They were very strong and seldom went to see doctors. Now life is better, people eat more meat, fish, eggs and other food with more fat. They often go out for good meals with their families and friends. But they get easy to be ill, Why?I think more meat and fish, less exercise are bad for health. Interaction of infection and malnutrition is well-documented. Better nutrition means stronger immune systems, less illness and better health. Healthy children learn better. Better nutrition is a prime entry point to ending poverty and a milestone to achieving better quality of life.Freedom from hunger and malnutrition is a basic human right and their alleviation is a fundamental prerequisite for human and national development.WHO has traditionally focused on the vast magnitude of the many forms of nutritional deficiency, along with their associated mortality and morbidity in infants, young children and mothers. However, the world is also seeing a dramatic increase in other forms of malnutrition characterized by obesity and the long-termimplications of unbalanced dietary and lifestyle practices that result in chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes. All forms of malnutrition's broad spectrum are associated with significant morbidity, mortality, and economic costs, particularly in countries where both under- and overnutrition co-exist as is the case in developing countries undergoing rapid transition in nutrition and life-style.。
健康的重要性(HealthisMoreImportant)_高考英语作文

健康的重要性(Health is More Important)there are many people who think that wealth is better than health. i used to think so until one day i read a story about howard hughes. he was an american billionaire who got anything he wanted. however, in the last twenty years of his life, his health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. he had the best doctors and nurses. however, he could still find no relief. i realized that health is worth all the money in the world. if you have millions of dollars but your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do. so i would like to say don't hurt yourself trying to make money. instead take care of your body and be happy with what you do have. health is more important.which is more important, health or wealth? it is a hot topic among people. i can hardly answer this question. i didn't realize that health is more imporant until i saw a businessman's real life.a successful businessman, one of my father's friends, devoted himseff to his business. he works from morning to night every day. there is no weekends in his mind. he often says, "i must earn much money so that i can get what i want. "lately, he is ill. though he has a lot of money, he can do nothing but lie in the hospital's bed.so i think health is more important than wealth. people can do nothing if they are always in poor health, let alone happiness. no matter we are rich or not, we can not ignore the importance of health.。
一个健康的身体对于我们很重要英语作文

一个健康的身体对于我们很重要英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Healthy Body is Super Important!Being healthy is really, really important for all of us! Having a healthy body allows us to live our lives to the fullest and do all the things we love. When we're healthy, we have more energy to play sports, explore outside, and just have a ton of fun. But when we're not feeling well, it's really hard to enjoy our favorite activities.I think the first key to being healthy is eating good foods. My mom is always telling me to eat more fruits and vegetables because they are packed with vitamins and minerals that our bodies need. Fruits and veggies give us energy and help us grow big and strong. Some of my favorite healthy snacks are apples, carrots, oranges, and cherry tomatoes.Sugary snacks like cookies, candy, and soda don't have those good vitamins and minerals our bodies crave. They just have a bunch of sugar and other unhealthy ingredients that can make us feel sluggish and low on energy if we eat too much of them.Of course, an occasional treat is okay, but we should limit how many sugary foods we have.My teacher says drinking lots of water is also super important for having a healthy body. Our bodies are made up mostly of water, so we need to keep replenishing that supply by drinking enough every day. I always make sure to bring a water bottle to school. Staying hydrated gives me energy and helps me concentrate better in class.Another key part of being healthy is getting enough exercise and physical activity. When we exercise, it makes our hearts and lungs stronger while also building muscle. My favorite forms of exercise are playing soccer, riding my bike around the neighborhood, and going for hikes with my family on the weekends. I just love being outside and moving around!Getting enough sleep is healthy too. Our bodies need that rest time to recharge from the busy days of learning, playing, and growing. I know I always feel so much better when I get a full night's sleep compared to when I stay up too late. My parents make me go to bed at 8:30 pm every school night