Light Tracer此角色用light tracing渲染,用skylight 和一个spotlight照明。

Light Tracer对明亮的场景(比如室外)提供真实的软阴影和颜色影响。

不同radiosity的是,Light Tracer不需要按照物理精度建模,所以能更简单的建立场景。

小技巧:室内场景也可以用light tracing,但radiosity往往是更好的选择!预览light tracing的效果:1,为了快速预览light tracing的效果,请降低Rays/Sample 和Filter Size的值,结果将会得到有麻点的效果。

2,另一种方法是确定Adaptive Undersampling是在打开状态,设置Initial Sample Spacing的值等于Subdivide Down To的值。

这样将会给出一个粗糙但是快速的light tracing的效果。

运用Light Tracer的其他技巧:1,为了改善渲染时间,请在Object Properties dialog中将那些对最终效果没有很大影响的物体的light tracing或radiosity solving关闭。

(当然你也能在Advanced Lighting Override material中对那些有重大影响的物体进行设置。

)2,对adaptive undersampling的设置进行试验,因为其对你的场景中的light tracing的区域起约束作用。

3,为了增强颜色的影响,请加大Bounces 和Color Bleed的值,通常来说Color Bleed是一种微妙的效果。

4,如果你的场景中有透明物体(玻璃等),请将Bounces的值设置为大于0。

(但是你要意识到这样会增加渲染时间。

)5,如果你的主光源为天空光,但是你的场景中需要高光,增加第二个光源!:例如,一个和天空光一致的直接光,确定其阴影是打开的,然后在Advanced Effects rollout中关闭其对Diffuse的影响!6,Set Key filters are not taken into account when you animate Light Tracer settings.
