Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is an honor to stand before you today and share with you my thoughts on a subject that is close to my heart – the power of dreams. As young Americans, we stand at the precipice of a world filled with endless possibilities. It is our time to dream big, work hard, and make a difference in the lives of others.First and foremost, let me tell you that dreams are not just whimsical thoughts that float in our heads. Dreams are the blueprints of our future. They guide us, motivate us, and inspire us to reach for the stars. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr., "If you can dream it, you can do it."As young Americans, we have the advantage of living in one of the most powerful and innovative countries in the world. We have access to education, technology, and opportunities that our ancestors could only dream of. But with great power comes great responsibility. It is up to us to harness our talents, skills, and passions to make a positive impact on society.Let me share with you a few stories of young Americans who have already made a significant difference in the world:1. Malala Yousafzai: At just 17 years old, Malala became a global symbol of hope and courage. After being shot by the Taliban for advocating for girls' education, she continued to fight for the rights of children worldwide. Her dream is simple yet powerful: to ensure that every child has access to education.2. Jack Andraka: At the age of 15, Jack developed a breakthrough cancer detection test that is 168 times faster and 400 times more sensitive than the current method. His dream is to save millions of lives by improving early cancer detection.3. Tyler Armstrong: At the age of 14, Tyler became the youngest person to summit Mount Everest without oxygen. His dream is to inspire others to overcome their own challenges and to give back to those less fortunate. These stories are just a glimpse into the incredible potential that lies within each of us. But how do we turn our dreams into reality? Here are a few key steps to guide you on your journey:1. Believe in Yourself: The first step to achieving your dreams is to believe in yourself. Your self-confidence will be your biggest ally in overcoming obstacles and setbacks. Remember, you are capable of achieving greatness, and your dreams are within reach.2. Set Clear Goals: Once you have a dream, it is essential to break it down into smaller, achievable goals. Set specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals to keep you on track.3. Work Hard: Success is not handed to you on a silver platter. It requires dedication, perseverance, and hard work. Be willing to put in the effort, even when it seems impossible.4. Learn from Failures: Failures are not setbacks; they are stepping stones to success. When you face obstacles, learn from them, adapt, and move forward. Remember that every failure brings you one step closer to achieving your dream.5. Surround Yourself with Support: Find mentors, friends, and family who believe in your dreams and will support you along the way. They will provide guidance, encouragement, and a shoulder to lean on when times get tough.6. Give Back: As you work towards achieving your dreams, never forget to give back to those in need. By helping others, you will not only enrich their lives but also find fulfillment and purpose in your own.In conclusion, the power of dreams is a force that can transform our lives and shape the world around us. As young Americans, we have the potential to be leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Let us not be daunted by the challenges that lie ahead, but instead embrace them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery.As you go forth from this gathering, take a moment to reflect on your dreams. Ask yourself, "What is my dream, and how will I achieve it?"Remember that the journey may be long and arduous, but the rewards will be worth every sacrifice.Together, let us strive to be the best versions of ourselves, to pursue our dreams with unwavering determination, and to leave a lasting legacy of hope, inspiration, and compassion.Thank you for listening, and may your dreams guide you to a futurefilled with endless possibilities.God bless America, and God bless us all.。

