I. Pre-task preparations
1.提问what do we get from trees? 和What do we use wood for? 让学生思考并回答。
2.用多媒体动画展示一棵树的成长过程和树的用途,要求学生围绕Trees are very important. 发表看法,或与同桌交流。
II. While-task procedures
1.学生四人一组,根据Think and say的图片和范例展开讨论,说一说木头的用途。
然后各组派一名代表作口头报告。
2.出示下列图片和单词,让学生选词填空完成句子,然后核对答案。

1.出示题目Trees are our friends 或Trees are important,让学生选择一个题目,试着写一篇短文。
然后让学生朗读自己完成的短文。
S1: Trees are important. We get wood from trees. We can use wood to make pencils, desks, chairs and paper. Trees can keep the air clean. They can cool the air too.
