At last , jack cuts the beantalk and the giant dies. Jack and his mother live with the goose. They have got many golden eggs.They become rich.

杰克家可谓家徒四壁，甚至连吃的东西都没有，唯一可以拿到集市上卖钱的，就是那头奶牛。
杰克当然不愿意妈妈变卖奶牛，可家里除了奶牛再没有的别的值钱的东西可卖。
杰克阻止不了妈妈，只好坚持要自己去集市卖牛。
集市上熙熙攘攘人头攒动。
杰克无心看街头的杂耍把戏，一心想着把奶牛卖个好主顾、卖个好价钱。
在一个拍卖师那里，杰克家的奶牛从三个银币开始叫价，喊到七个银币的时候成交。
拍卖师把装银币的口袋交到杰克手里，叮嘱杰克回家再打开口袋，防止让集市上的坏人偷走。
杰克听信了拍卖师的话，提着装银币的口袋兴冲冲地回家，直到打开口袋才发现口袋里哪有什么银币，叮当做响的，是几个生锈的铁钉。
杰克发现自己上当受骗，伤心至极欲哭无泪。
杰克决定外出做工，把拍卖师骗走的钱挣回来，交付房租，买些食品，让妈妈走出生活的窘迫。
第二天早上，杰克推开家门，发现家门口不知什么时候长出一棵青豆，青豆枝繁叶茂直插云霄，大片大片的叶子下面，结着一个长长的豆荚。
杰克被眼前的景象惊呆了，放下斧头就往青豆上爬，心想这下可有妈妈吃的了。
杰克爬着爬着，不知不觉沿着青豆的枝叶爬上了云霄。
突然，杰克脚下一滑，哧溜下来的时候，杰克已经置身另一个天地。
陌生的天地里，鲜花遍野瓜果飘香。
正在杰克疑惑这是什么地方的时候，一阵急促的马蹄声传来，紧接着是哭天喊地地呼救。
杰克循声而去，发现一片村庄失火，杰克不假思索地赶去扑火救人，很快就将大火扑灭。
杰克成了这里的救命恩人，村民们恳求杰克帮他们除掉时常来袭的巨人，帮他们彻底走出巨人笼罩下的噩梦。
杰克即刻动身，村里美丽的迪丽姑娘坚持一同前往。
在大山的背后，杰克和迪丽在巨人的城堡里与巨人展开较量。
经过一场惊心动魄的较量，杰克和迪丽最终战胜巨人，将遭巨人绑架的迪丽的朋友带回村庄。
杰克像英雄凯旋一样归来，受到村民们的表彰和赞誉。
