Turn off power switch on your computer. You should always turn off the computer before connecting or disconnecting a device.2. Connect (A) USB or Serial cable to the available port on your computer and plug the other end into the back of display.3. Connect either the (B) Displayport or (C) HDMI or (D) DVI or (E) VGA cable to the video connector on the display. Connect the other end to the video card in your computer.4. Connect the power cord to the (F) power connector on the display. Connect the other end of the power cord to an appropriate grounded power source.(A) (B) (C) (D) (E) (F)USBDisplayportHDMIDVIVGAPower ConnectorMounting the 3M Touch DisplayNote: Always use the mounting holes when attaching the brackets or arm mount. Do not drill additional holes in the unit.VESA Mounting OptionEach display has a VESA mounting pattern on the back to allow for arm mount capability.Note: To avoid the risk of potential damage to display electronics:• Always use the proper VESA sized mounting holes when using an arm attachment. (See table for correct VESA size.) Do not drill additional holes inthe unit to mount plates at other locations.• Do not use screws that are longer than specified in the table, they could potentially damage electronics inside the display. • If you choose to use a VESA mount or UL listed wall mount bracket, ensure adequate weight load capability. • Follow the manufacturer's instructions included with the mounting device to properly attach your display.Bracket Mounting Option (Chassis Models Only)The 3M Touch Chassis Display may come with a hardware accessory kit for mounting the unit into an enclosure. This kit includes screws and mounting brackets.Mounting holes are located on 4 sides of the display.•Always use the supplied screws.•Brackets can be attached to the edges of the chassis.Testing the 3M™ Touch DisplayNote: The 3M Touch Display has a power status light and video controls.Before testing your touch display, make sure all cables are connected properly. Be sure to tighten all cable screws. After connection, turn on the power switch located on the display.To test that the display is working properly:1.Turn on your computer.2.Make sure the video image is displayed. If it is not, check the LED to ensure that the display is not in power save mode (amber).3.Make sure the video image is centered within the screen area. Use the display controls to adjust the image, if necessary. You can adjust thehorizontal and vertical position, contrast, and brightness to better suit your video card and your personal preference.For detailed information on display functionality, operations, or controller communications, refer to the User Guide located on/TouchUserGuides.Installing the Touch SoftwareA 3M MicroTouch™ MT 7 Software Driver may be required to operate your display. See the table below to determine if this is required based on your product and operating system. Refer to the MicroTouch MT7 Software User Guide for complete instructions. These drivers and relevant technical documentation can be found on the enclosed 3M Touch Solutions CD (31197) and are also available for download from our website at/touch. DescriptionLORD Chemlok ® 253H adhesive is a high solids, one-coat adhesive designed to bond compounds based on natural rubber (NR), polyisoprene (IR), styrene-butadiene (SBR), polybutadiene (BR), polychloroprene (CR),nitrile (NBR), butyl (IIR) and EPDM polymers to metals. These metals include carbon and alloy steels, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, zinc, copper and copper alloys. It is composed of a mixture of polymers, organic compounds and mineral fi llers dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent system.Features and Benefi tsConvenient – requires only a single coat for most appli-cations, reducing labor, solvent usage, inventory and shipping costs.Non-Chlorinated Solvent System – suitable for solvent incineration, saving cost of recovery equipment.Environmentally Resistant – provides superior resis-tance to heat, oils and salt spray.ApplicationSurface Preparation – Thoroughly clean metal surfaces prior to adhesive application. Chemlok 253H adhesive is best suited for dip application.When using Chemlok 253H adhesive as a one-coatadhesive, the dry fi lm thickness should be maintained at17.8-27.9 micron (0.7-1.1 mil), particularly if the bonded assembly is likely to be exposed to severe environments. Maintain atomization pressures at 0.345-0.379 MPa (50-55 psi).• D ippingUse full strength. As a one-coat adhesive, a single dipapplication of Chemlok 253H adhesive usually resultsin a dry fi lm thickness of approximately 25.4 micron(1.0 mil).• Brushing Apply full strength.Curing – Chemlok 253H adhesive can be used incompression, transfer and injection molding procedures.Ideal bonding conditions involve a minimum amount of time between loading the adhesive coated parts andelastomer vulcanization. However, Chemlok 253H adhe-sive will resist moderate prebake times without affectingbond performance.Cleanup – Use solvents such as xylene and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) to remove adhesive before heat is applied.Shelf Life/StorageShelf life is six months from date of shipment when stored in a well ventilated area at 21-27°C (70-80°F) in original, unopened container. 11.3 Gbps, Active Back-Termination, Differential Laser Diode Driver ADN2531
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ADN2531 laser diode driver can work with directly modulated laser diodes, including vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL), Fabry-Perot (FP) lasers, and distributed feedback (DFB) lasers, with a differential loading resistance ranging from 5 Ω to 140 Ω. The active back-termination in the ADN2531 absorbs signal reflections from the laser diode side of the output transmission lines, enabling excellent optical eye quality even when the TOSA end of the output transmission lines is significantly mismatched. The ADN2531 is a SFP+ MSA-compliant device, and its small package and enhanced ESD protection provides the optimum solution for compact modules in which laser diodes are packaged in low pin-count optical subassemblies. The modulation and bias currents are programmable via the MSET and BSET control pins. By driving these pins with control voltages, the user has the flexibility to implement various average optical power and extinction ratio control schemes, including a closed-loop or a look-up table control. The automatic laser shutdown (ALS) feature allows turning the bias on and off while simultaneously modulating currents by driving the ALS pin with a low voltage transistor-to-transistor logic (LVTTL) source. The product is available in a space-saving, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP package and operates from −40°C to +100°C.
