日本作家渡边淳一多年来一直被誉为情爱小说大师。
但是他的本行却是一名医生。
1970年，渡边淳一所在大学的附属医院进行了日本第一例心脏移植手术。
当时35岁的渡边怀疑被摘除心脏的那位患者并没有真正的脑死亡。
是站在黑影里仗义执言，还是蜷在墙角默不作声？现在想来，渡边一定经过了巨大的内心挣扎。
