It is the result of the communicate in culture among the three place.Jianghan plain belong to chuhan area.Chu culture is rich,which have prepared for the development of shadow play.Jianghan plain shadow play of singing with song cavity and YuGu cavity.As for song cavity. Jiming cavity heads from<simianchuge>,it is the“living fossil”for the chinese traditional music.Yugu cavity from the old artist cover begging,has the strong flavor of rural life.With the development of the modern culture and the old artist have die,Jianghan plain shadow has started to die out.The essence of art need the latter to inheritance.Our country attaches importance to the protect of intangible cultural heritage. 中国的皮影在宋代（960-1127）已极为盛行，每逢节日，影戏台 数甚多。到明代，北京一地的皮影班社竟达四五十家。公元十三世 纪，当时的蒙古军营中也演皮影戏，作为一种娱乐，后来还随军把 皮影带到波斯、阿拉伯、土耳其等国。之后，皮影便在东南亚各国 流传。

Both Chinese artists and the Government are making great efforts to conserve and propagate the ancient art form. And now, China has applied to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO) for a certification as an intangible cultural heritage. So as the constructer of china’s future, we are obliged to preserve the precious heritage.
During a shadow play, puppeteers hide themselves behind a white curtain and move stick-mounted(用棒子装裱的) puppets, while also narrating(叙述) the story through folk song. Performances are generally accompanied by musicians playing drums and stringed instruments.
