2010年衡阳市初中学业水平考试英语试题分析2010年衡阳市初中学业水平考试英语试题融入了《英语课程标准》的理念，既考查学生对“双基”的掌握情况，又注重考查学生在具体情境中运用英语分析和解决问题的能力，也就是考查学生的语言知识、语言技能、跨文化意识和交际能力。
侧重由知识立意向能力立意转变，力求做到知识和能力的统一，体现了“以能力立意为主，知识立意为辅”的命题原则。
一、试题特点1. 坚持以学生为本，立足基础，注重运用；以新课标为纲，强调能力，彰显素质。
2. 试题设计规范，考查内容覆盖全面，试题难易适中，不出繁、偏、旧试题。
听、说、读、写四项基本技能全面注重，做到思想性、科学性和技术性的统一。
3. 试题贴近学生，关注社会，拓展视野，考查了学生跨文化交际能力。
4. 测试目标明确。
英语学科的考试时间为120分钟；试题满分为120分，听力部分共17小题，占30分，笔试部分共56小题，占90分。
二、试题内容1. 听力理解，注意语境，综合考查。
听力部分的考查设计从听对话理解、听短文再反应，由浅入深地对学生的听力进行了全面考查。
考查了学生理解语境、语义和对语言的反应能力。
【对策】加强英语基础知识的学习和积累，利用一切机会多听英美人士朗读的录音材料，考前尽量多听模拟听力试题，熟悉考试题型及语音、语调、语速。
同时，加强单词、短语记忆和单词拼写训练。
2. 知识运用（1）单项选择，注重基础，突出语境。
单项选择试题，很难见到单纯考查语法知识、语言知识的内容，体现了语言形式和意义的紧密联系，在具体语境中考查英语知识、语法知识。
同时，注重了英语与其他学科的联系。
