小议Chant和English song在课堂中的作用(一) 小议Chant在课堂中的作用Chant在词典中是有节拍而重复说出的话，或是有接奏的吟咏。
在初学英语的儿童中，在课堂中使用，既可以增强学生学习语言的兴趣，又能帮助学生更好的学习、记忆语言。
Chant一般运用于单词的复习、新授、掌握中。
1、用于Warming up 中，既可以活跃课堂气氛，又复习了旧知识。
我们一般采用上一节课或以前学过的Chant ，这样可以把知识前后联系在一起，以旧引新，降低知识难度。
有节奏的吟唱，学生有节拍的拍手以及活跃的场面会让学生情不自禁的加入到学习中来。
2.新词学习，巩固练习使用，可以增强学生对单词的记忆能力，帮助学生掌握单词。
单词学完以后必须有一个复习、巩固的阶段。
此时用Chant 复习，效果会更明显。
例如：“Learning English ”（Student Book4 Unit4 Lesson31）学习颜色的单词，用图片加单词的形式能更好的帮助学生记忆。
3、新句型教学中的Chant 。
让学生在反复的诵读中熟练掌握、运用，达到事半功倍的效果。
例如：“Learning English”（Student Book6 Unit4 lesson31）新句型“What did you do？”学生可边看图，边诵读记忆。
4、课堂总结，再用Chant ，可以重难点再现，引出一个新的高潮。
即将结束新课时采用，复习本节课知识重点，活跃课堂氛围。
缓解学生的紧张状态，保证下一节课以饱满的精神状态投入到学习中去。
然后，学生大胆的去说、去做、去唱。
例如：“Learning English”（Student Book3 Unit3 Lesson22）这一节课的Chant 可以用于课后并配加身势语，缓解学生紧张状态。
（二）English song 在课堂教学中的作用小学生最熟悉的是一些汉语歌曲、童谣，英文歌曲是一种新事物，小学生具有很强的好奇心，所以对英文曲很感兴趣。
