I'm a primary school student, and I'm so excited to share my English learning experience with you. Ever since I started learning English in Grade 3 using the FLTRP textbooks, it's been an incredible adventure filled with fun, challenges, and lots of new discoveries!Grade 3: The Beginning of My English JourneyWhen I first opened my FLTRP Grade 3 textbook, I was thrilled to see all the colorful pictures, interesting stories, and engaging activities. The lessons were designed to be interactive and enjoyable, which made learning English a breeze. One of my favorite parts was the "Warm-up" section at the beginning of each unit. It helped me get into the right mindset and prepared me for the upcoming lessons. The "Listen and Read" sections were also great because they allowed me to practice my listening and reading skills simultaneously.I particularly enjoyed the "Let's Sing" and "Let's Chant" activities, where we learned catchy songs and chants related to the unit's theme. Not only did they make learning more fun, but they also helped me remember new vocabulary and grammar structures more easily.By the end of Grade 3, I had a solid foundation in English, and I couldn't wait to continue my journey in Grade 4.Grade 4: Building on My English SkillsIn Grade 4, the FLTRP textbook took my English learning to the next level. The lessons became more challenging, but the textbook's engaging approach kept me motivated and interested. One of the things I loved about the Grade 4 textbook was the "Let's Learn" sections. They introduced new grammar points in a clear and straightforward manner, making it easier for me to understand and apply them in my writing and speaking. The "Let's Practise" exercises were also incredibly helpful. They provided me with ample opportunities to reinforce what I had learned and solidify my understanding of the concepts.I also enjoyed the "Let's Role-Play" activities, where we got to act out real-life situations using the vocabulary and expressions we had learned. It was a fun way to practice my speaking skills and build confidence in using English in everyday conversations.By the time I reached the end of Grade 4, I felt a significant improvement in my English proficiency, and I was eager to tackle the challenges of Grade 5.Grade 5 (Volume 1): Expanding My English HorizonsAs I started Grade 5, I was amazed by the depth and variety of topics covered in the FLTRP textbook. It's been an awesome adventure filled with fun, challenges, and lots of new discoveries!Grade 3 was when my English journey officially began. I still remember feeling a little nervous on the first day, but my teacher Ms. Lee made it all better with her warm smile and encouragement. We started with the basics - learning the alphabet, simple words, and short sentences. It was like unlocking a secret code that opened up a whole new world! One of my favorite activities was singing along to English nursery rhymes and songs. We'd do actions and dance aroundthe classroom, making it so much fun to learn new vocabulary. I can still recite "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" from memory! As we progressed, we began reading short stories and having conversations. I loved dressing up and roleplaying different characters. It really helped me understand how to use the language in real-life situations. My parents were so proud when I started greeting them in English at home!In Grade 4, things got a little more challenging, but also more exciting! We dove deeper into grammar rules, learned how to form longer sentences, and expanded our vocabulary with more complex words. I remember feeling a sense of accomplishment every time I could construct a proper sentence or understand a new word's meaning. One highlight was our class project on different countries and cultures. We had to research, write reports, and present in front of our classmates and parents. It was nerve-wracking at first, but the experience boosted my confidence in using English for academic purposes. We also started reading longer stories and articles, which opened my eyes to the rich world of English literature. I'll never forget the adventures of "The Magic Treehouse" series and howit fueled my imagination. Reading became one of my favorite pastimes, and I started dreaming of traveling to all the places I read about.Grade 5 was when things really kicked into high gear! We tackled more advanced grammar concepts like tenses, modal verbs, and phrases. It was challenging at times, but our teacher made it fun with interactive games and group activities. We'd compete to see who could form the most grammatically correct sentences or identify parts of speech the fastest. One of my proudest moments was participating in our school's English drama production. We spent weeks rehearsing and memorizing lines, and the feeling of performing on stage in front of an audience was indescribable. It taught me the importance of clear communication, expression, and teamwork. We also started writing more extensively, from creative stories to persuasive essays. At first, I found it daunting to put my thoughts into words, but with practice and feedback from my teacher and classmates, I gradually