This is where Max's energy comes in handy as he zooms around, hanging from the monkey bars and playingtag or chase at full speed. She'll sometimes bring paper and crayons to draw outdoors too.Even their senses of humor are quite contrasting. He just lies around on my bed or the couch all day. I have to carry him everywhere I go since he can't walk.Another way they differ is that Buddy makes noise and Rufus doesn't. Buddy is always barking to greet people or let me knowwhen he wants to play. When he's really happy, he pants and wags his tail rapidly making a thump-thump-thump sound on the floor. Rufus is completely silent - I've never heard a peep out of him!Caring for Buddy requires a lot more work than caring for Rufus too. Every day I have to fill up Buddy's food and water bowls, let him outside to go potty, brush his fur, and play with him. Rufus doesn't need any of that stuff. I just have to make sure he's not getting too dusty from lying around. Sometimes I'll give him a little hug or rearrange him on my bed, but that's about it. Definitely less responsibility!When it comes to adventures, Buddy is more fun, but Rufus is safer. I love taking Buddy on walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park where he can socialize. He goes crazy whenever we go for a car ride, hanging his head out the window with his tongue flapping in the breeze. Rufus has to stay home though since he could get lost or ruined outside. I'm always afraid the rain could ruin his fur or that he might rip. I mostly just keep Rufus tucked safely inside where nothing can happen to him.There's one way that Rufus has an advantage over Buddy though - he never makes me mad! Sometimes when Buddydoesn't listen and chews on my favorite shoes or digs holes in the backyard, it makes me really upset. Rufus is basically perfect and never does anything naughty. The worst thing he does is get dusty and have to be cleaned off.Both Buddy and Rufus love to snuggle and keep me company. Buddy is great for cuddling on the couch and will snooze right up against me. Rufus lives to be my bedtime cuddle buddy and pillow. I've had so many nights of peaceful sleep hugging him tight. Buddy provides warmth with his furry body, while Rufus never gets too hot or smelly.One of their biggest similarities is how happy they make me feel inside.
