As a good friend of his, I must do something to help him.Firstly, I think it’s very important for him to learn lessons well. He should spend most of his time on his study instead of computer games. Secondly, I must tell him that playing computer games too much is bad for his health, especially for his eyes. So he must give it up. I can play more sports with him after school. Maybe he will become more interested in sports than computer games. And then I'll ask him to concentrate more on his study. Of course, I will try my best to help him with all his subjects. 2018年广州英语中考作文范文
2018年广州英语中考作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationWow, what a summer! I had so much fun these last few months. My parents always try to make our summer breaks super exciting and filled with cool activities. This year didn't disappoint at all!It started in early July when we went on a fantastic trip to Beijing. I was really looking forward to seeing all the famous historical sites I had learned about in school. The first stop was the Forbidden City. That giant palace complex was justmind-blowing! I couldn't believe how immense it was, with its tall red walls, golden roofs, and over 9,000 rooms. Our tour guide told us it used to be home to 24 different emperors over the centuries. Can you imagine living in a place that huge? It would take me about a year just to explore every nook and cranny! My favorite part was getting to walk along a section of the Great Wall. It's hard to grasp how long and massive this ancient structure is until you're actually there. The views werespectacular looking out over the mountains and valleys. Our guide mentioned that the wall stretches an unbelievable 13,000 miles across China! That's basically like going halfway around the entire planet. No wonder it's considered one of the greatestengineering feats in human history. I felt so small but also amazed by what our ancestors could build by hand so long ago. After Beijing, we traveled to the city of Xi'an to visit the Terracotta Warriors. I had seen pictures before, but actually being surrounded by thousands of those lifelike soldier statues was mind-blowing. Each one is totally unique with different facial features and expressions. They were created over 2,200 years ago to guard an emperor's mausoleum! The craftsmanship is incredible. Our guide explained that the sculptures were buried underground for centuries until farmers rediscovered them in 1974. Can you imagine their surprise at stumbling across that massive underground army? I'd freak out too!My brain was overloaded fromall the cool history and sights in Beijing and Xi'an. Butthe best part was still to come - a week at the amazing Beijing Water Cube Waterpark! This place is built around the iconic blob-shaped aquatics venue from the 2008 Olympics. It's been turned into the most awesome waterpark I'veever seen, with crazy twisting slides, supersonic tunnels, a manmade beach, and the hugest wave pool. We went there almost every day to do cannonballs, ride the lazy river, and race downthe tornado slides. My throat was raw from screaming so much!I also had a blast visiting with my cousins who live in Guangzhou. They took me to some of their favorite hangouts like 嘉- an indoor playground with huge foam pits, arcade games, and a massive climbing structure. We had competitions to see who could jump the farthest into the foam balls. My cousins always win at that since they're older, but I came pretty close! We also spent afternoons at the skating rink in their community practicing tricks and showing off our moves. I can shred on my board way better than them though! My parents signed me up for a super fascinating robotics and coding camp during the last two weeks too. We learned how to build and program cool little mechano-bots to do all sorts of tasks. I made mine fetch me snacks from the kitchen! Just kidding...but I did program it to dance and follow voice commands. On the last day we had an epic robot battle tournament. It was awesome crashing our bots into each otherand trying to be the last one moving. I can't wait to go back again next summer. In between all those great activities, I still had plenty of time to just chill at home with my friends. We had sleepovers, played video games, gorged ourselves on junk food, and stayed up way too late. A few times we rode our bikes down to the community pool and had cannonball contests to see who could make the biggest splash. My athletic buddies and I also visited the basketball courts almost every day to work on our ball handling skills and shcot some sick three-pointers.Evenings were the best though. We'd hang out on the rooftop terrace of my buddy Eric's apartment building. We could see the whole city skyline light up in the dusk as the night markets came alive. The air smelled like sizzling streetside BBQ and exotic spices. Some nights we'd play card games and video games up there. Other times we'd just lie around under the stars, laughing and coming up with the most ridiculous jokes imaginable. Summer nights are magical when you're a kid without a single care in the world. Before I knew it, my amazing summer break was over. Part of me wishes it could last forever without any school or responsibilities. But I also missed my classmates and lookedforward to starting a new grade. Fifth grade is going to be epic! I can't wait to tell all my friends about the incredible adventures I had these last couple months.Summer may be over, but the memories will stick with me forever. I'm so grateful to my parents for giving me such an action-packed, fun-filled break. It's experiences like these that make childhood so special and carefree. I just hope next summer can somehow be even half as awesome!