improved. It was incredibly satisfying to see my writing skills progress and to be able to express myself more clearly and effectively in English. As we neared the end of Grade 5 Volume 1, I couldn't believe how far I'd come in my English journey. What started as a bunchof unfamiliar symbols had transformed into a language I could read, write, speak, and understand with confidence.Looking back, I'm so grateful for the dedication of my teachers, the support of my parents, and the hard work I put in. English has opened up a world of opportunities for me, from making new friends from different cultures to exploring literature, movies, and media from around the globe. And the best part? This is just the beginning! I can't wait to see what exciting adventures and challenges await me in the next phase of my English learning journey. Who knows, maybe one day I'll become an author, a translator, or even a teacher myself, sharing the gift of language with others. So, to all my fellow English learners out there, keep pushing forward, embrace the challenges, and most importantly, have fun! With dedication and an open mind, you too can unlock the incredible power of language and connect with people from all corners of the world. Happy learning, my friends!篇4My English Learning Journey Through Primary SchoolHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a primary school student who loves learning English. I still remember how nervous and excited I felt on the first day of English class. The textbook looked so colorful and had so many pictures and stories, which made me curious to learn more.At first, it was a bit difficult to understand the new words and phrases, but our English teacher was very patient and kind. We learned more vocabulary related to various topics like school, food, animals, and hobbies. The lessons also introduced us to basic grammar rules, such as verb tenses, adjectives, and prepositions. One of the things I really enjoyed in Grade 4 was the storytelling section in the textbook. We would read short stories and then discuss the characters, plot, and moral of the story. It was a fun way to practice our reading comprehension and speaking skills. We also had a lot of group activities and projects, where we had to work together to create presentations or skits in English. It was a great opportunity to practice our communication skills and build confidence in using the language.By the end of Grade 4, I felt like I had a solid foundation in English, and I was excited to take on the challenges of Grade 5.Grade 5: Expanding HorizonsIn Grade 5, the FRP textbook took us on a journey through different countries and cultures. We learned about famous landmarks, traditions, and customs from around the world. It wasfascinating to discover new things while also improving our English skills. The reading passages and listening exercises in the textbook became more complex, challenging us to understand more advanced vocabulary and sentence structures. We also learned more complex grammar rules, such as reported speech and conditionals. One of the highlights of Grade 5 was the writing section. We practiced writing different types of texts, such as letters, stories, and essays. Our teacher gave us helpful feedback and encouraged us to express our thoughts and ideas creatively.Towards the end of Grade 5, we had a project where we had to research a country of our choice and present it to the class in English. It was a great opportunity to put all our skills to the test – reading, writing, speaking, and listening.Looking Back and Moving ForwardAs I reflect on my journey through the FRP English textbooks from Grade 3 to Grade 5, I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the process! The FRP textbooks are designed to make learning English an engaging and rewarding experience.Thank you, FRP textbooks, for being my trusty companions on this incredible English learning journey. I can't wait to see where the language will take me next!篇5English Class Teaching Plan (3rd Grade - 5th Grade)Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 5th grader who loves learning English. Over the past few years, my teachers have helped me improve my English skills through fun activities and lessons. Let me share with you the English teaching plan we've followed since 3rd grade!3rd GradeIn 3rd grade, everything was new and exciting. We started by learning the English alphabet and how to read and write basic words. My teacher, Ms. Roberts, made it really fun by having us sing the alphabet song and play word games. We also learned simple phrases like "Hello, how are you?" and "Thank you." Practicing conversations with classmates helped us get comfortable speaking English. Towards the end of the year, we began reading and writing simple sentences. One of my favorite activities was when Ms. Roberts brought in picture books and had us try to read them out loud. We also acted out little skits which helped us remember new words and phrases.4th GradeIn 4th grade, we really expanded our vocabulary and grammar knowledge. Our teacher, Mr. Williams, had us keep English journals where we practiced writing paragraphs about our daily lives and