to ensure I get around 10 hours of sleep. It's also really important to take good care of our teeth and gums by brushing twice a day and flossing. Having a clean, healthy mouth will help us avoid cavities, gum disease, and other dental problems as we get older. My favorite toothpaste flavor is bubblegum! Finally, we need to take care of our minds and spirits too, not just our bodies. Doing things that reduce stress like reading, drawing, playing music, or just spending time with loved ones is so healthy for our overall wellbeing. I love coloring and painting after school to relax and use my creativity. A healthy mind lets us better handle life's challenges.I'm so lucky that my family, friends, and teachers care about me and want me to have a healthy body and life. They are always reminding me to make healthy choices about what I eat and drink, to stay active, to get enough sleep, and to do things that make my heart and mind happy.Making healthy decisions isn't always easy, but it's so worth it! The more we take care of ourselves through good nutrition, exercise, sleep and other healthy habits, the more energy we'll have. A healthy body lets us learn, grow, and live life to the absolute fullest by doing all the activities and things we love most. That's why having a healthy body is super, super important and amazing!篇2A Healthy Body is Really ImportantHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about why having a healthy body is so important. It's something all kids (and grown-ups too!) should think about.Having a healthy body means your body works properly and lets you do all the things you want and need to do. When you're healthy, you have lots of energy to play, learn at school, hang out with friends, and just enjoy life. But if you don't take care of your body, you can get sick or injured more easily. And that's no fun at all! There are a few key things we need to do to keep our bodies healthy. First, we have to eat good food. That means lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein like chicken or fish, and healthy fats like avocados or nuts. My mom always tells me to "eat the rainbow" by picking fruits and veggies of different colors. It's also important to drink plenty of water instead of sugary sodas or juice.Next, we need to move our bodies by getting regular exercise and playing actively. Exercise keeps our hearts, lungs, and muscles strong. It also helps us maintain a healthy weight, have more energy, and even do better in school! My favorite ways to exercise are riding my bike, swimming, playing soccer, and just running around the playground with my friends.Getting enough sleep is another must for a healthy body. When we sleep, our bodies recharge their batteries and repair any damage from the day. Not getting enough sleep can make you feel grumpy, have trouble concentrating, and even get sick more often. Most kids my age need 9-12 hours of sleep each night. One more thing that keeps our bodies healthy is limiting screen time and making time to relax. Too much TV, video games, phones, and computers isn't good because it keeps us seated for too long. We also need breaks from schoolwork and activities to let our minds and bodies rest.Of course, it's also crucial to practice good hygiene habits like bathing regularly, brushing our teeth, washing our hands, covering coughs and sneezes, and more. These help prevent us from spreading or catching yucky germs that could make us sick. There are so many amazing things our bodies can do when we take good care of them. We can run, jump, dance, sing, think, create, and explore the world around us. But our bodies need the right fuel and care to work at their best. When I take care of my body, I have the energy to play hard all day at recess, score goals in soccer games, and pay attention in class without getting fidgety or tired. I recover quickly from colds or small injuries. And I just feel happier and more comfortable in my own skin.On the other hand, when I don't eat well, skimp on sleep, or just lounge around too much, I don't feel my best at all. I get sluggish, grumpy, have trouble concentrating, and am more likely to get sick. Once I even sprained my ankle because my muscles were weak from not exercising! That was not fun.Taking care of our bodies should be a priority, but it doesn't have to be boring or hard. We can make healthy choices by finding fun ways to move, discovering nutritious foods we actually like, getting our families involved, and making self-care into a routine. Small steps build up over time.I hope I've convinced you that having a healthy body is super important, no matter your age. When we treat our bodies well, we're rewarded with lots of energy, strength, and the ability to live life to the fullest. We're also setting ourselves up for alifetime of good health. So let's all make taking care of our bodies a top priority. Our future selves will thank us!