the matter?写在黑板上,问Boys and girls,think it over. What means in Chinese 并伴有表情和动作来帮学生理解课题的意思。
