Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall. We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are!I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!北京旅游的英语作文篇2This summer holiday I have been to England and had a great time. Now I would like to share something interesing with you. In England, I always find people like eating fresh meat and vegetables and they told me that that's why they keep healthy. Speaking of cars, in England, cars all running on the left side which is different from China. If you exceed the speed limit, you will be fined seriously. What's more, it is very impolite to askpeople about their salary and age in this country. Besides, when you are lining up, you can't jump the queue. This is the rule in the society and people all follow it. At last, when you are shopping, you can't bargain with others. This is England. It really made me impressive. I hope I can go there one more time.北京旅游的英语作文篇3On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. After listeningto my mother and teacher yao, the wall was so long that I quickly climbed up and didn't rest for a while. I finally climbed to the north eighth floor of the Great Wall, and I proudly shouted on the eighth floor of the north tower: I am a good man, and the echo came from the mountain. We went down to the Great Wall to eat Beijing's famous Peking duck. 北京旅游英语作文50词小学

北京旅游英语作文50词小学全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Fun Trip to Beijing!Last summer, my family took a really exciting trip to Beijing, the capital of China! It was my first time going there and I had a blast exploring the city with my mom, dad, and little brother. We started our adventure by visiting the famous Forbidden City. This was an enormoussss palace complex where the emperors of China used to live a long time ago. It had over 9,000 rooms! Can you imagine having that many rooms in your house?I would get so lost trying to find the bathroom. The architecture was gorgeous with bright red buildings, intricate designs, and those cool slanted roofs. My favorite part was checking out the gardens within the palace grounds. There were beautiful ponds with koi fish swimming around, rocks arranged in neat patterns, and flowers blooming everywhere. It felt like being transported back in time to ancient China. I spotted a few people doing tai chi andpainting with ink brushes just like they did hundreds of years ago. After the Forbidden City, we walked along the Great Wall of China! This massive wall used to protect China from invaders and it snaked through the mountains for thousands of miles. The part we visited was really steep with crazy staircases that seemed to go on forever. I started getting tired after the first few hundred steps, but I didn't want to be a baby about it. The views from the top were unbelievable - you could see the wall winding through the green hills as far as the eye could see. I felt so tiny compared to this gigantic man-made structure. It was mind-blowing that people built it so long ago without modern tools and technology. For lunch, we had delicious jian bing which is kind of like a crepe with an egg, crispy wontons, cilantro, and sauces wrapped inside. It's a popular Beijing street food and it was soooo yummy!I stuffed myself but still had just enough room for a chocolatey bing su dessert afterwards. Bing su has shaved ice, condensed milk, fruit, and other sweet toppings piled mile high. So refreshing on a hot summer day.One night, we went to see an amazing acrobat show! The performers could do all sorts of crazy flips, juggle tons of objectsat once using just their feet, and contort their bodies into human knots. At one point, they stacked up chairs all the way to the ceiling and had acrobats doing handstands at the very top. I was terrified they would fall! My heart was pounding the whole time. The show was absolutely mind-blowing. I have no idea how they achieved such superhuman flexibility and balance.Another day, we toured the beautiful grounds of the Summer Palace, which used to be a relaxing retreat for Chinese royalty. I loved seeing the Long Corridor, which stretched for over half a mile! The corridor was covered in colorful paintings of scenes from classic Chinese legends and stories. We also took a boat out onto Kunming Lake in the middle of the palace grounds. The lake was surrounded by willow trees, pagodas, and marble bridges. So peaceful and serene. One afternoon, we participated in a Chinese calligraphy class. We learned about the different brushstroke styles and tools like the ink stone for grinding the ink stick. Then we practiced writing Chinese characters like "dragon" and "double happiness." My calligraphy looked like chicken scratch compared to the teacher's beautiful flowing strokes! I only just started taking Chinese lessons in school so reading and writing is still brand new for me. But it was really cool learning about this ancient art form.On our final day, we took a day trip to Mutianyu, which is a part of the Great Wall restored for tourists. I was so glad we got to visit it again because the scenery was even more breathtaking than the first section we saw. Mutianyu had watchtowers rising up from the mountain peaks as far as you could see like something straight out of a fantasy movie. We took a fun cable car ride up to the top, walked along the wall crisscrossing over the lush green hills, and enjoyed spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Definitely my favorite memory from the whole trip.Beijing was an amazing place filled with rich history, beautiful sights, delicious food, and friendly people. I feel like I learned so much about traditional Chinese culture just from this one vacation. I took a ton of pictures and videos to remember the experience forever. My only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed even longer! There's still so much left for me to see and do in Beijing. I already can't wait to go back someday. Zai jian!