篇3A Healthy Body is Really Important for MeHi everyone! My name is Sam and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about why having a healthy body is so important, especially for kids like me. It's something that a lot of grown-ups talk about, but it's just as crucial for us little folks too!First off, what does it even mean to have a healthy body? Well, it means a few different things. It means eating good foods that give your body nutrients and energy to grow. It means getting plenty of exercise and physical activity to keep your muscles and bones strong. It also means getting enough sleep, drinking lots of water, and taking care of your mind too by doing things that make you happy.Having a healthy body helps your brain work better. You're able to concentrate more at school, remember things easily, and learn new skills faster when you take good care of yourself. I notice that when I eat a sugary breakfast or stay up too late, I feel really tired and have trouble focusing in class. But when I have abalanced meal and get 10 hours of sleep, my brain is firing on all cylinders!A healthy body also gives you more energy to play and have fun. I love running around the playground, riding my bike, and playing sports with my friends after school. If I wasn't eating right and exercising regularly, I'd be too pooped to participate in all those awesome activities. Being healthy lets me enjoy my childhood to the fullest! As you grow older, maintaining a healthy lifestyle becomes even more critical. Eating junk food, being lazy, and neglecting your wellbeing can lead to serious problems down the road like obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and other nasty illnesses. By practicing good habits now, you set yourself up for a long, vigorous life unburdened by those kinds of health issues. That's definitely the path I want to be on.Of course, it's not always easy to make healthy choices, especially for a kid. Junk food and video games are super tempting, and it can be tough to resist those unhealthy urges sometimes. My parents and teachers really emphasize how crucial it is to be mindful and think about the long-term impacts of what I put into my body and how I spend my time. Theyencourage me to see healthy decisions as an investment in my future self. One trick that helps me eat better is being involved in cooking and meal planning. My mom lets me pick out fruits and veggies at the grocery store and help prepare dinners. That makes me much more excited to eat the final product! I also recently joined my school's running club, so I have a built-in routine for exercise a few times a week surrounded by friends. Finding ways to make healthy living engaging and social, rather than a chore, goes a long way. It's also wise to start building habits around self-care and mental health. If you're stressed, anxious, or unhappy on the inside, it'll eventually start to impact your physical wellbeing too.I make sure to spend time every day doing activities that calm my mind like reading, playing with my dog, or just zoning out looking at the clouds. Having a positive outlook contributes hugely to your overall health. At the end of the day, think of your body like ahigh-performance sports car. If you don't give it premium fuel, get tune-ups, and do basic maintenance, it's not going to run right and will break down over time. Your body is the same way - it needs the right highquality inputs and care to operate at peakcondition throughout your whole life. It's the only body you've got, so you'd better treat it well!To summarize, having a healthy body means eating nutritious foods, exercising frequently, getting quality sleep, and taking care of your mental health. It allows you to grow, think clearly, have energy, avoid diseases, and live your absolute best life. It takes hard work and self-discipline for sure, but it's so worth it. You only get one body, so you've got to make the most of it while you can! Those are just my thoughts as a 10-year-old kid, but I really do believe maintaining a healthy lifestyle is incredibly important at every age. If you can start building good habits now and stick with them, you'll be unstoppable! Thanks for reading, and here's to a long, healthy, happy life for all of us.。
健康对我们青少年来说非常重要的英语作文

健康对我们青少年来说非常重要的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Health is Super Duper Important for Us Teenagers!Hi everyone! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about why being healthy is sooooo important, especially for us kids and teenagers. It's a really big deal!First of all, being healthy means you have a lot of energy and you feel good! When I eat nutritious foods like fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins, I have way more energy to run around the playground at recess. My body feels strong and I can keep up with my friends when we play tag or soccer. But when I eat a bunch of junk food like candy, chips, and soda, I feel sluggish and tired. No one wants to be the kid who can't keep up in gym class because they're out of energy!Eating healthy foods gives you vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber and other good stuff that your growing body