A

(注:根据全国卷读后续写的特点,删除了原题中的划线词及续写要求)(2017年6月浙江卷)On a bright, warm July afternoon, Mac Hollan, a primary school teacher, was cycling from his home to Alaska with his friends. One of his friends had stopped to make a bicycle repair, but they had encouraged Mac to carry on, and they would catch up with him soon. As Mac pedaled (骑行) along alone, he thought fondly of his wife and two young daughters at home. He hoped to show them this beautiful place someday. Then Mac heard quick and l oud breathing behind him. “Man, that's a big dog!” he thought. But when he looked to the side, he saw instantly that it wasn’t a dog at all, but a wolf, quickly catching up with him.Mac’s heart jumped. He found out his can of bear spray. With one hand on the bars, he fired the spray at the wolf. A bright red cloud enveloped the animal, and to Mac's relief, it fell back, shaking its head. But a minute later, it was by his side again. Then it attacked the back of Mac's bike, tearing open his tent bag. He fired at the wolf a second time, and again, it fell back only to quickly restart the chase(追赶).Mac was pedaling hard now. He waved and yelled at passing cars but was careful not to show down. He saw a steep uphill climb before him. He knew that once he hit t he hill, he’d be easy caught up and the wolf’s teeth would be tearing into his flesh. At this moment, Paul and Beeky were driving their car on their way to Alaska. They didn’t think much of it when they saw two cyclists repairing their bike on the side of the road. A bit later, they spotted what they, too, assumed was a dog running alongside a man on a bike. As they got closer, they realized that the dog was a wolf. Mac heard a large vehicle behind him. He pulled in front of it as the wolf was catching upfast, just a dozen yards away now. Paragraph 1:The car abrubtly stopped in front of him.__________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2:A few minutes later, the other two cyclists arrived.__________________________________________________________________________________范文1The car abruptly stopped in front of him. Seeing the car stop, Mac jumped off his bicycle immediately and rushed to the door of the car. So frightened was he that he hardly said a whole sentence, but stammered (结结巴巴地说), “the wolf ……, please let me in.”(倒装句)Seeing the wolf running towards the car, Paul opened the door without any hesitation, pulling Mac into the car. Three men in the car stared out of the window, saw the wolf standing there and thought how to fight back the wolf.A few minutes later, the other two cyclists arrived. About a hundred meters away, the two men stopped and realized what had happened to their friend. Being aware of the wolf’s cruelty and not to startle(惊吓,使吓一跳)the wolf, they were determined to stay where they were and attempted to come up with an idea.(非谓语动词做状语)Suddenly, agood idea occurred to one of Mac's friends that they could lead the wolf to the forest by throwing beef and pock in their food bag away. To everyone’s relief, the idea worked. Smelling the flavor of the meat, the wolf turned around and ran alongside the meat.范文2The car abruptly stopped in front of him. Mac jumped off his bicycle and dashed(猛冲、急奔)for the side of the car. He dragged the car door as the hungry wolf was almost reaching him. Hardly had Paul unlocked the door when Mac dived into the car breathlessly.(倒装句,hardly...when...句式)The hungry wolf seemed unwilling to give up on its prey(猎物). It kept growling(低声吼叫、咆哮)outside, trying to enter the car. The frightened three sat inside, praying that the wolf would leave as soon as possible. After a long time, the exhausted wolf walked away reluctantly(不情愿地), disappearing in the woods.A few minutes later, the other cyclists arrived. Mac was still trembling with fear.(恐惧情绪)Seeing his friends,he rushed to them and told how he narrowly escaped the fierce wolf with the help of Paul and Beeky . All of them expressed their gratitude to the couple, who had been so kind to stop their car to save Mac’s life, and saw them off. The three friends then were again on their bicycles, continuing their trip.。

Scient ists say the results suggest that the heart is able to influence how the brain responds to a fearful event, depending on which point it is at in its regular cycle of contract ion and relaxation.Sarah Garfinkel at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School s aid:“Our study shows for the first time that the way in which we de al with fear is different depending on when we see fearful pictures in relation to our heart.”The study tested 20 healthy volunteers on their reactions to fe ar as they were shown pictures of fearful faces. Real friendship between two persons originates perhaps from the time of life when they were children playing innocently together. Real friendship is easily formed in primary or middle school days when, being socially inexperienced and free from the burden of life, you give little thought to personal gains or losses, and make friends entirely as a result of similar tastes and interests orcongenial disposition.

