单元教学设计框架课题：4A Unit 10 Around my home一、学情分析本单元教学对象为四年级的学生，这个年龄段的孩子对周围的环境充满好奇，喜欢用英语表达与自己生活相关的话题。
经过三年的英语学习，学生已经具备了一定的描述与本单元Around my home话题相关的地点、活动、个人喜好等内容的语言基础和表达能力。
二、教材分析本单元话题是Around my home,谈论的是家所在的位置和周边的公共场所，教材设计通过阅读地图，互相询问等方式让学生感知理解核心词汇restaurant,park, supermarket和核心句型Is there/Are there any...near your home?，Yes, there is/are./No, there isn’t/aren’t，通过篇章阅读让学生复习和巩固There be句型，学会描述街区环境。
本单元是Module 4 The world around us中的第一个单元，学习内容与上一模块Places and activities息息相关，上一模块学习过的There be句型和与地点、位置、活动、功能等相关的语言都能在本单元中复现。
三、单元设计思路和依据依据新课标倡导的整体设计目标，充分考虑语言学习的渐近性和持续性以及强调学习过程，重视语言的实践性和应用性的课程基本理念，本单元的设计以话题为导向，以任务驱动教学，让学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言并在此基础上学习和运用语言。
在Miss Fang的课堂上，同学们讨论了各自的居住环境，来自北京的Mary 同学给我们介绍了北京最著名的王府井步行街，从而引起了同学们对不同居住环境的讨论，于是Miss Fang安排同学们对各自居住的社区进行调查，了解现状，找出需要改进的地方。
最后，同学们在讨论后描绘出理想社区的蓝图。