needs. It's like fuel for your inner engine! My mom packs me a balanced lunch with a sandwich on whole wheat bread, carrot sticks, an apple, and a water bottle. I feel satisfied and ready to focus in class after eating a lunch like that.Being healthy also means getting enough exercise and physical activity. Experts recommend kids get at least 60 minutes of exercise every day! That may sound like a lot, but it's actually easier than you think. I play basketball in the driveway for an hour after school most days. Or sometimes I go for a bike ride around the neighborhood with my dad. On weekends, my family loves going on hikes in the park near our house. Moving your body every day makes your heart healthy and strong! It also helps keep your weight in a healthy range.Sleep is another crucial part of being healthy as a kid. I always feel soooo grumpy if I don't get around 10 hours of sleep. Your body repairs itself and builds energy when you sleep. That's why you'll feel totally out of it if you stay up too late watching TV or playing video games on a school night. I have a bedtime of 8:30 pm so I can wake up feeling refreshed and alert for school the next day.Drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated is key too. Our bodies are made up of tons of water, so we need to keep replenishing that supply. I always have a reusable water bottlewith me that I refill throughout the day. Sipping water makes my mind feel more awake instead of getting the afternoon sleepies.Maintaining good hygiene by bathing regularly and brushing your teeth twice a day for two minutes helps you stay healthy too. It prevents cavities, gum disease, and other yucky stuff. I try to make it a habit to brush in the morning after breakfast and before bed.Being active, eating nutritious foods, drinking water, getting enough sleep, and practicing good hygiene....do you see how all those healthy habits work together? They give you energy, keep your mind sharp for learning, fight off sickness, and help you grow into a strong teenager and adult. Taking care of your health NOW is an investment in your future! That brings me to another important point - being healthy in your youth can prevent major health issues when you're older. You could develop diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes or other scary stuff if you spend decades treating your body badly by eating terribly, smoking, and never exercising. Those nasty illnesses are no fun and can shorten your life! But by building healthy habits as a kid, you'll decrease your chances of becoming really sick later on.I get it, eating broccoli isn't as fun as having a candy bar. And running laps doesn't sound as entertaining as playing video games. But living a healthy lifestyle sets you up to feel your absolute best every single day. You'll have more energy, stamina, and brainpower to do all the rad things you love - whether that's sports, art, music, or just keeping up with your friends. Healthy kids become healthy teenagers, who go on to be healthy adults!Of course, developing healthy habits is hard if the adults in your life aren't supporting you or setting a good example themselves. Teachers and parents need to encourage kids to make nutritious food choices and get plenty of physical activity. Schools should offer healthy lunch options and have more gym class or after-school sports. At home, families can do fun active things together like hiking, biking, swimming, or even just going for walks around the neighborhood after dinner. So in conclusion, being healthy is super important for us kids and teenagers because it gives us energy, prevents sickness, keeps our bodies and brains developing properly, and sets us up for a long and healthy life. It's not that hard either - just eat your fruits and veggies, drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep and exercise, and maintain good hygiene. If we all work together and make health a priority, we can all grow up to be happy, healthyadults! What do you say, who wants to be my accountability buddy to stay fit and feel awesome?篇2Health is Super Duper Important for Us Teenagers!Hi friends! Today I want to talk to you about something that is really really important - our health! As teenagers, it's so crucial that we take good care of our bodies and minds. It might not seem like a big deal now, but trust me, being healthy will help us out a ton as we get older.First up, let's talk about why physical health matters so much. Our bodies are still growing and developing at our age. We need to give them the right foods, enough exercise, and plenty of rest to become big and strong. If we don't fuel ourselves properly, it can really mess us up down the road.Eating nutritious foods gives us energy to get through busy school days and activities. I'm talking fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean proteins, dairy and stuff like that. Too many chips, candy, soda and fast food will just make us feel sluggish and gross. Our parents are always nagging about this for good reason!Exercise is