篇2My Day at the ZooToday was the best day ever! My class went on a field trip to the zoo, and I got to see so many amazing animals. I've been to the zoo before with my parents, but this time felt extra special because I was with all my friends. We took a big yellow school bus to get there. Mrs. Lee, my teacher, told us to make sure we stayed together as a group and listened to the zoo guides. I sat next to my best friend, Lucy, on the bus ride. We were so excited that we could hardly sit still! When we arrived, the first thing we saw was the huge entrance gate. It had these massive animal statues on either side– a lion and an elephant. They looked almost real! We all gathered around our guide, Mr. Xu, who was dressed in a funny safari outfit. He told us we'd be starting our tour at the Africa section. The first animals we saw were the giraffes. They were so tall! Their long necks stretched up towards the trees, and they had these big funny tongues that they used to grab leaves. Lucy and I tried to imitate how they looked when they ate, and we ended up laughing so hard. Next, we visited the zebras. I loved how they had black and white stripes all over their bodies. Mr. Xu said the stripes help camouflage them in the wild. After the Africa section, we stopped for a snack break. My mom had packed me an apple and some crackers. While we were eating, we got to watch the sea lions perform tricks in their pool. They were so playful and funny! One of them kept barking like a dog, and all the kids cracked up.Then it was time for my favorite part – the panda exhibit! There was a mama panda munching on some bamboo, and her two tiny twin babies were wrestling and tumbling around. They looked like fluffy little teddy bears come to life. I wished I could've reached in and cuddled them!We saw so many other cool animals too – kangaroos, penguins, polar bears, and even a huge python snake! That one gave me the chills a little bit. The zoo guide told us the snake could swallow a whole deer if it wanted to. Yikes! At the very end, we stopped by the gift shop. My parents had given me a little spending money, so I bought a stuffed panda toy to remember the day. I figured it was the next best thing to taking home a real baby panda. On the bus ride back to school, everyone was talking about their favorite animals and showing off their new souvenirs. I couldn't wait to tell my parents all about my big zoo adventure when I got home. Maybe they'll even take me back again sometime soon!Overall, it was such a fun and educational field trip. I got to see so many incredible creatures that I'd only read about in books before. The zoo is like its own miniature jungle right here in our city! I feel really lucky that I got to experience it with my whole class. I'm definitely going to remember this day for a long, long time. I might even be a zookeeper when I grow up, who knows? For now, I'll just focus on being the best student I can be in Mrs. Lee's third grade class. Thank you for an awesome day at the zoo!篇3My Awesome Summer VacationHooray! Summer vacation was finally here! No more waking up early or doing homework. I was super duper excited for the two months of freedom and fun.The first week was just pure laziness and relaxation. I played video games all day, ate lots of snacks, and stayed up really late watching movies and shows. My mom kept nagging me to go outside and get some fresh air and exercise. But I was having too much fun being a couch potato! After that first week of slothing around though, I started to get kinda bored and restless. That's when my parents decided it was time for me to get out and do some activities during the break. They signed me up for a few summer camps and classes. The first one was a basketball camp. I'm not very tall or athletic, so I was pretty nervous. But it ended up being awesome! The coaches were really nice and patient. They taught us all the rules and basic skills of the game. By the end of the two-week camp, I had gotten much better at dribbling, passing, and even shooting some baskets. We played loads of fun games andscrimmages too. I made some new friends and it really helped boost my confidence on the court.Next up was an art class. This one was a lot more chill and relaxing compared to the super energetic basketball camp. We learned about different artistic techniques like sketching, painting, sculpting, and more. I'm a pretty creative kid, so I absolutely loved experimenting with all the different mediums. My favorite was probably the pottery and sculpting clay. It was so satisfying to take a hunk of clay and mold it into cool shapes and sculptures with my hands. I made a funky-looking vase, a little dog figurine, and a replica of my dad's car (well, it was my attempt at least!). I was really proud of my artsy masterpieces. The last summer program I did was a computer coding course. This one was honestly a bit of a struggle for me at first. Math and technology aren't really my strongest suits, so I had a little trouble wrapping my brain around all the numbers, symbols and logic at the beginning. But the teacher was super nice and broke everything down step-by-step. Eventually, I started catching on to the basics of coding languages like Python and JavaScript. By the end, I was able to build a few simple games and apps, which was really cool! Maybe I'll be a tech genius when I grow up after all. When I wasn't at my summer camps and classes, I spent a lot of time playing outside and exploring the neighborhood with my friends. We'd have awesome adventures in the woods, going