本模块主要讨论的是参加国外的暑期英语课程，这是一个比较有争议而且受地域限制的话题。此话题对于我们农村的学生来说可能比较陌生，所以可以通过报刊、杂志、网络等多种学习资源位学生提供背景知识，开阔学生的视野。本课时的课文是关于洛杉矶暑期英语课程的宣传，课文分别从课程、师资、住宿和活动等几方面进行宣传，语言具有说服力和感染力。

课后反思
虽然教学进度还没赶到，但是听课以后我按照自己的教学设计对本单元进行了讲授：
1由于在第一单元学习的基础上，学生对洛杉矶有了一定的了解和认识，加上本单元的话题是关于暑假英语学习班方面的，尤其是到国外学习英语和体验西方文化生活，学生都比较感兴趣，结合语法知识和课程班话题而设计的练习，全班学生做得比较理想，四会词汇掌握很快，.而且能够写出自己的想法，实现了预定的教学目标。