another key part of physical health. We should be doing something active for at least an hour every day, whether it's sports, dance, bike riding, or just running around outdoors. Regular exercise keeps our hearts healthy, builds stronger muscles and bones, and prevents us from gaining too much weight. It's also a great way to blow off steam from any stress or frustration we might feel. Finally, sleep is sooo important but so many of us don't get enough of it. Between homework, extracurriculars, screen time and hanging with friends, we tend to sacrifice sleep. But we really need like 9-10 hours each night for optimum health and brain development. When we're tired, we space out in class, lack motivation and can even get moody or depressed. Not cool!In addition to our physical health, we have to pay attention to our mental and emotional wellbeing too. The teenage years can be really difficult with all the changes happening to our bodies and brains, not to mention dealing with social pressures, bullying, anxiety about the future and self-esteem issues. A lot of us feel overstressed, sad or angry and don't know how to cope. That's why it's so important to practice self-care, like doing relaxing activities we enjoy. Reading, listening to music, spending time outdoors, expressing ourselves through art orwriting, and talking to trusted friends or family members can really help us manage difficult emotions in a positive way. Ifwe're really struggling, counseling is totally okay and nothing to be ashamed about. At the end of the day, we have to remember that our minds and bodies are intricately connected. If we neglect our physical health, it'll impact our mental state. And vice versa - a negative mindset can manifest into physical issues like lack of appetite, sleeping problems or illness. That's why a balanced, holistic approach is best. It's all about giving ourselves nutritious foods, sufficient exercise and rest, enriching activities and supportive relationships. That empowers us to show up as our best selves each day - energized, focused and feeling good! When we take care of our whole selves, we're able to truly thrive in all areas of our lives.I know, I know, this "health" stuff might not seem important or fun right now. But I promise if we create positive habits in our teenage years, we'll set ourselves up for future success. We'll have the physical and mental strength to pursue our dreams, enrich the world around us and live our absolute best lives. How awesome is that?!So let's make a pact, my friends, to prioritize our health together. We've got this! Let's stay active, well-nourished,well-rested and focused on self-care. Our teenage years are a key time to build a strong foundation for many more decades of vibrant health to come. The future is ours!篇3Health is Awesome and Super Duper Important for Teens!Hi everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you all about why being healthy is just the best thing ever, especially for us teens. Getting good health habits started early is so important and can help us stay strong, smart, and happy as we get older. Buckle up, because I've got a ton of reasons why health rocks!First up, being healthy means our bodies and brains work really well. When we exercise a lot by playing sports, riding our bikes, or just running around, it gets our hearts pumping and gives us tons of energy. Exercise is like fuel for our bodies! It also helps our muscles get bigger and stronger so we can play harder. My gym teacher says the healthier we are, the better we'll be able to pay attention in class and learn new things too. A healthy body equals a healthy brain!Eating lots of nutritious foods is another key to being fit. I'm talking fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean proteins like chicken or fish, and healthy fats from nuts or avocados. My mom packs me a super energizing lunch every day with things like a turkey sandwich on wheat bread, carrot sticks, an apple, and a cheese stick. I feel ready to conquer the world after chowing down! Junk foods with too much sugar, salt and bad fats can make us feel sluggish. No thank you!Getting enough sleep is also crucial for health. Doctors say kids my age need around 10 hours per night. Sleep is when our bodies recharge their batteries. If we don't get quality ZZZs, we'll be dragging through our days feeling grumpy and struggling to pay attention. Plus, not sleeping enough can make us more likely to get sick. Nobody wants that!Speaking of sickness, another big perk of being healthy is we don't get sick as often. I hate missing school and having to just lie around feeling crummy. When our immune systems are strong from eating right, exercising, and sleeping great, we can better fight off yucky germs that cause colds, flus and other illnesses. We teens have tons of activities and fun to take part in. Being healthy keeps us in the game! There are also major mental health benefits to living a healthy lifestyle. Getting our hearts pumping by moving around causes our brains to release happy chemicals