老妈嘱咐了太多关于住家的话：和人家好好相处，多沟通，多做家务，好好照顾自己。
满不在乎的我以为都知道都懂，但真的和我想的不一样。
第一天走进住家，有了要和妈妈分开的真实感，一进我的屋子，就“哇”一下哭出来，止也止不住。
老妈在我的第一个住家住了一周，就不得不回家了，于是，一个人的美国生活正式开始。
先说说我的第一个住家。
两个男孩两个女孩，美国最普通的工薪阶层，住家爸爸每天天不亮就出门，天黑才回来，住家妈妈是房屋中介，买卖房子。
日子一天天地在过，一开始我还喜欢的住家却一天不如一天。
时不时很晚才来接，动不动就不明原因地发脾气，以及天天吃剩饭——老妈走了两周后的一天，依旧在吃老妈当时做的菜和米饭，甚至水果一周就能吃几个。
不知道怎么日子就变成现在这样了，可能真的太忙了吧。
越来越拧巴的冲突就开始了，我也慢慢走上换住家之路，那段时间各种状态非常差，老想把不满一股脑地发泄出来。
第一步找学校反映情况。
校长到过中国，喜欢中国文化，还算关心中国学生，见了面各种聊，各种问候，各种不成句子的英语+身体语言，管他三七二十一，能表达清楚就行。
但快两周过去了，没有任何动静。
于是厚起脸皮来天天堵人，一开始也是很不好意思。
后来，校长找到了中国学生寄宿家庭的负责人，总算帮我们解决了住宿问题。
然后我见到了这个非常干练、一看就是女强人的老太太，也就是我的第二个住家，也是我在美国第一个真正意义上的家。
第一次见面，老太太立马就来了个拥抱，我对她第一印象非常好。
两个人聊了很多，一下子说清楚了，其实说出来心情也舒服了不少。
聊天那晚发生了一件事，让我深刻地意识到了美国对隐私这件事是多么在意。
老太太家装饰得非常好，室友觉得新鲜，给她妈妈拍照展示老太太家的房子，结果被老太太看到了，大声训斥她，说什么这是我的家，不是大街上，你要拍，要展示一定要经过我的允许之类。

如适应寄宿家庭有困难，应该尝试与他们交流大家的问题和焦虑，许多问题和不理解经常通过该方式得到解决。
食美国高中寄宿家庭定期供应不同种类，均衡营养的饭菜。
早餐一般是快餐、清淡的食品，包括面包/土司/水果，果汁/牛奶，麦片/鸡蛋。