interests. We learned lots of new grammar rules like how to use verb tenses correctly and how to ask questions. Things like spelling tests and dictation exercises helped reinforce our writing skills. For reading, we graduated to longer stories and books. Mr. Williams would have us take turns reading sections out loud. Then we'd discuss the plot, characters, and any words we didn't understand. My favorite units were when we learned about different countries and cultures. We'd learn common phrases in another language, try cultural dances, and even taste foreign foods!5th Grade (First Semester)Now in my final year of elementary school, we've continued building a really strong English foundation. Our teacher, Mrs. Taylor, has us doing more advanced reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities. For example, we often have discussions and debates in English about books we've read or topics we've learned about. We also give frequent presentations to practice our public speaking abilities. The writing assignments have gotten longer and more challenging too. We've learned how to write multi-paragraph essays, short stories, poems, and research reports. Mrs. Taylor emphasizes proper grammar, varied vocabulary, and clear organization.Listening has been a major focus as well. We'll listen to audio clips or watch video lessons and then answer comprehension questions. We've also learned techniques for taking notes while listening.Although there's definitely more homework and harder concepts, the lessons are still interactive and engaging. We play games to reinforce grammar rules, use educational websites and apps, and work on fun group projects.Just this semester, we created English newsletters, recorded mock radio shows, and put on short plays entirely in English! It's been an amazing journey getting to this level of English proficiency.篇6My English Learning JourneyHi there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about learning English from 3rd grade up to the first half of 5th grade. It's been quite an adventure so far!Third Grade - Just the BeginningThis was when my English lessons started. I remember being so excited to learn a new language! Our textbook was called "Primary English" and it had really colorful pictures and fun stories. In the first semester, we learned simple greetings like "Hello", "How are you?", numbers 1-20, colors, and basic vocabulary about family members, classroom objects, and pets. The lessons had cute cartoons and we'd sing little songs to help remember everything. The second semester got a bit harder as we learned telling time, months, dates, and describing weather. But we played lots of games like bingo and charades which made it really enjoyable. By the end of the year, I could introduce myself, talk about myfamily, and have basic conversations! It felt like such an accomplishment.Fourth Grade - Leveling UpFourth grade ramped things up for sure! The textbooks had more text and longer dialogues to read. We started learning how to ask and answer questions using "what", "where", "who", etc. Some topics I remember covering were school subjects, daily routines, hobbies, clothes, and describing people's appearance. The grammar got trickier too with verb tenses like simple present and past tense. There were a lot of fun group activities where we'd do role plays at a restaurant, post office, or clothing store. Our teacher also had us do project work like designing a family tree or making a schedule for our dream day.By the end of that year, my reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities had improved a ton. I could understand most of the dialogues in our textbooks quite well. English was becoming easier and easier!Fifth Grade (First Semester) - Let's Get Fluent! In fifth grade so far, we've continued building on everything from the previous years. The textbooks are completely in English now with almost no Chinese instructions. Some topics we've covered include transportation, leisure activities, travel, housing, health and fitness. The grammar has gotten really complex with tenses like present continuous, future tenses, comparatives and superlatives. We do a lot more free speaking practice these days through activities like discussions, debates, presentations and storytelling. My writing has improved hugely through doing compositions on different themes regularly.I can honestly say I feel quite fluent in English now and can communicate about all kinds of everyday topics with confidence. Reading children's books is pretty easy too. Just this semester left before finishing these textbooks!Overall, the FLTRP textbook series has been instrumental in building my English skills year by year. The topics are relevant, the exercises are effective, and the teaching approach is engaging. I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity from such a young age. While it wasn't all smooth sailing and I had to work really hard, English has become like a second language for me now. I'm excited to continue mastering it and maybe pursue more advanced studies. Who knows, I may even become an English teacher someday! For now, I'll just keep enjoying this journey. Thanks for reading!。