called endorphins that reduce stress and put us in a better mood. I always feel like I can take on the world after a good workout or playing outside with my friends for hours. Plus, nutritious diets with foods like fatty fish that are high in omega-3s can help our moods too. On the flip side, eating too many sugary snacks can send our energy levels crashing and make us feel sad or anxious. If all those reasons weren't enough, being healthy also sets us kids up for success in the future. Keeping fit and active as we get older lowers our chances of developing serious health issues like heart disease, diabetes, and even some cancers. It can help us live longer lives too! I know I want to stick around and experience everything life has to offer. Plus, staying at a healthy weight and eating nutritious foods helps our self-confidence big time.Maintaining a balanced lifestyle with exercise, good nutrition, plenty of sleep, and taking care of our mental health is so, so important for us kids and teens. It helps us grow big, strong, and smart! When we feel our best, we're able to do our best in school, make friends, join clubs and teams, and just enjoy being kids.Being unhealthy can lead to all sorts of issues down the road that I don't even want to think about. You guys are never too young to start making your health a major priority. Take it from me - fitness is fun! Go outside and get moving by riding bikes, playing sports, or just running around being silly. Fuel up with nutritious foods that give you energy to keep going and going. Get plenty of sleep each night and listen to your body when it needs to rest. And don't forget to take breaks from homework or activities to decompress and give your brain a break too. Doing little things every day to take care of your physical and mental health adds up over time.In conclusion, I hope I've convinced all of you that getting into healthy habits now is just awesome sauce and so crucial for us kids. When we take good care of our minds and bodies, we're setting ourselves up to live our best lives full of energy, happiness, success and adventure. Here's to growing up healthy and being "tween" health champions!篇4Being Healthy is Really Really Important for Kids and Teens!Hi there! My name is Samantha and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about why being healthy is sooooo important, especially for us kids and teenagers.First of all, being healthy means having a strong body that can run, jump, play sports, and just having tons of energy for all the fun activities we love to do! Isn't it the best feeling when you can play soccer or basketball for hours without getting tired? That's because you're healthy and fit.But being healthy isn't just about the physical stuff. It's also really important for our minds and feelings too. Kids and teens who eat good nutritious foods and get enough sleep tend to feel happier, less stressed, and can concentrate way better in school. Wouldn't you rather feel cheerful and able to learn easily instead of being tired, cranky, and struggling to pay attention in class? I know I would! There are lots of ways we can stay healthy as kids and teens. One of the biggest is making sure we eat a balanced diet full of fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. Yeah, I know fruits and veggies aren't always the most exciting, but they give our bodies so many amazing vitamins and minerals to grow properly. And proteins like lean meats, eggs, beans, and nuts help build our muscles and give us long-lasting energy.Another key part of being healthy is getting regular physical activity and exercise. Experts recommend at least 60 minutes of activity per day for kids! That might sound like a lot, but it can be really fun stuff like playing sports, riding bikes, swimming, dancing, or just running around the playground. Exercise keeps our hearts healthy and makes us stronger. Plus, it's a great way to hang out with friends!Getting enough good sleep is also super duper important, especially when we're still growing. Kids between 6-12 years old need 9-12 hours of sleep each night! I know, crazy right? But that's because sleep is critical for things like muscle growth, repairing tissues, and just giving our bodies and brains a chance to recharge from the day. Lack of good sleep can make us grumpy, unfocused, and even sick more often.Speaking of getting sick, another big part of staying healthy is washing our hands frequently, covering coughs/sneezes, and doing other things to prevent catching or spreading illnesses. Things like colds, flu, and stomach bugs can spread really quickly between kids and make us miss school and fun activities. Nobody wants that!Lastly, it's so important for us kids and teens to also take care of our mental and emotional health. We can do this bymaking time for activities we enjoy like sports, art, music, reading, or hanging out with friends. It's also helpful to find healthy ways to manage stress, worries, or big feelings we might have. Things like exercise, meditation, journaling, or talking to a parent or counselor can make a huge difference. In the end, being healthy is a package deal - it means taking care of our bodies through nutrition and exercise, but also our minds and emotions too. When we do this, we have a way better chance at growing up strong, energized, happy, and able to make the most of our childhood and teen years. Doesn't that sound awesome? Those are my thoughts, but I want to hear from you too! How do you like to stay healthy and have fun at the same time? Let me know!