本课教学是在学生学习了前两个单元农场的动物和动物园的动物之后开始学习的.针对三年级学生的学习特点和之前的基础,本课教学我主要设计了以下五个教学环节.
一:表演歌曲,为学生创设一个轻松,愉快地学习英语的氛围.
二:复习旧知,一方面对有关动物的知识进行复习,也以此引出新课.

Step 1：Warm-up
播放歌曲“Old MacDonald had a Farm”，师生共唱，可以一边唱一边表演，表演出歌曲里面的动物及它们的动作。
五:结束课堂,我以两个问题结束本课的教学.问题一:假设你是这只羊,你会救狼吗?孩子们纷纷表示不会,我又抛出第二个问题,假如你的同学遇到了困难,你会帮助他们吗?孩子们则纷纷表示会帮助自己的朋友.我以此为契机赶紧告诉孩子们:我们在帮助别人的同时一定要懂得保护好自己,帮助他人之前要睁大眼睛看清楚他到底是好人还是坏人.
三:学习故事.首先让学生听故事,把握故事大意.此环节我设置了四个问题来考察学生对故事的整体把握程度.其次是让学生分片断听故事,模仿读故事,结合内容回答问题,帮助学生更好的理解故事,掌握语言点.
四:表演故事,在学生通读掌握了故事情节的基础上,我设计让学生在组内分角色朗读,表演故事.并有意让表现好的小组到前面来展示,给大家做好法模范.

课后认真反思本节课的教学,我认为本节课的教学基本符合新课程标准的要求，但课堂仍然存在以下问题。
一，给学生读的时间不够，不能体现在读中理解，在读中感悟的要求，而且学困生很有可能不能流利朗读。
二，课堂评价机制还不够健全。不能极大的调动学生参与课堂活动的积极性。
三，自己驾驭课堂教学的能力还有待提高。课堂缺乏活力。

本课是一节复习课，共分为五个部分。其中前四个部分紧贴本单元主题——Animals at the zoo训练学生的听说读写四大能力。
学生分析：
经过三年级上半年的英语学习，学生对英语有了一定的了解，掌握了一些词汇、表达方式，培养了一定的语感，对英语学习逐渐产生了兴趣。
本单元的话题是谈论生活在动物园里的动物，贴近学生的生活，加上这个年龄段的孩子都喜欢小动物，所以他们对本单元的学习产生了浓厚的兴趣，这就有利于学生掌握本单元的单词和表达方式。