on "missions" and pretending to be spies or explorers. We built cool forts and hideouts with branches and cardboard boxes. Sometimes we'd have epic Nerf gun battles or play classic games like tag and hide-and-seek.We also hit up the local pool and waterpark a bunch of times to beat the sweltering summer heat. Cannonballs, waterslides, splashing around – what could be better than that?? My friends and I would spend full days there, only taking breaks to scarf down snacks and re-apply sunscreen. Those were some of the most fun and carefree times. At the Grand Canyon, we hiked a little ways into the massive canyon and I felt so tiny compared to the towering, red-orange rock formations. In Yosemite, we set up a tent and went camping, toasting s'mores over the campfire at night while surrounded by trees taller than skyscrapers. And Yellowstone was wild, with its famous geysers like Old Faithful erupting and shooting hot water way up into the air. We saw tons of cool wildlife too – bison, elk, bears, and more! I had an absolute blast exploring and embracing nature. Before I knew it, those two months just flew by in a blur of fun memories. I was kinda bummed that summer vacation was over and it'd be back to early mornings, homework, and the grind of school again. But I Felt refreshed, more confident, and excited to show off all the new skills I had picked up over the summer. Fifth grade, here I come!篇4My Amazing Experience at the 2018 Guangzhou English ExamHi everyone! I want to tell you about my amazing experience at the 2018 Guangzhou English Exam. It was a really special day for me and I had so much fun!First of all, let me tell you about the exam venue. It was held in a big school with lots of classrooms and a beautiful playground. When I arrived, I saw many other students from different schools. We were all excited and a little nervous too. The atmosphere was filled with positive energy and everyone was ready to do their best. The exam had three parts: listening, reading, and writing. The listening part was first, and we had to listen to a recording and answer questions. I practiced listening a lot before the exam,so I felt confident. The questions were not too difficult, and I was able to understand most of the words. I was really happy when I finished this part because I knew I did well. After a short break, it was time for the reading section. We had to read passages and answer questions about them. Some of the passages were about animals, sports, and even famous people. I love reading, so this part was really enjoyable for me. I read carefully and answered the questions with confidence. I even learned some new words from the passages! Finally, it was time for the writing part. We were given a topic and had to write an essay about it. The topic was "My Dream Vacation." I was so excited because I love traveling and imagining all the wonderful places I could visit. I wrote about going to a beautiful island where I could swim in the crystal-clear water and build sandcastles on the beach. I also wrote about trying new foods and meeting people from different cultures. Writing the essay was so much fun, and I felt like my imagination was running wild! When I finished the exam, I felt a mix of relief and happiness.I knew I had tried my best and that's all that mattered. It was a great experience, and I learned a lot from it. The exam not only tested my English skills but also boosted my confidence. Itshowed me that with hard work and determination, I can achieve anything. After the exam, there was a closing ceremony where they announced the top performers. Even though I didn't win any awards, I was still proud of myself for participating and giving it my all. The experience taught me that success is not just about winning, but about the effort and passion we put into something.Overall, the 2018 Guangzhou English Exam was an unforgettable experience for me. It challenged me to push my limits and showed me the importance of being confident in myself. I made new friends, learned new things, and had a lot of fun. I can't wait for the next English exam and all the adventures it will bring! That's it, my friends! I hope you enjoyed reading about my amazing experience at the 2018 Guangzhou English Exam. Remember, always believe in yourself and never be afraid to take on new challenges. English exams can be fun too!篇5My Dream Summer VacationHello, my name is Xiao Ming and I'm going to tell you all about my dream summer vacation. It's going to be the best summer ever! I've been thinking about it a lot and have so many fun ideas.First of all, I really want to go camping with my family. We've never gone camping before, but I've heard it's really cool. You get to sleep in a tent, cook food over a fire, and tell scary stories at night. My dad says we can go camping in the mountains near our city. I hope we see some wild animals like deer or maybe even a bear! But not too close, of course. That would be scary. I'll make sure to pack my camera to take lots of pictures.Another thing I really want to do is learn how to swim properly. I can kind of swim a little bit, but I want to learn all the strokes like freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly. My parents said they will sign me up for swimming lessons at our local pool. I'm a bit nervous about it, but I know it will be fun once I get the hang of it. Who knows, maybe I'll be such a good swimmer that I can join my school's swim team next year!Speaking of school, I don't want to spend my whole summer just sitting around watching TV or playing video games. That's no fun at all. I'm going to read lots of cool books to get ready