In recent years, people are developing an inseparable relationship with Internet. As is known to all, it’s convenient for us to do something such as watching movies, looking through the news and doing our jobs when surfing on line, either to entertain ourselves or to meet the work’s needs.
On the one hand, there is no denying that Internet is currently one of the most useful media in our daily life. Through Internet we can get so many information and know what happened recently in our society. Thus the Internet can enrich our experience and broaden our vision. And as a college student, I can get on line every day to exchange information through e-mails with my friends.
But on the other hand, there also are some problems. A good many people admit that they are too much addicted to Internet to maintain a regular and wholesome lifestyle. For example, as a product of modern computers and Internet, a great many students have enjoyed great pleasure and satisfaction from online games. As we see, some students lacking self-discipline are too much indulged in these games so that their health and academic performances are affected.
Generally speaking, it’s my view that if we play them in a reasonable way and restrain fiery overindulgence, it’s a wonderful entertainment for us. After all, Internet is invented to enrich our life, and improve the efficiency of work. Therefore we should have enough self-control over the Internet, then it’s my believing that we can certainly obtain real pleasure and benefit a lot from the Internet.。
