市实验共同体六年级英语教学案Unit 2 What a day!【单元教材分析】本单元课题为“What a day!”，教材内容主要是围绕描述天气和回顾周末活动而展开的话题，表现为日记形式。
涉及的主要句型是“It was sunny/ cloudy/ windy/ rainy. I/ We / He / She flew/ brought/ …”。
本单元是在第一单元初步感知规则动词过去式的基础上，展开对不规则动词过去式的学习,是对第1单元所学一般过去时的肯定句式的巩固及延伸，同时又为后续学习奠定基础。
此外，教师可根据学情有意识地补充四五年级新教材中有关天气（warm, cool, cold, hot) 及日期等相关内容，将所学知识融会贯通，进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合语言运用能力。