for next year. I really like science books that teach you about space, dinosaurs, and wild animals. My favorite author is Xiao Huang –his books are hilarious and filled with awesome facts. I'm also going to practice my math skills by playing educational games and doing workbooks. That way, when school starts again, I'll be super smart and ahead of everyone else!At night, we'll explore the village and see all the cool historic buildings and temples. There's even an old watchtower that I want to climb to the top of. Grandpa says you can see for miles and miles from up there. I'll pack my binoculars so I can look for birds and try to spot every single wildflower. I might even write down everything I see in a nature journal. When we come back from the village, there will still be a few weeks of summer left. That's when I'm going to work on my ultimate dream – opening a lemonade stand! I've been watching all kinds of YouTube videos to learn how to make the perfect lemonade. I'll get my parents to help me set up a little stand in front of our apartment building. Then I'll make signs and put out my lemonade to sell to anyone who walks by. If it's a big success, maybe I can use my profits to start an even bigger business next year! Those are just some of the ideas I have for my dream summer vacation. As you can see, I'm going to stay very busyand active. No lazying around for me! I'll get to spend quality time with my family, learn new skills, explore the great outdoors, and make a little extra money too. I can't wait for school to let out so my dream summer can finally begin. It's going to be incredible!篇6My Wonderful Life as an Elementary StudentHi there! My name is Li Ming and I'm a 5th grader at Guangzhou No. 6 Elementary School. I absolutely love being a student and going to school every day. There's just so much to learn and discover! Let me tell you all about my wonderful life.Every morning, my mom wakes me up bright and early at 6:30am. Even though I'm not a morning person at all, I drag myself out of bed because I don't want to be late for school. After getting dressed in my uniform, I gobble down a quick breakfast of congee and fried dough sticks. Yum! Then it's off to school I go, either by walking if the weather is nice or taking the school bus if it's raining. The first class of the day is usually Chinese language. I really enjoy reading and analyzing ancient poems and stories. Some of them are quite tricky to understand with all the symbolism anddeeper meanings. But that's what makes them so fascinating to study! Our teacher Mr. Wang is awesome at explaining things in a way that makes sense. After Chinese class, we might have math or science next. Math used to be my worst subject, but I've been working super hard this year and have seen my grades improve a lot. There's nothing more satisfying than finally understanding a difficult concept after struggling with it. Science is one of my favorites - I love doing hands-on experiments and learning about how the world works.Around 11:30am, it's time for lunch break. I always look forward to the delicious food served in our school cafeteria. My go-to meal is usually a plate of fried rice with veggies and a milk box. Sometimes they have really yummy specials like dumplings or noodle soup. After filling my belly, I'll hang out with my best friends Jia Li and Xiao Feng in the courtyard to play basketball or skip rope.In the afternoon, we have more classes like English, history, geography and art. I actually find English quite easy since my parents started teaching me the basics when I was little. History is really interesting as we learn all about ancient Chinese dynasties and cultures. Geography is cool too as we get to learnmap skills and facts about different countries around the world. Art class is probably my favorite though - I love drawing, painting and doing arts & crafts projects. After the final class ends at 4pm, I'll either join an extracurricular activity club or head home for the day. Some of the fun clubs I'm part of include Chinese yo-yo, paper cutting, and chess. The teachers who lead the clubs are super nice and make the activities really enjoyable.Once I get home, I'll have a snack like some fruit or crackers while watching a little TV to unwind. Then it's time to start my homework for the night. I have to admit, I don't love doing piles of homework, but I know it's important to reinforce what I learned in class that day. My parents are pretty strict about making sure I complete all my assignments before I can go play outside or hang out with friends. For dinner, we'll usually have a home-cooked meal of rice with different dishes like stir-fried veggies, braised meat, orzhopped up a fresh salad. Both my mom and dad are excellent cooks! After dinner, I'll squeeze in a bit more homework if needed. Then I get some free time to read, play video games, or make crafts before taking a shower and getting ready for bed around 9pm.Weekends are the best because I can sleep in late and have free time to hang out with friends, watch TV, or just relax around the house. Sometimes my parents will take me and my little brother on fun outings to places like the park, museum, or even Chimelong Amusement Park! I cherish those fun family moments. All in all, I really love my life as an elementary student. The days are structured but filled with a nice mix of learning, activities and playtime. My parents always say these are some of the most carefree and memorable years of my life. I'll do my best to soak it all in and have as much fun as possible before becoming a stressed-out middle schooler! Being a kid really is the best.。