(注:根据全国卷读后续写的特点,删除了原题中的划线词及续写要求)(2017年11月浙江卷)A vacation with my motherI had an interesting childhood: It was filled with surprise and amusements, all because of my mother---loving, sweet, and yet absent-minded and forgetful. One strange family trip we took when I was eleven tells a lot about her.My two sets of grandparents lived in Colorado and North Dakota, and my parents decided to spend a few weeks driving to those states and seeing all the sights along the way. As the first day of our trip approached, David, my eight-year-old brother, and I unwillingly said good-bye to all of our friends. Who knew if we’d ever see them again? Finally, the moment of our departure arrived, and we loaded suitcases, books, games, camping equipment, and a tent into the car and bravely drove off. We bravely drove off again two hours later after we’d returned home to get the purse and traveler’s checks Mom had forgotten.David and I were always a little nervous when using gas station bathrooms if Mom was driving while Dad slept:” You stand outside the door and play lookout while I go, and I’ll stand outside the door and play lookout while you go.” I had terrible pictures in my mind: “Honey, where are the kids?” “What?! Oh, Gosh… I thought they wer e being awfully quiet.” We were never actually left behind in a strange city, but we weren’t about to take any chances. On the fourth or fifth night, we had trouble finding a hotel with a vacancy. After driving in vain for some time, Mom suddenly got a great idea: Why didn’t we find a house with a likely-looking backyard and ask if we could set up tent there? David and I became nervous. To our greatrelief, Dad turned down the idea. Mom never could understand our objections. If a strange family showed up on her front doorsteps, Mom would have been delighted. She thinks everyone in the world as as nice as she is. We finally found a vacancy in the next town. Paragraph 1:The next day we remembered the brand-new tent we had brought with us. __________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2:We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way.__________________________________________________________________________________范文The next day we remembered the brand-new tent we had brought with us. Thinking of this tent, Mom suggested that we go camping in the next village in excitement, with her eyes glittering(with 复合结构). Considering her enthusiasm, we all agreed. When the door of our car opened, Mom stormed out instantly and urged us to put up the tent. David and I were asked to pick up some branches to build a fire. And when we came back, Dad and Mom had already lain down the grass comfortably in front of the tent, talking merrily with a local boy at our age, who kept glancing at this tent curiously. Soon we learnt that the boy in rags(衣衫褴褛)even didn’t have a home to live in. Of course, Mom “forgot” to take this tent with us again. We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way. And we also had a nice time living with my grandparents during that trip. But what impressed me most was that tent, which was forgotten deliberately by Mom. Though she did love going camping, she presented that poor boy with this tent out of sympathy. It was Mom that made my childhood colorful. And it was also she that showed me the true meaning of giving.(强调句)I will never forget this surprising and amazing family trip.。

语鹅市安置阳光实验学校阅读理解主旨大意题专练(三) 段落大意类A(2017·烟台诊断)Grandparents who help out occasionally with childcare in their community tend to live longer than seniors who do not care for other people, according to a study from Berlin, Germany.“Having no contact with grandchildren at all can negatively impact grandparents' health. This link could be deeply rooted in our evolutionary past when help with childcare was important for the survival of the human species,” said Sonja Hilbrand, one of the researchers. The findings are drawn from data on more than 500 people over age 70. Overall, after accounting for grandparents' age and general state of health, the risk of dying over a 20year period was onethird lower for grandparents who cared for their grandchildren, compared with grandparents who provided no childcare.Caregiving was associated with a longer life even when the care receiver wasn't a relative. Half of all childless seniors who provided support to friends or neighbors lived for seven years after the study beg an, while nonhelpers lived for four years on average.“Caregiving may give caregivers a purpose of life because they may feel useful for others and society. Caregiving may be thought also as an activity that keeps caregivers physically and mentally active,” said Professor Bruno Arpino.Arpino noted, however, that caregiving is not the only activity that can improve health and that too many caring responsibilities can take away from other beneficial activities like working, being in social clubs, or volunte ering. “Children should take_into_account their parents' needs, willingness, and desires and agree with them on the timing and amount of childcare,” he suggested.“It is very important that every individual decides forhimself/herself, what ‘proper amounts of help’ means,” Hilbrand said, adding, “As long as you do not feel stressed about the intensity (强度) of help you provide you may be doing something good for others as well as for yourself.”
