一、说教材首先来说说教材，本课时是PEP小学英语四年级上册第五单元A部分的内容，包括let’s learn和let’s play，属于词汇和对话的整合教学。
本单元围绕食物及餐具这类话题进行学习、讨论以及交际训练。
本节课是此单元的第一课时，让学生了解如何表达自己想吃的食物。
二、说学情四年级的学生活泼好动，自制力较差，英语基础知识比较扎实，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣。
这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。
因此，在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况，采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意，努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。
