沐浴着清晨第一缕阳光，我早早地来到了赛场，只见小选手们个个都身着节日的盛装，有的在默背演讲稿，有的在调整情绪，还有的在为演讲稿添加丰富多彩的动作。我也不甘示弱，坐在座位上认真的回顾着英语比赛各环节的注意事项。不一会儿，组委会组织大家抽签了，我幸运地抽到了一个吉祥号码“31”。于是，我一蹦三尺高为自己加油。比赛在持续，我进入了候场区。看着台上选手自信激昂的表现，我心里越来越紧张，“怦怦怦”的心跳声随之加快，好像怀中揣了一只小兔子，越跑越近。
我想起了一月前，英语老师精心为我准备了希望之星演讲搞，可面对精彩的稿子，好几个高难度单词我都无法用拼读法正确拼读。妈妈则一直在身边耐心教我语音、语调及单词意思。我很快就学会了。接下来的任务就是准备、流利地将它背下来。这可是个艰辛、枯燥的过程啊！虽然只有短短的90秒，可每一声“滴答”就伴随着一串又一串单词从我嘴里吐出来，而且不能卡带，要语音正确，动作到位，面带笑容……真难呀！这让我想起了一句话：“台上三分钟，台下十年功”。
突然，舞台上传来了一个让我激动的声音：“请31号选手上台”。我轻轻地吸

了一口气,甩甩头，放下了一切杂念，从容自信地走上舞台，大声地开始了演讲：“Goodmorning…”。突然我的目光与评委一接触，发现他们都死死地盯着我看，心中不由得更加紧张起来，心中的小兔子几次都快跳出胸口了。可随着我流利的演讲，到位的动作及出色的表现，评委们变得和蔼可亲了，渐渐地我也不再那么紧张。最终我把英语演讲一次次推向高潮，赢得了满堂喝彩声。
