appendix附录Teaching design for “Antarctica: the last continent”教学设计介绍：本教学设计秉承着素质教育“还课堂与学生的”思想，充分发挥学生的积极性，扩大学生的参与度；同时运用暑期远程培训中鲁子问教授提出的“pre- during- post-reading ”教学步骤并紧密结合阅读教学的基本思想，并按照自己和学生的实际设计出来的。

文章从导入到分层阅读，再到读后总结及运用的各个环节，都设计了很多供学生参与的活动。

活动有集体活动和个人活动，有利于培养学生的合作和独立解决问题的能力。

通过分段阅读加深对文章细节的理解。

分段读，题目形式不拘一格，分别采用“大事记”“图片直现”“问答填空”“听力抓词”“设计表格”，形式新颖，妙趣横生，有利于调动学生积极性和广泛的参与度。

这是本教学的特点之一，其次采用视频、图片、听力等直观形式，效果良好；更主要的是本设计与高考阅读表达紧密结合，还有“方法点播”可谓鱼与熊掌兼得！作业部分要求学生复述所学内容是文章的进一步升华，采用“百家讲坛”的形式更具有吸引力，同时训练学生应用文写作。
