Unit 4 School things一、课前准备1、教学对象：小学三年级学生2、课时：一课时3、学生课前准备：复习前一单元所学内容，引入学习文具与物品单词，自然而然地过渡到本单元的主题。
二、教材分析本节课是学习Join In小学三年级英语上册第五单元School things的第一课时，主要内容是听、说、认读有关学习物品的单词和询问、描述物品的对话。
1、教学目标知识目标：(1)学习掌握单词 pen、pencil、schoolbag、book、bike、ruler、eraser等。
(2)初步了解询问物品的句型：What’s this? What’s this in English? It’s a/an…. 能力目标：培养学生运用英语表达和描述物品的能力。
确立教学目标的依据：根据《英语新课程标准》的要求，小学阶段的英语课主要是激发学生学习英语的兴趣；培养学生对英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立学习英语的自信心；培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调，为英语的进一步学习打下基础。
2、教学重难点重点：能听懂、会说简单的学生日常用品，比如铅笔、橡皮擦等。
难点：（1）单词：pencil、schoolbag的认读。
（2）理解并灵活运用：Have you got…? Yes I have/No I have not. What have you got? I have got….3、学情分析本节课授课的对象是小学三年级的学生，他们对英语有一定的了解。
在学习这节课之前，他们掌握了关于动物、颜色、数字、食物，星期以及月份等单词。
他们对英语的学习有着极高的兴趣，模仿能力也很强。
三. 教学过程1、Warm-up师生演唱“Have you got a pen”渲染课堂气氛，制造活泼轻松的学习环境。
2、Presentation师生询问：Have you got a pen? 从而引出本单元重点句型：“What have you got?”（设计意图：师生间亲切的问候，建立了和谐、民主的课堂气氛，让学生更乐于学习。
