(五)熟记习惯用语和常见句型 文章中的一些选项是通过习惯用法、词语搭配和常见句型来进行选择的, 因此考生要注意积累相关用法,结合语境灵活使用。如: By bad luck,my purse strap(带子)got 3 on a chair and the tray(托盘)that I was holding slipped from my hands and went flying in the air. A.fixed B.caught C.cut D.tied 答案 B 根据语境可知“我”的钱包带子被一把椅子钩住了。get caught on为固定短语,意为“被……钩住”,故选择B项。
(四)利用复现词汇或近义词 在阅读文章的过程中会发现一些与选项联系紧密的词汇,因此要合理利用 这些词汇并结合语境进行判断。如: The first time I saw Suzy Khan,I knew I had to help her.She was really small for her age of 12...I looked down at this 3 girl and promised myself that somehow I would help her. A.rich B.proud C.tiny D.popular 答案 C 根据前文的“She was really small for her age of 12.”中的 “small”可以判断空格处应选择C项,tiny极小的,微小的。 So 17 and heart-broken,she didn’t go any further. 描述为议论打基础(埋下伏笔:What’s in the picture? What’s going on in the picture? 与下文阐述产生关联性),议论的基础是描述的内容,否则议论就是无源之水。

关注谋篇布局的整体把握,形成语篇的连贯性。

描述和阐述是一个有机的整体。