1Hello, ladies and gentlemen. It’s great to be here. First of all, thanks for your coming. T onight, what I am gonna talk about is innovation. Who can tell me what is innovation? We all know that, since 1978, China has been through the greatest changes brought by the reform and opening-up. So what we can see from the reform and opening-up? The power of innovation. That’s why I am here. I am here to show you my Chinese dream. I want to talk about the future and how we're going to win it. If we want to make innovation. But firstly, we should make sure that China is a place where we can make it if we try, where we can go as far as hard work and big dreams will take us. We understand that it’s not going to be a cakewalk, this competition for the future, which means all of us are going to have to do our best. We are going to have to win the future by being smarter and working harder and working together. Innovation is the spirit of our country, the motive force for our country’s prosperity.Sparking the imagination and creativity of our people, unleashing new discoveries -- that's what China will do better than any other country on Earth. From the moment we have a new idea, we can explore it; we can develop it with a research grant; we can protect it with a patent; we can market it with a loan to start a new business. We’ve got a chain that takes agreat idea all the way through. We must be confirmed that, today, the challenges we face are real. They are serious they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But we will somehow find a way to overcome the difficulties. My major is XXX. My job is to discover or create new drugs for many diseases like cancer. You know that laboratory is the place where miracles happen. Believe it or not. What I do can save millions of people’s lives. Fo r a long time, what challenges me is how to commercialize research. You come up with a great idea, but moving that new discovery from theory to practice or from the lab to the marketplace, that's re ally a big job. That’s what we should focus on.We need to act with a sense of urgency-to study and work and create as if the fate of the country depends on us-because it does. It depends on us. Thank you! 2Youth is not a time of life,it is a state of mind;it is not rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees,it is a matter of the emotions:it is the freshness;it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease.this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20.Nobody grows old merely by a number of years.we grow old by deserting our ideals.Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.Worry,fear,self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.Whether 60 of 16,there is in every human beings heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living .In the center of your heart andmy heart there's a wireless station:so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite,so long as you are young. When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20,but as long as your aerials are up,to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.Thank you! 3As you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshnein the air.Yes, yes, yes, it#39;s a new day, it#39;s a different day, and it#39;s a bright day! And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! In your mind#39;s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the paces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire to reach. You can hear your laughters of joy and happineon the day when everything happens as you dream. You can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. You can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being! You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed! And you are confident, youare passionate, you are committed! You will no longer fear ma-ki-ng new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions. You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships. You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all,you are the best, and you deserve the best!As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear. I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed! 4Winston Churchill presented his Sinews of Peace, (the Iron Curtain Speech), at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri on March 5, 1946 .President McCluer, ladies and gentlemen, and last, but certainly not least, the President of the United States of America:I am very glad indeed to come to Westminster College this afternoon, and I am complimented that you should give me a degree from an institution whose reputation has been so solidly established. The name "Westminster" somehow or other seemsfamiliar to me. I feel as if I have heard of it before. Indeed now that I come to think of it, it was at Westminster that I received a very large part of my education in politics, dialectic, rhetoric, and one or two other things. In fact we have both been educated at the same, or similar, or, at any rate, kindred establishments. It is also an honor, ladies and gentlemen, perhaps almost unique, for a private visitor to be introduced to an academic audience by the President of the United States. Amid his heavy burdens, duties, and responsibilities--unsought but not recoiled from--the President has traveled a thousand miles to dignify and magnify our meeting here to-day and to give me an opportunity of addressing this kindred nation, as well as my own countrymen acrothe ocean, and perhaps some other countries too.The President has told you that it is his wish, as I am sure it is yours, that I should have full liberty to give my true and faithful counsel in these anxious and baffling times. I shall certainly avail myself of this freedom, and feel the more right to do so because any private ambitions I may have cherished in my younger days have been satisfied beyond my wildest dreams. Let me however make it clear that I have no official mission or status of any kind, and that I speak only for myself. There is nothing here but what you see.I can therefore allow my mind, with the experience of a lifetime, to play over the problems which beset us on the morrow of our absolute victory in arms, and to try to make sure with what strength I have that what has gained with so much sacrifice and suffering shall be preserved for the future glory and safety of mankind. 5Ladies and gentlemen, the United States stands at this timeat the pinnacle of world power. It is a solemn moment for the American Democracy. For with primacy in power is also joined an awe-inspiring accountability to the future. If you look around you, you must feel not only the sense of duty done but also you must feel anxiety lest you fall below the level of achievement. Opportunity is here and now, clear and shining for both our countries. To reject it or ignore it or fritter it away will bring upon us all the long reproaches of the after-time. It is necessary that the constancy of mind, persistency of purpose, and the grand simplicity of decision shall rule and guide the conduct of the English-speaking peoples in peace as they did in war. We must, and I believe we shall, prove ourselves equal to this severe requirement. 6someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. i dont know who wrote these words, but ive always liked them as areminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.we are young. “how to spend the youth” it is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth” youth i s not a time of life, its a state of mind. its not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. its the matter of the will. its the freshness of the deep spring of life. a poet said “to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago, i had a chance to listento a lecture. i learnt a lot there. id like to share it with all of you. lets show our right palms. we can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. i have a short line of life. what about yoursi wondered whether we could see our future in this way. well, lets make a fist. where is our futurewhere is our love, career, and lifetell me.yeah, it is in our hands. it is held in ourselves.we all want the future to be better than the past. but the future can go better itself. dont cry because it is over, smile because it happened. from the past, weve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. weve learnt that we cant choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. failure doesnt mean you dont have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. failure doesnt mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.as what i said at the beginning, “we are reading the firs t verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. the past has gone. nothing we do will change it. but the future is in front of us. believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. and from today on, lets be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “we are the world, we are the future.”。

励志英语演讲稿范文带翻译励志英语演讲稿范文带翻译(精选篇1)Leo Tolstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world! So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence not only you, but those around you too, especially our children …and perhaps more importantly…our planet!