篇5The Importance of Being Healthy for Us Young PeopleHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about why being healthy is super important, especially for us kids and teenagers. It's a really big deal that we shouldn't ignore!First of all, when you're healthy, you just feel better overall. Have you ever had a day when you felt tired, achy, and just blah? That's no fun at all! But when you take care of yourself and stay healthy, you'll have way more energy to play, learn, and enjoy life. You can run around outside, concentrate better in school, and simply feel happier. Being healthy gives you strength and stamina.Plus, staying healthy helps keep you from getting sick as much. All those colds, flus, and other illnesses that sometimes keep you home from school or activities? You're less likely to catch them if your body is in tip-top shape. And even if you do get sick sometimes, you'll probably recover faster when you're generally healthy. It's way better than being stuck in bed for weeks feeling miserable! As you get older into your teenage years, being healthy becomes even more crucial. That's when you really start growing into your adult body and mind. Eating nutritious foods, exercising regularly, and taking care of your mental health can really impact your development in positive ways during this important time of life. For example, the right nutrients help build strong bones and muscles as you're growing taller. Healthy habits like not smokingor drinking also protect your lungs, heart, and other organs that are maturing. Getting enough sleep and managing stress allows your brain to develop properly too. Overall, making your health a priority as a teen sets you up for a healthier adulthood down the road. Now, you might be wondering - what exactly does it mean to be "healthy" anyway? Well, it's not just about exercising a bunch or never eating any candy (although those things do help!). Being truly healthy means taking care of your entire self - body and mind. For the body part, it's important to eat a balanced diet full of fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, and other good stuff. Drink lots of water instead of sugary beverages. Get plenty of physical activity through sports, playing outside, or just walking more instead of sitting all day. And make sure to get enough sleep each night - us kids need 9-12 hours! Then there's taking care of your mental and emotional health, which is just as crucial. Manage stress through relaxing activities like reading, playing music, or hanging out with friends. Talk to parents or trusted adults about problems you're facing. Find productive ways to cope with difficult emotions. Develop positive self-esteem and confidence in yourself.By focusing on your total mind-body wellness as a kid or teen, you'll keep yourself healthy now and build habits for lifelong health as an adult. How awesome is that?I know, I know - making healthy choices isn't always easy, especially with so many temptations around like junk food, video games, and toxic social media. But it's a skill you can learn and get better at over time. Start with small steps, like drinking more water each day or going for a nightly walk with your family. Those little things add up!Your health is one of the most precious things you have as a young person. By taking care of your body and mind now, you'll be able to live your absolute best life full of energy, happiness, and opportunity. What could be better than that?So there you have it - why health matters SO much for kids and teens like us. The habits you build now will stick with you forever. Making nutritious choices, staying active, getting enough sleep, and tending to your mental wellbeing add up to a fitter, healthier, and all-around happier you! Let's all work together to make healthy living a priority. Your future self will thank you!篇6Health is Super Duper Important for Us Teenagers!Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about why being healthy is sooooo important, especially for us kids and teenagers. It's something all grown-ups have told me over and over again, but I never really understood why until recently. Now I get it - health is the best wealth we can have!Being healthy means our bodies and minds are working properly and feeling good. It means we have lots of energy to play, study, spend time with friends and family, and do all the fun things we love. Whenever I'm sick with a cold or tummy ache, I can't enjoy my day as much. I feel tired, cranky, and miss out on activities. No fun at all! That's why staying healthy is the way to go.There are lots of ways to keep our health in tip-top shape. One of the most important things is eating good, nutritious food. You know, fruits, veggies, proteins, dairy, and whole grains. That stuff gives our bodies and brains all the vitamins, minerals and energy they need to grow up big and strong. Too much junk food like chips, candy, and soda can make us feel sluggish and gain weight, which isn't healthy. My parents are always nagging me about this, but they're right! The other day I ate a huge bowl of ice cream before gymnastics practice. I felt so full and queasy that I could barely tumble across the mat. From now on, I'll stick to healthier snacks like apple slices with peanut butter, yogurt with granola, or a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread. Yum!Exercise is another key part of being healthy. Getting active by playing sports, dancing, swimming, hiking, or riding bikes gets our hearts pumping. It keeps our muscles and bones strong while burning off extra energy so we can fall asleep easily at night. Personally, I love scoring goals during soccer games and performing fancy flips at gymnastics. It makes me feel accomplished and proud of what my body can do.I have some friends who don't make time for exercise because they're glued to their video games and phones. But being a couch potato isn't good for anybody! We need a mix of active and restful activities each day to stay balanced. Too much screen time can also strain our eyes and mess up our sleeping patterns over time.Speaking of sleep, getting enough corky shuteye is crucial too. When I stay up late bingeing TV shows or movies, I feel like a cranky zombie the next day. I can't concentrate on myschoolwork or activities and find myself taking grumpy naps in the middle of the day. Building healthy habits like easing into bedtime with a bath, book, and no screens helps my body and mind recharge fully. I wake up energized and ready to take on the world! There are a few other biggies when it comes to awesome health: drinking plenty of water, maintaining good hygiene by bathing and brushing teeth, getting medical check-ups, and keeping negative thoughts or stress at bay. If we take care of ourselves mentally and physically, we spare ourselves a whole lot of health problems down the road. Why is this all so important anyway? Well, being unhealthy with issues like obesity, anxiety, illnesses and injuries could really mess up our lives as teenagers and adults. It's a lot harder to learn, play sports, make friends, get good jobs, or just feel our best if we're sick or struggling. Following healthy habits sets us up for success! The teenage years in particular are a crucial time when our bodies and brains are developing rapidly. We need to nourish ourselves with the right foods, activities and mindsets so we can grow into our full potential. If we slack off on taking care of ourhealth, we might stunt that growth or pick up harmful habits that are tough to break later.Plus, cultivating healthy behaviors now creates a solid foundation for the rest of our adult lives. It's way easier to continue eating nutritiously, exercising, and taking care of our mental health if we've practiced those skills already. We're actually building life-long happiness for our future selves! How cool is that?At the end of the day, making health a priority gives us the energy, strength and motivation to pursue our passions and dreams. If a kid wants to become a professional ballerina one day, she'll need a finely tuned, fit body to pull off all those plies and pirouettes. If a teenager has his sights set on being a Math whiz, he'll need a sharp, well-rested mind to tackle complex equations and excel in class. Healthy is the way we can live our very best lives! So there you have it - being healthy ROCKS and is something we should all work towards, no matter our age. It's never too early to start developing smart, sustainable habits that will make us happier and more awesome as we grow up. We have the power to build incredible lives by paying attention to what ourbodies and minds need each day. Let's get started and make health our NUMBER ONE priority from now until forever!。

Health Is More Important(健康更重要)-高中英语作文-_450字
Health Is More Important
There are many people who think that wealth is better than health. I used to think so until one day I read a story about Howard Hughes. He was an American billionaire who got everything he wanted. However in the last twenty years of his lifehis health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. He had the best doctors and nurses. However he could still find no relief.
I realized that health is worth all the money in the world. If you have millions of dollars but your health is poor you will not be able to do what you want to do. So I would like to say don\'t hurt yourself and try to make money.Instead take care of your body and be happy at what you do. Health is more important.
健康更重要
很多人都认为财富比健康更重要。
在读到Howard Hughes的故事之前,我也是这么认为的。
Howard Hughes
