According to the agreement between SCUT and UNSW , in 2012 15 postgraduates will get the opportunity for further study in UNSW . UNSW affords very favorable condition including:

In 1960 it broadened its scholarly character with the establishment of the Faculty of Arts , soon to be followed , in 1960 by Medicine ,then in 1971 by Law . Ranked 49th worldwide on the 2011 QS World University Rankings . Compared with many other universities in America and Europe UNSW is not so famous but it is still a good university .
Now it is one of the world’s largest schools of business , which has 8750 students . The graduates can get an annual salary of US$122,890 in the first year in average.

History
Its history can be traced back to the formation of the Sydney Mechanics Institute in 1843 , which was renamed to the Sydney Technical College in 1878. It was not a university until 1949 .The University was incorporated by Act of the Parliament of New South Wales in Sydney. At that time it was called the New South Wales University of Technology . The government wanted to build the University to be one focused on science and technology just like the MIT .

The Australian School of Business at UNSW is Australia’s leading business school and a powerhouse of business education and research in the Asia Pacific region. The School was established in 2007 when the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at The University of New South Wales merged with the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) .

The Faculty of Engineering was a foundation faculty of UNSW. The University’s first 46 students were all majored in Engineering . Today the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW has around 9000 students.
