Doctor Manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually ,Lucie is beautiful and gentle ,Charles is graceful and noble,Lorry is upright and honest ,Sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm, unconventional but also selfless and lofty,Miss Pross is straightforward and loyal,Evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister……The complex hatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds, loves rebirth in the hell edge, but take the life as the price. As an outstanding writer,in Dickens's work, the language skill is essential. Each kind of rhetoric technique, like the analogy, the exaggeration, the contrast, the humorous, and the taunt are handled skillfully, and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak."A tale of two cities" has its difference with the general historical novel, its character andthe main plot are all fictionalizes. With the broad real background of the French Revolution, the author take the fictional character Doctor Manette's experience as the main clue, interweaves the unjust charge, love and revenge three independences but also incident cross-correlation stories together, the plot is criss-crossed,and the clue is complex. The author use insert narrates, foreshadowing, upholstery and so many techniques, causes the structure integrity and strictness, the plot winding anxious and rich of theatrical nature,it displayed the remarkable artistic skill.the style "A tale of two cities" is solemnity and melancholy, fills indignantion, but lacks the humor of the early works. Learn to love and careHere I am sitting on a couch alone, thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart, which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist, written by theprominent British author Charles Dickens. The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel, but what this aloof society lacks, and what I lack deep inside. These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals, oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings, and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another ;; love and care. Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply.Mr. Brownlow is one such person. The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves, Artful Dodger and Charley Bates, and thought naturally it was Oliver, who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves, that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful, he caught Oliver, and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered, unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him, Oliver was proved innocent byone onlooker afterwards. With sympathy, Mr. Brownlow took the injured, poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day, however, Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while, Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically, they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.”Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a secondchance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others. Then there are Mrs. Maylie and Rose, Oliver’s other benefactors. Maybe the reason they loved and cared Oliver was not because of forgiveness. In my point of view, it was trust. They had faith in Oliver when he was considered to be a filthy burglar who tried to break the front door of Maylie’s at midnight. But this wasn’t how these two ladies saw the whole thing. They denied Oliver’s crime immediately and listened attentively to Oliver’s own description of his miserable life. They were deeply touched by Oliver’s strong perseverance and astonishing vitality. Accordingly, they remedied Oliver’s body and heart and turned him into a different boy. He began to wear appropriate and clean suits which were tailor-made for him and receive education. As far as we can see, it is trust that helps us all live together without precaution. Sometimes trust can even lead us to miracles, which we often expect to come about, so why not trust? Trust yourself, trust others, and you’ll salute miracles every single day.In the novel, though the young Oliver again and again fellfor conspiracies of those hideous thieves, who tried to torture Oliver’s body and poisoned Oliver’s heart intensely, he always lived on and tried hard to seek for his own life. Then I realized what supported him all through were actually beliefs. In most cases, what you believe is what you’ll become. Believe that you are unlimited, that you can do anything you commit to doing, and when you do, your accomplishments will know no bounds. You control your beliefs and that is how you ultimately control your life. It’s all dictated by your attitude. In the final analysis, love and care contain numerous forms, there are love of forgiveness, love of trust, etc. but they all come from your beliefs in life. When someone tells you he’s deceived you, forgive him anyway, when someone tells you what he’s done, trust him anyway, and when you face adversities while chasing your dreams, think about your beliefs, then what hinders you will become a piece of cake in no time.So find out “Olivers”in your life and do as Mr. Brownlow and Mrs. Maylie do: love them and care them, which cost nothing but save much. They enrich those who receive, without impoverishing those who give. They can be certainsmallest words or actions, but the memory of them sometimes last forever.Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.”These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us, therefore, enjoy life and treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together.()一篇英语读后感麦克白英语读后感简爱英语读后感500字。