篇2My Amazing Trip to Beijing!Wow, what an incredible trip I just had to Beijing, the capital of China! I had been looking forward to this vacation for months. My parents told me we were going to visit a place that was thousands of years old with such an amazing culture and history.I could hardly wait! Our journey began by boarding a huge airplane and flying for what seemed like forever over the vast Pacific Ocean. After nearly 13 hours in the sky, we finally landed in Beijing. As soon as I stepped off the plane, I could tell this city was going to be like nowhere else I had ever been before. The first glimpse I got of Beijing was through the window of the taxi on our way to the hotel. I saw sprawling modern buildings towering over ancient temples and palaces. The roads were full of cars, buses, bikes and people going every which way. It was a bit chaotic at first, but also fascinating! We stayed in a really cool hotel that had a big courtyard and pagoda roofs. Our first full day, we headed to Tiananmen Square, the biggest public plaza in the world! The square was massive, with the Gate of Heavenly Peace on one end and the Forbidden City on the other side. Tons of locals and tourists were walking around taking photos of the monuments and buildings. I've never seen anything quite like it.Next up was a visit to the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace from the Ming and Qing dynasties. This place was absolutely breathtaking. We entered through the Gate of Supreme Harmony into a complex of nearly 1000 buildings with yellow-glazed tile roofs. Our tour guide explained how this was the home of 24 different emperors over 500 years. I felt like a kid in a real-life museum! One of my very favorite parts was walking along the Long Corridor, a covered pathway with 24 beautifully painted arches depicting scenes from ancient tales. Weaving through the courtyards and gardens was like being transported back in time. I kept imagining what life must have been like for the emperor centuries ago. After the Forbidden City, we took an evening rickshaw tour through the old hutong neighborhoods. These were the traditional alleys and homes where regular Beijing residents lived. Our driver pedaled us past tiny courtyard houses, shops, and restaurants. It was a fascinating look at an older, authentic side of the city. We finished the night with some delicious Beijing roast duck for dinner. So yummy! The next morning, we woke up early to hike a section of the Great Wall of China at Badaling. Seeing this massive, ancientstone wall snaking along the mountain ridges was surreal. Our guide taught us about how it stretches over 13,000 miles across northern China! As we climbed up steep staircases, I imagined how difficult it must have been for the laborers to build this mammoth project so long ago. The views from the watchtowers overlooking the rugged mountains were just incredible. After our wall hike, we visited Olympic Park to see some cool sites from the 2008 Beijing Summer Games. We took photos outside the iconic Bird's Nest stadium and swam in the stunning Water Cube aquatic center. Those venues were so unique and modern compared to the old imperial sites we had seen. Beijing really is a city where the past meets the future. We finished our Beijing adventures by seeing a performance of the Chaoyang Acrobatic Show. The stunts, balancing acts, and choreography these performers did were mind-blowing! At one point, a dozen people were stacked on top of each other in a human tower. The moves they pulled off seemed to defy physics. It was the perfect show to end an amazing trip on.I have to say, Beijing completely blew me away. From walking in the footsteps of emperors in the Forbidden City, to hiking along the Great Wall, to seeing dazzling modern sights, this city is absolutely jam-packed with amazing experiences. Thehistory, culture, food, and wonderful people of Beijing left me in awe. I already cannot wait to go back and explore more of this endlessly fascinating place!篇3My Awesome Trip to BeijingLast summer, my family went on a really cool trip to Beijing, the capital of China! I was so excited because I had never been to a city that huge before. Beijing is one of the biggest cities in the world with over 21 million people living there. That's a lot of people! The first stop on our trip was Tian'anmen Square. It's this massive open square right in the middle of the city. We had to walk really far to get from one end to the other! My little legs were getting tired. The square is famous because it's where the Chinese government is located. There are also some important buildings and monuments there like the Gate of Heavenly Peace which has a giant painting of Mao Zedong on it. He was the founder of modern China.Next, we went to see the Forbidden City which was my favorite part. It used to be the palace where the emperors of China lived with their families and workers centuries ago. Noregular people were allowed inside, which is why it's called the Forbidden City. But now it's a museum that anyone can visit. It's absolutely huge with nearly 1,000 buildings and 9,000 rooms! We spent hours exploring the different halls, gardens, and corridors. There were lots of cool things to see like painted ceilings, carved wooden beams, and ancient pots and sculptures.I pretended I was a prince walking around my royal palace. On another day, we climbed a section of the Great Wall of China. Believe it or not, the entire wall is over 13,000 miles long! We obviously couldn't walk the whole thing. We took a bus to a restored part called Badaling. Even though we only walked a tiny section, it was really steep with tons of steps going up and down the mountainsides. My legs were sore after from all the climbing. But the views from the top were awesome! You could see the wall snaking over the hills and mountains for miles. The Great Wall was built over 2,000 years ago to protect China from invaders, which is pretty mind-blowing if you ask