with the economic development, our lives become cosier. we can enjoy our comfortable lives. but do you know how things we use are produced?people produce ? and do you know where the material is from? it is from our mother, the earth. for example, we get fossil oil and coal from underground., they are the wealth that earth gives us. but at the same time human destroy the world, destroy our hometown.
what do we cause? global warming,ozone depletion, acid deposition and so on. because of these, th eearth becomes weaker and weaker.
the most serious problem is global warming. it means the air temperature rises around the world, the result of global warming is that glacier melts which leads to sea level rises .sea level rise may cause many dangerous things, such as drowning towns and villages, some small island countries are even in danger of being drowned. global warming damages human being, and also the earth. now everyone believes that mitigating global warming is urgent.
what should we do? our duty is to reduce carbon emission. firstly, we should choose a low-carbon life. for example, people can walk to offices and schools instead of driving a car. secondly, planting trees is a good and simple way. if everyone plants a tree every year, six billion trees will be planted in a year. how great it is! how clear air will be! thirdly, we should tell everybody the importance of living a simple life. let people act now.