Notice: This was the companion piece of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and also the continuation.Although it could be said that this book was the continuation, still,it started a whole new story of Huck.Basic Information:Huck: A real friend of Tom SawyerJim: A nigger (forgive me, though the word was offensive, it was the word which went through the whole book) who felt discontent of the Widow, and ran away to seek freedom. The King: A swindler who claimed to be a king, and went along with Huck and Jim to cheat money. The duke: Also a cheater, who went alongside with the king.Mr. and Mrs. Phelps: Tom Sawyer’s relatives. While Huck was being raised by the Widow, Miss Watson, he found his father sitting in his room, and he was being brought away. There, the true adventures began…While Huck’s father left Huck for three days, he ran away, and got to the island of Jacksonville, which he was familiar to. However, the second night, he met Jim! While he found out, Jim was sound asleep. Jim was being shocked to death when he found out that Huck was there too (you know, Jim was also a run-away, so he was also scared that someone would find him). Then they were together, and got elsewhere. They slept at day, and took actions at night. One day, they evidently met the king and the duke. Actually, I have been foolish enough to believe that they were actually a king and a duke! To tell the truth, they were just a couple of cheaters. But then, they went along with Huck and Jim, and while they claimed that they were the royals, they were being treated in a good way (which I hated). On the way, the king and the duke cheated a pretty lot of money. I could say that they nearly gained a thousand dollars. Then they pretended to be the brothers in a family who had a large amount of money. However, they were being discovered, and they ran away as soon as they could. While the days went by, Huck was beginning to show detesting in the duke and the king, and he ran away from them when he sought a chance. However, he found out that Jim was gone! Soon, the two caught up, and the duke told him where to go. And this was the last time ever that Huck should see these two fellows. What was the most amusing thing was that, in the end, he met Tom again in Tom’s uncle’s house! Mr. and Mrs. Phelps were waiting for Tom for a very long time, and when they found a boy standing over their (Huck, of course), they were so overexcited that they thought Huck was Tom! Huck found himself in a real depressed situation: if Tom came, how was he ever going to explain it all? He decided to go looking for Tom.When Tom found out that Huck was in front of him, he was surprised that Huck was still alive (because when Huck was lost, all of the people in town thought that Huck was already killed)! Tom was naturally a smart boy, and he came up with a way. He made himself Sid, the brother of Tom, and was also greeted by the Phelps.Of course, Jim was locked up, and Tom promised Huck to save him. They let Jim do a lot of things, such as taking a rattlesnake as a pet, and also watering a tiny plant with his tears (trust me, I never had no idea what it was about). Finally when, they made all of the efforts to save Jim, they found that in Miss Watson (she was Jim’s hostess)’s will, she already set free to Jim! Today, I finished reading the bronze sunflower.Bronze is a good and obedient boy. He listens to the words of his mother and father, and the family says a bronze is afraid to say two, in order to make the home good;He did not go to school, he dug a basket of wild vegetables outside, he beat a wild bird, he helped his family to see the fields, he watched the animals, and he read the words in 100 words.It#39;s a good helper for mom and dad.But he was a silent child who was better off than he was, and not only could he speak and go to school, but he could not.Father and mother say one, we dare to say two, do not think for the family to buy this buy that, this bad that person is not , cell phones play a sharp decline in one eye, game consoles, fallen on mom and dad said, have no use, more is said to be a good helper for mom and dad, is mom and dad trouble, ok!We also want to be like bronze, when the father mother#39;s good helper, the family#39;s three handles, come on! Yes, life has to go through the upstream to go up to a higher level. The most important thing is to look up to yourself.Donkey, to any person, is a only know things of livestock, tearing throat call every day, also don#39;t know how bad his voice, especially those old donkey, also useless, can kill stew to eat.Who would have thought that even a donkey would teach people. One day, a farmer#39;s donkey fell into a dry well, and the farmer tried to find a way to rescue the donkey, but a few hours later, the donkey was crying in the dry well.In the end, the farmer decided to give up, and he thought that the donkey was too old to be able to get it out.But anyway, the well has to be filled in.Then the farmer asked the neighbor to help him bury his respected donkey, so that he could not suffer. The farmer#39;s neighbors began to shovel the soil into the dry well. When the donkey learned about his situation, he began to cry miserably and had a cold wife. But, to his surprise, the donkey quieted down after a while. The farmer#39;s curious probe looked into the well and was startled to see what he saw. When the soil that was shoveled into the well landed on the donkey, all the soil fell to the bottom of the well and then stood on it.Soon the donkey ran away in surprise! This is a very interesting story, the end of the story is surprising, however, has told us a useful lesson: life must be through the upstream to towards a higher level, the most important thing is always respect yourself. As the donkey trapped in the bottom of the well, during thejourney of life, sometimes we fall into the dry well, and then all kinds of silt return to get out of these dry Wells, we would shake off the mud and stand on it! As a fact, I found out that this book, the Code Talker was rather easy for me to read, either about the comprehensions, or about the vocabularies. I suggest that people, who had lower English skills, were able to read this book. Overall, although I seemed to show passion in it, I found that there were no clear stories, and most of them seemed a bit even boring to me.On the background of World War II, the author used the first person pronoun to write this book. The major plot was about the Navajos, a large tribe of Indians in America, chosen to join the Marines, to defeat the Japanese. The protagonist, Kii Yazhi (pretty strange name, isn’t it?), was born in an ordinary Navajo family. At the year of seven, Yazhi began to realize that his parents were determined to send him to school. At that time, Navajos were being despised by the Americans, and the Americans believed that the Navajos were taking lower levels than they did. Later on, the Americans could not stand the uneducated Navajos, so they set up schools for them. Most of the Navajos were finishing their courses at the end of the elementary school. Then they were already graduated, however, because Yazhi did well in the courses, and