英语教师不仅要在教学中有意识地培养学生对英语的持久兴趣，激励学生不断处于较佳的学习状态之中，使他们对英语乐学、善学、会学，学而忘我，其乐无穷。
而且还要用灵活多样的教学方法，组织学生进行广泛的语言实践活动，加强学生的英语阅读理解能力，从而真正达到学习英语的目的。
设计理念：1．注重情境性与交际性的结合在本课，情境性原则和交际性原则贯穿始终，通过询问对方怎么了，复习上节课的内容。
利用多媒体的特殊效果给学生创设真实的学习情境，引出新知识，使学生把知识融入、运用到生活当中，做到了学以致用。
2．注重知识的滚动性在free talk的环节中融入了大量旧知识的复习和六年级新知识的提前输入，扩大了课堂的容量，加强了课堂的饱和度3．注重操练的层次性在新授句型的过程中，采用总分总的方法。
先通过人机对话呈现出完整句型，给学生一个初步感知，然后利用有趣的游戏和chant来巩固，在学生们对新知识比较熟悉以后，再创设情景进行较难的对话表演，做到层层递进，由易到难，使学生轻松地掌握了所学知识。
整堂课老师在情境中教学，学生在活动中学习，在交际中运用，真正的体现了活动课的精神。