me.We did some shopping at markets around Beijing too. I loved looking at all the neat souvenirs like jade carvings, Chinese calligraphy brushes, traditional Beijing opera masks, and colorful kites. I bought a silk robe for dress up and a baseball cap with theBeijing 2008 Olympics logo on it. Mom and Dad promised I could get a few small things since it was a special trip. Our hotel was pretty fancy with a swimming pool on the roof.I could see the entire Beijing skyline while I was swimming which was so cool. At night, we would go up to the roof to look at all the bright lights and skyscrapers in the distance.Beijing is such an amazing place with a perfect mix of modern city and ancient history. I had an absolute blast exploring all the famous sights and trying new foods. I could go on and on about everything we did and saw, but I'll stop here. Just know that Beijing 100% deserves the nickname "Incredible Beijing!" I definitely want to go back again someday.篇4My Amazing Trip to Beijing!Last summer, my family took the most exciting trip ever – we went to Beijing, China! Beijing is the capital city of China and it is absolutely massive. I had learned a little bit about Beijing in school, but getting to see it with my own eyes was a million times better. Our journey began with a long flight from the United States.I had never been on a plane for that many hours before. It felt like an eternity! But the amazing airline staff kept us fed and entertained with movies and games. When we finally landed in Beijing, I could hardly contain my excitement. The first thing I noticed was the crowds of people everywhere. Beijing is home to over 21 million people! That's more people than my entire state back home. The streets were packed with cars, bikes, rickshaws, and people out walking. The noise of the bustling city was a bit overwhelming at first. We stayed in a huge hotel right in the heart of downtown Beijing. Our room had an incredible view overlooking the city's futuristic skyline. I had never seen so many tall, sleek skyscrapers clustered together. It looked like something out of a science fiction movie! One of the very first things we did was visit Tiananmen Square. This is one of the largest public squares in the entire world. It's so big that it can hold over 1 million people! Standing in that vast open space made me feel incredibly small. I learned that the square is over 100 acres and has seen many hugely important events in China's history over the centuries.Just next to the square is the incredible Forbidden City palace complex. This massive walled city within a city used to be home to Chinese emperors and their families and staff. It has nearly 1,000 buildings and covers an enormous area – over 180 acres!Walking through the various palaces, temples, gardens, and other buildings of the Forbidden City was like stepping back in time. So much of the traditional Chinese architecture and artwork was stunningly preserved. I loved seeing the intricate carvings, brilliant colors, and distinct Chinese styling everywhere I looked.Another day, we took an amazing tour outside of Beijing to one of the most famous sites in the world – the Great Wall of China! This massive wall winds along the hills and mountains for over 13,000 miles. It was first built over 2,000 years ago to help protect ancient Chinese empires from invaders. Our tour took us to a particularly scenic and well-preserved stretch of the Great Wall called Badaling. I couldn't believe how enormous the wall was up close. The stone fortifications towered dozens of feet high in places. And the switchbacking pathways along the steep mountain ridges looked endless in either direction.Climbing up that steep, stone-paved trail was definitely a workout! But the breathtaking views from the top were so worth it. Looking out over the ancient wall snaking through the lush green hills was an experience I'll never forget. One of my other favorite memories was visiting Beijing's old neighborhood areas called hutongs. These are old residential alleyways and courtyard homes that date back hundreds of years. Taking a rickshaw tour through the narrow winding streets felt like being transported to ancient China. The sights, smells, and sounds were all so unique. We saw lots of traditional shops, restaurants, markets, and people just going about their day-to-day lives in these old communities. I loved getting a first-hand glimpse of traditional Chinese culture and day-to-day living. We also got to do some amazing cultural activities like watching an incredible Chinese acrobat show and attending a class to learn Chinese calligraphy. The displays of human strength and flexibility from the acrobats were jaw-dropping. And learning to use the bamboo brushes to paint elegant Chinese characters was much harder than it looked!Towards the end of our stay, we went on a day trip to the lovely Summer Palace outside of Beijing. This was the lavishretreat of emperors and their families to escape the heat of the city during summer months. The palace complex stretches for miles along the shoreline of a huge beautiful lake.I loved strolling across the iconic 17-arch bridge and exploring the ornate temples, gardens, pavilions, and other buildings. The Summer Palace's natural scenery and traditional Chinese architecture blended together篇5My Amazing Trip to Beijing! This summer, my family and I went on the most incredible trip to Beijing, the capital city of China! I was so excited because I had learned all about Beijing in my Chinese language and culture class at school. I couldn't wait to see the famous sights with my own eyes. Our adventure began when we landed at the huge Beijing Capital International Airport. Everything looked so different from home - the signs were all in Chinese characters that I couldn't read yet. Luckily, my parents could speak some Mandarin to get us a taxi into the city center.Beijing is such an ancient city, with over 3,000 years of history! Our first stop was