一、【教学目标】
在本节课结束时，学生将能够：了解常见的地名；掌握方位介词的使用；学会询问和表达建筑物的位置，并介绍自己理想的居住环境。
（一）知识与能力
1．学习并掌握不同地点的表达方式如restaurant, hotel, hospital等。
2．学会使用there be…,where…?句型询问和使用方位介词描述
筑物的具体位置。
3．初步运用问路和指路的用语进行交际。
（二）过程与方法
采用任务型教学方法进行自主学习、小组合作探究和
Role—playing 的学习策略，利用教学图片、幻灯片等来展开课堂教学。Pair work 问答式的口语交际活动互相询问同伴某个建筑物的存在和具体方位；
本单元的教学法建议：语音教学──让学生能在朗读或对话中正确使用连读；词汇教学──采取头脑风暴、图片、游戏环节进行教学，让学生在情境中操练、理解含义，并学会运用；口语教学──采取pair
work问答式的口语交际活动和小组活动互相操练；听力教学──采取互相匹配，根据听到内容的先后排序，听后回答问题等方式；写作教学──以填词、回答问题、写简单的短文为主；语法教学──总结规律、抓住特征、模仿操练。
（三）情感态度与价值观
通过小组交流和教师引导激发学生学习英语的兴趣，而且在活动中教会大家要互相尊重，互相理解并积极表达自己的观点，通过团队成员的合作达成共识。让学生多注意自己的居住环境，培养学生热爱生活、关注环境变化、珍惜美好生活的情感。
二、【教学重难点】
（一）教学重点
1．学习并掌握不同地点的表达方式。
2．学会使用there be…,where…?句型询问和使用方位介词描述建筑物的具体位置。
3．初步运用问路和指路的用语进行交际。
4．训练在听力过程中抓住关键词的技能。

2．there be句型陈述句、否定句、一般疑问句正确理解及应用。
三、【教学策略】
语音教学──让学生能在朗读或对话中正确使用连读；词汇教学──采取头脑风暴、图片、对话环节进行教学，让学生在情境中操练、理解含义，并学会运用；口语教学──采取pair work问答式的口语交际活动和小组活动互相操练；听力教学──采取抓听关键词，听力填空等方式；写作教学──以语言输出，写简单的短文为主；语法教学──总结规律、抓住特征、模仿操练。
四、【教学过程】
Step 1：Lead-in
首先通过观看视频导入，并引导学生回答问题：
How many prepositions can you see in the video?
学生总结：in , on , under, in front of, behind, across from, between
【设计意图】
通过向学生展示动画视频引入新课，激发学生的学习兴趣，降低新知识的难度，并通过对目标语言的学习和运用最终达到教学目的。
Activity1：利用图片观察并询问Where is the ball?, 学习方位介词。
【设计意图】
通过呈现一个球与一个盒子之间不同位置关系的图片，谈论物品所在位置，引出本课重点方位介词的表达方式。
Step 2：Before –listening
Activity1：利用图片和brainstorming回忆学过的表示地点的英文词汇表达。Library, supermarket, park, bridge等。
【设计意图】
学习常见的地点名词的表达，图片形象直观。头脑风暴可以激活学生已有的知识储备，为下面更好的运用语言做准备。
Activity 2：Look and say
【设计意图】通过英语描述一些地点的特征以及相应的图片，逐步呈现地点名词，post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank,
hospital, street, pay phone, park等。
Activity 3：Hide and seek
在熟悉1a图片中的地点设计我的朋友bob 的出现，学生抢答Bob的位置，从而练习there be 句型结构。
【设计意图】通过1a中把英语单词和图片中的地点相匹配的活动，再加上抢答的活动既检验了学生对词汇的掌握程度，增加了学生学习的兴趣，又一次复现了重点描述地点的词汇，加深了印象。
Step 3：While--listening
Activity1：通过听力对话的形式再现了表达地点的名词，呈现了谈论建筑物所在位置的句型，让学生初步感知目标语言。
【设计意图】
训练学生抓住关键信息，练习在听力过程中寻找关键词，引导学生在听的过程中快速获取关键信息。
Activity2：通过同伴间互相训练，进一步熟悉和掌握表达询问建筑物存在与否的句型。

【设计意图】进一步运用方位介词，并巩固了地点名词的表达。

Activity 4：听2b对话并根据对话内容填空。
【设计意图】
通过听力对话对询问和回答物体所在位置的训练，进一步巩固了重点词汇和句型。
Step4：After-listening
Activity1：教师自己设计学校地图 ，利用目标语言，对地图中的建筑物的具体位置进行询问和回答。

Activity 3：完成报告，并找一名学生板书自己的报告，选出一名组长作汇报。
【设计意图】
创设真实语言环境，运用所学目标语谈论喜好和表述原因，学生实践所学语言在真实语境中的使用。

学生在教师引导下回忆总结本节课的内容。

培养学生自主学习和 总结的能力，对本节课的知识进行梳理。
