二、教学目标1. 学生能够听懂、会说、会读本课的生词和句子，能够运用所学知识进行简单的交流。
2. 学生能够通过观察图片和听读课文，理解故事情节，培养学生的阅读理解能力。
3. 学生能够运用所学知识描述动物的特点，提高学生的语言表达能力。
三、教学难点与重点重点：单词和句子的学习，能够听懂、会说、会读。
难点：动物特点的描述，能够运用所学知识进行交流。
四、教具与学具准备教具：教材、多媒体课件、动物园图片、动物卡片、录音机、磁带。
学具：课本、练习本、铅笔、橡皮。
五、教学过程1. 情景引入（5分钟）教师出示动物园的图片，引导学生谈论动物园。
教师提问：“Do you like animals? What animals do you know?”学生回答后，教师出示本课的生词卡片，引导学生学习和复习生词。
2. 课堂学习（15分钟）（1）教师引导学生跟读课文，让学生熟悉课文内容。
（2）教师提问：“What's this? What's that?”学生回答：“It's a/an”引导学生用所学句型描述动物。
（3）教师提问：“How many animals are there in the story?”学生回答后，教师引导学生数一数课文中出现的动物数量。
（4）教师出示动物卡片，引导学生用英语说出动物的名字，并说出动物的特点。
3. 课堂练习（10分钟）学生分成小组，每组选一张动物卡片，用英语描述动物的特点，其他小组成员猜猜是哪种动物。