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. It is my great honor to stand before you today and address the young and aspiring minds of this wonderful gathering. Today, I want to talk to you about the power of dreams, the importance of perseverance, and the endless possibilitiesthat lie ahead for each and every one of you.As children, you are like sponges, absorbing knowledge, experiences, and the world around you at an incredible rate. This is the time when your imagination knows no bounds, and your dreams are as vast as the universe itself. But let me remind you, my dear friends, that dreams are not just wishful thinking; they are the blueprints of your future.Firstly, let me talk about dreams. Dreams are the fire that fuels our passion, the light that guides our path, and the compass that points us in the right direction. Without dreams, life would be like a shipwithout a rudder, adrift in the vast ocean of existence. So, I urge you to dream big, dream wild, and dream without limits. Whether your dreamis to become an astronaut, a doctor, an artist, or even a president, remember that dreams are the seeds from which great achievements grow. However, having dreams is not enough. You must also have the courage to pursue them. Life will throw curveballs at you, and sometimes it may seem like you are walking through a storm. But remember, every storm passes, and the sun always shines again. When faced with adversity, do not be afraid to stand up, to dust yourself off, and to keep moving forward. Perseverance is the key that unlocks the door to success. In the words of the great Chinese philosopher Confucius, "It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." Each one of youhas the power within to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. You may not always succeed on your first attempt, but that does not mean you should give up. Instead, learn from your failures, adapt, and try again. Remember, it is not the destination that matters, but the journey itself. Now, let's talk about the importance of hard work. Success is not a gift; it is earned through sweat, tears, and endless effort. There is no shortcut to success, and there is no substitute for hard work. You may have heard the saying, "Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration." This is true. Talent is overrated; it is the dedication and discipline that truly set you apart. But hard work alone is not enough. You must also believe in yourself. Self-confidence is the fuel that propels you towards your goals. When you believe in yourself, you become unstoppable. You will face moments of doubt and uncertainty, but remember that these moments are simply opportunities to prove to yourself that you are capable of more than you think. In addition to believing in yourself, you must also be open to learning from others. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, who challenge you, and who support you. Be willing to listen to different perspectives, and be open to new ideas. The world is full of brilliant minds, and by collaborating with others, you can achieve greatness that you never thought possible.Lastly, let me remind you of the importance of kindness. As you grow up, you will encounter people who may be mean, cruel, or indifferent. But always remember to be kind. Kindness is a powerful force that can change the world. It can lift someone's spirits, it can heal a broken heart, and it can bring hope to those who have none. Be the change you wish to see in the world, and spread love and positivity wherever you go.In conclusion, my dear friends, you are the future leaders, innovators, and creators of this world. You have the power to shape your destiny, to achieve greatness, and to make a difference. Remember these words:1. Dream big.2. Persevere through challenges.3. Work hard.4. Believe in yourself.5. Learn from others.6. Be kind.As you embark on this incredible journey of life, never lose sight of your dreams and never stop believing in your potential. The world is waiting for you to shine, to make a mark, and to leave an indelible footprint on history.Thank you, and may you all achieve your dreams and become the remarkable individuals that you are destined to be.God bless you all.。

I think we all need a pep talk.

The world needs you. Stop being boring. Yeah, you. Boring is easy. Everybody can be boring, whether you’re good or not.

Life is not a game, people! Life isn’t a cereal either. Well, it is a cereal. And if life is a game, aren’t we all on the same team? I mean, really right? I’m on your team. Be on my team. This is life, people! You’ve got air coming through your nose. You’ve got a heartbeat! That means it’s time to do something! A poem: “Two roads diverged in the woods…and I took the road less traveled…AND IT HURT, MAN!”Really bad! Rocks! Thorns! And Glass! My pants broke! Waahh! Not cool, Robert Frost! But what if there really were two paths? I wanna be in the one that leads to awesome.

这可不酷,Robert Frost(本诗作者)!

It’s like that dude Journey said, “Don’t stop believing, unless your dream is stupid.”Then you should get a better dream. I think that’s how it goes. Get a better dream, then keep going. Keep going, keep going and keep going. What if Michael Jordan had quit? Well, he did quit. But he retired. Yeah, that’s it. He retired. But before that, in high school, what if he quit when he didn’t make the team? He would have never made Space Jam, and I love Space Jam. What will be your Space Jam? What will you create when you make the world awesome? Nothing if you keep sitting there! That’s why I’m talking to you today.

This is your time! This is my time! It’s our time! We can make everyday better for each other. If we’re all on the same team, let’s start acting like it. We’ve got
work to do. We can cry about it, or we can dance about it. We were made to be awesome. Let’s get out there. I don’t know everything. I’m just a kid, but I do know this: it’s everybody’s duty to give the world a reason to dance. So get to it!

You’ve just been pep talked! Create something that will make the world awesome. Play ball!

Oh, hi everybody! We’re all working hard to make this an awesome year for other people, and you guys are doing it! You’ve been super encouraging to me, so I wanna return the favor. Who do you know that needs some encouragement? Pass this pep talk along, and let’s get the whole world to dance. I’m dedicating this video today to my friend Gabbi. She’s a cool kid, she likes pancakes and she’s fighting cancer, like a boss! And to all you watching, who encourages you? Send them this video and let them know. So get to it!