he was always the best in every way, he was allowed to enter the middle school. You know, as I said above, few of the Navajos were permitted to go on after elementary school, and because Yazhi was entering middle school, that meant he could do something different…Before, when Yazhi was in the elementary school, he showed affection in geography, and he kept doing very well in the exams. When he was in the middle school, he was also the best. Although it was my own opinion, I suggested that this helped Yazhi to enter the Marines, and affected him totally.A matter of time passed, and Yazhi know that the school was recruiting members for the Marines. However, he was only in the year of fifteen, and the deadline was seventeen. Still, at that time, none of the Navajos had any Birth Certificates, and the only proves were from the parents’ mouth (maybe the policy was unsuccessful). So then, Yazhi went for his parents, and asked if they could say he was seventeen years old, when the committee came and asked for his age. Beyond the expectations of Yazhi, his parents refused to do so, and asking him to wait till another year came. They claimed that he was still too young to fight for his country. Finally, the day came for Yazhi to depart. Of course, his parents were unwilling to do so, but they agreed with Yazhi. There was a ceremony, and it started from the morning, and ended in midnight. Yazhi was excited, but also a bit fearful about his future.(I chose to abbreviate the fights, mainly because of that I found it not appealing, and I hope you can forgive me). When finally Yazhi arrived back home, he found out that he was still being treated the same as years before- being despised by white people. However, he met with his relatives again, and he was happy. Thoughts given by Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s SonWritten in the first chapter of the book Pride and Prejudice is an extraordinary sentence ofwhich even a person who has had only a brief look upon the book will not fail to receive a deep impression-It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. In terms of Sherlock Holmes, we’d better alter the sentence into “It is a fact universally accepted by readers throughout the world that an excellent book in possession of our famous detective Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly a masterpiece of all times.” Perhaps this is one of the most obvious explanations for the unrivaled popularity of “Holmes series” in the field of detective stories. Overwhelmed by the recommendations provided by my friends, I decided to take a look on this Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son originally published by Oxford University Press. As a whole, this book is about a case concerning the Duke’s missing son. Arthur, the Duke’s son, was found out in a certain morning to have disappeared, accompanied with which was also the disappearance of the German teacher. The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case is, Holmes immediately made up his mind to accept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. Having formed a rough idea about the whole matter, Holmes probed into the case immediately and had a careful investigation of the entire area shortly after the arrival, during the process of which he discovered the body of the German teacher Heidegger. Finally, primarily due to his prominent ability as a detective, he managed to unravel the mystery and obtained the twelve thousand pounds promised by the Duke.Having once started reading this fiction, I was completely immersed in the mysterious story presented by the book. As the saying goes, “Well begun, half done”。

Reading After Thoughts in Primary SchoolThird GradeAs a third-grader in primary school, reading has always been a fascinating journey for me. Recently, I finished reading a storybook called "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain, and it left me with profound thoughts. The story revolves around the mischievous yet charming character of Tom Sawyer and his friends' adventures in a small town. Through their antics and mishaps, I couldrelate to Tom's curiosity, bravery, and sense of adventure. The book not only entertains but also teaches valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and the importance of standing up for what is right. One of the most striking lessons I learned from the story is the importance of perseverance. Tom and hisfriends faced many challenges and difficulties throughout their adventures, but they never gave up. They persevered and found a way to overcome each obstacle. This teaches me that no matter how tough a situation may be, I should never lose hope and should keep trying until I succeed.Another lesson that resonated with me is the value of friendship. Tom's friends were always there for him, and together they faced many challenges. This reminds me that friends are essential in life, and we should cherish and respect them. Friends are those who support us, understand us, and make us laugh when we are down. Moreover, the story teaches me the importance of standing up for what is right. Tom and his friends refused to back down when they saw injustice, and they stood up to fight against it. This teaches me that I should always have the courage to speak up and do what is right, even if it means facing difficulties. In conclusion, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is not just a storybook; it's a lesson in life. It teaches me about perseverance, friendship, and standing up for what is right. As a third-grader, I have learned that reading can be not only fun but also educational. It opens up a whole new world of knowledge and understanding, and I am excited to explore more books in the future.**小学三年级的读后感**作为小学三年级的学生,阅读对我来说总是一次迷人的旅程。

