学习者分析:
初一学生具备了英语、信息这两门学科的基础知识;他们好奇心强且思维活跃,有一定的逻辑分析能力和英语表达能力;他们也具备了利用网络、图书馆查找并筛选资料的能力和制作多媒体演示文稿的能力;他们参与学习活动的积极性高,表现欲强。
但是,他们欠缺较强的分析判断问题的能力和较强的组织、编辑资料的能力;对于活动主题,部分学生在兴趣的驱动下,尚能积极主动地完成任务,还有部分学生对地理不感兴趣或因为难于融入小组活动而消极对待任务,这将影响研究性学习的开展。
教学重难点分析:
1教学重点:了解主阅读篇章的结构﹑关键信息以及核心词汇。
2教学难点:根据图片﹑关键词及重点句式复述主阅读篇章。
教学过程设计:
I Reading: read a poster about the Earth
1. Read the title and know the meanings of the new words “poster” and “earth.”
2. Pre-reading:
(1) Insect the cartoon, let students to guess what is the reading probably talking about?
It probably talks about the Earth.
(2) Introduce a good friend who is an expert on science. He will teach students some knowledge about the Earth, stars, moon, and sun.
We live in the Earth.
Earth is our home.
About 70% of the Earth is covered by water.
There are 9 planets in the solar system.
They are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
When we look at the sky, we can see billions of stars in the sky.
We can’t see all with our own eyes. But we can use telescope to see.
We only see 3000 stars with our eyes.
It is difficult to know all the stars.
But the stars appear in groups. It helps us .Remember them easily.
They are very beautiful and magic.
Moon is 380.000 far from the Earth.
The sun rises from the East, falls down from the west. The moon moves around the Earth. The earth moves around the sun.
(3) Know more about the Earth (stars, moon, and sun) Look at the photo and write the correct words in the blanks. Pay attention: proper noun uses capital
(4) Discuss some questions about the Earth.
(5) Perdition: look at the photos and the title to predate some important message about this passage.
(6) Brain storm to know more about the living things on Earth.