walking through the massive Tiananmen Square. I had seen pictures, but it was even more jaw-droppingly enormous in person. Apparently it's the biggest public square in the whole world! We took lots of family photos in front of the famous portrait of Chairman Mao Zedong hanging on the Forbidden City gate.Next, we went inside the Forbidden City itself. This was the imperial palace where China's emperors lived with their families for almost 500 years until 1911. The architecture was stunning, with bright red walls, yellow glazed roof tiles, and elaborate carvings of dragons everywhere. I loved exploring all the different halls, temples, libraries, and gardens within the complex. It felt like stepping back in time to ancient China! One of the coolest parts was watching the ceremonial guards march around in their fancy uniforms with big furry hats. My little brother thought they looked just like the terracotta warrior statues we saw at the museum from China's first emperor. We even got to see a traditional Chinese acrobatic show with tumblers, contortionists and high-wire walkers which wasmind-blowing.The next day, we took a bus out of the city to the iconic Great Wall of China. Hiking along the massive stone fortification up and down the steep hills was really tiring, but so worth it for the incredible views. The Great Wall stretched as far as the eye could see over the mountains, like a gigantic dragon's back undulating across the landscape. It was amazing to think that this marvel was built using just basic tools and human labor over 2,000 years ago. While walking the wall, I pretended I was a brave warrior protecting the empire from invaders. With my makeshift sword carved from a fallen branch, I was ready to defend every battlement and watchtower! Dad joked that with my endless supply of energy, I would have made a formidable foe for any ancient enemies of China. One evening, we attended an amazing Kung Fu stage show featuring incredible martial artists doing all sorts of incredibleaerial kicks, animal stances, and weapons displays. The sheer power, discipline and artistry of the performers left me in awe. I've started taking Kung Fu lessons myself so I can learn those epic moves! On our final day in Beijing, we visited the exquisite gardens and palaces within the Summer Palace, a former retreat foremperors away from the Forbidden City. Everything was so lush, tranquil and perfectly manicured. I felt like a member of the ancient royal family as we rowed a ornate wooden boat across the lovely Kunming Lake while musicians played traditional Chinese instruments on the shore. Our guide told us that originally the water was drawn up using just manpower to make the huge lake and gardens! Before leaving, I stocked up on last-minute souvenirs like miniature terracotta warrior statues, Chinese hand fans, opera masks, and beautiful silk embroideries. I even bought a cute stuffed panda bear to remember the amazing giant pandas I saw at the Beijing Zoo!Overall, visiting Beijing was a dream come true. I learned so much about China's incredibly rich history, arts, and customs. From the mouth-watering cuisine to the ornate palaces to the Kung Fu warriors, every moment was an adventure to be treasured. I feel so lucky to have experienced such an incredible Chinese cultural immersion at my young age. Beijing will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to return again someday on another exciting journey!篇6My Amazing Trip to BeijingWow, Beijing was so much fun! I went there with my family during the summer vacation. We had the best time exploring the city and learning about its rich history and culture. The first place we visited was the Forbidden City. It's a massive palace complex that used to be home to emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Walking through its huge gates felt like traveling back in time! The buildings were breathtakingly beautiful with their yellow tiles and intricate designs. I loved seeing the throne rooms where the emperors once ruled.Next, we went to the Summer Palace. It was built as a vacation retreat for the royal family, and you can see why they picked that spot! The gardens were stunning, with colorful flowers, bridges over shimmering lakes, and even a marble boat. My favorite part was climbing up the long corridor for an amazing view.Aside from the top sights, I had a blast exploring Beijing's vibrant neighborhoods. We strolled through the winding alleys of the hutong districts. It was fun peeking into the tiny courtyard homes to see how locals live. The street food was delicious too –I tried scorpion kebabs, stinky tofu, and candied strawberries ona stick. Yum!One evening we went to see an amazing acrobatic show. The performers were so flexible and skilled, bending their bodies in impossible ways. At one point, they stacked chairs incredibly high and did handstands at the very top. I held my breath the whole time! The grand finale involved motorized spinning plates and dancers leaping through tiny hoops. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen.I also got to experience the city's modern side at places like the Birds Nest stadium from the 2008 Olympics. Its intricate lattice design looks like a giant nest from the outside. Inside, the sports venues were massive and state-of-the-art. I dreamed of competing there as an athlete someday!Every night, we'd walk through Tiananmen Square to see the flag ceremony. Hundreds of people would gather to watch soldiers lowering the bright red Chinese flag at sunset. It was a powerful moment of patriotism and pride. The square is so iconic with its portrait of Mao Zedong and the gate leading to the Forbidden City.I have so many wonderful memories from this trip. Beijing blew me away with its perfect mix of ancient traditions and modern wonders. From climbing on the Great Wall to slurpingnoodles in a hutong alley, I experienced the very best this amazing city has to offer. I already can't wait to go back!。