I take advantage of this summer vacation free time, read this great work.Notre Dame cathedral's story, actually was one at that time social epic poem, since brimmed with really. Friendly. Beautiful, also the flow selfish desire and is false. Regardleof is good beautiful Asmelada ,or has the ugly semblance,Cacimodo with one pure mind, they represent the great amount the lower level populace which suppresses; Perhaps is sinister Coloud, he is appears by the theocracy face, all load bearing one kind of author's ponder. The author in this work, for with the clown, was beautifully friendly and wickedly does the best annotation,or take above three people as the example, the rebel Asmelada has the beautiful semblance and the chaste good mind, as well as pitiful destiny, but Cacimodo, he withstood destiny deceive nicely, the innermost feelings is his misery is graver, but Coloud maintained the benighted social rights and interests, he had brutally. Good person physique hateful, but the evil person actually says the appearance shore however, bright set off, social unfair manifest. But the article result also is when the opposition society until criticism: All beautiful is good all swallows by the might and the evil, the lower level peopl(e's weak strength in under the king power rule, in the benighted society, only can be reduced toashes. Author Hugo through " Notre Dame cathedral " this story, but also disclosed at that time the dark society's essence to the people. This fascinating story likes that Ccimodo clocks sound equally shocks several generation of readers' minds. It’s a sad story about a beautiful and kind-hearted goddess callde Esmeralda and a ugly but virtuous bell ringer called Quasimodo. They perform a haunting legend. The Cathedral of Notre Dame is one of the most famous books written by Hugo. It’s a great novel with powerful thinking and artistic charm, and full of humanitarian and romanticism. A great novel lies not only in its twists plot, but also in the way to make characters and reflect the fact. Then it can make people a great hit. " The Cathedral of Notre Dame " has achieved this point! Its plot is unusual and stress, characters are exaggerated, the kind and the innocent were ruled under autocracy of the medieval feudal, they sufferedpersecution without mercy... ... Such a tragedy, is enough to make readers feel angry about the social which is full of feudal things in that time……Beautiful and kind-hearted goddessEsmeralda has beautiful appearance, but the point is that she has a kind heart. When she saved the poor poet, sent water and compassion to Quasimodo who had ever hurt herself, I realise she was a real beauty, with a mind without any dirt. She is such a great model! She is deeply imprinted in my heart, let me know the essence of beauty ——the real beauty always form after so many tribulations with courage and brave. This is a rebel! However, such a girl like an angel, was so badly treated and in the end she made sacrifices and left her sweet smile and beautiful dance in the memory of mine…… The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway’s most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.This novel mainly wrote one old person alone in marine fishes. He fished one big fish, tied up the fish head and the upperpart of the body side the boat above. But he met the shark fish, the old person causes all one's skill and the shark fish fight, the shark fish the fish flesh which could eat all eats finished also has about 800 pounds. This book promulgates the truth, not showed the person how regardleof, most feared is does not have the confidence. The confidence is just like is the automobile motor, is power which the person goes forward.I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday. As the only living things on a bare planet called “Just Like Home”, humans felt lonely and sad. In order to live, they must get married as often as possible and have children. Unwilling to get married, our 16-year-old protagonist named Humming Bird ran away from her planet and found a plastic space ship. There she met various kinds of animals, which frightened her even drove her crazy. She had never seen such things before. Only through ‘The Book Of Remembering’ did she get some rough idea of animals. After she took a small-copied cat home and showed it to the officials on her planet, the cat was shot to death and all the officials went crazy. Humming Brid didn’t give up her attempt to let people accept the animals. She decided to set about the job from children…That’s the brief plot of Harry Gilbert’s science fiction—. Based on the reality of increasing environmental problems, the writer uses his full imagination and creativity to produce this vivid imaginative and thought-provoking story. As far as we know, animal numbers are now diminishing all over the world every years, and the living conditions we depend on a getting worse. We dirty the air with gases and smoke, poisonthe water with chemicals and other substances and damage the soil with too many fertilizers and pesticides. We also pollute our surroundings in many other ways. Air, water and soil are all very important and necessary to the survival of all living things all over the world. If we human don’t pay more attention to that, there will come a day when we have to live the kind of life described in this novel. As we know, the world is made up not only of human beings but also a lot of other living things. If we don’t want to leave this perfect planet, we have to protect the environment; otherwise, without the company of other living things, people would only be half-alive, men only half-men.Nowadays, I should say, people have realized the importance of environmental protection and ecological balance. Slogans that remind us to save water and electricity are stuck everywhere, but how many are treated as requirements or duties and not just a piece of pa-pe-r. If we pay a little attention to our working and study places, we always find some taps half opened with running water, and large numbers of people get used to leave lights on during the day. Dustbins for both recycled and unredeemable rubbish are placed in high density but no one bothers to throw the rubbish into the right dustbins. Nor do they even know what kind of rubbish could be recycled and what kind could not.Conservation centers for protecting animals are built in many countries. Our government also passed some acts to protect animals; however, there do exist some law-breakers who are driven by money. We plant trees very year, but no one bothers to water and care for them after planting them. For money, some farmers drive their sheep and cattle to grasslands and charge it into desert. All in all, to every on e, I want to say, “Living on thiswonderful planet earth, we are lucky and happy. In order to enjoy this kind of wonderful life, we must care for mother earth and put this kind of care into practice.”Facing the world, to be or not to be, it’s up to you. W e must make a choice without any hesitation!。
