国旗小知识:中国的国旗是五星红旗,美国的国旗是星条旗,英国的国旗是米 字旗,日本的国旗是太阳旗,加拿大的国旗是枫叶旗。

单元教学重点

1. Warm-up.
这节课的教学内容是询问和回答国籍,教师上课时可先询问些学生感兴趣的外 国文化,比如:同学们,我们已经学习一段时间英语了,大家谁知道哪些国 家的人说英语呀?这些国家都分别在什么洲?同学们知道它们的国旗图案吗? 你们中有谁去过这些国家呢?对于这些国家,你们都知道些什么呢?
这样的开头,有利于将学生兴趣吸引到本节课所学内容。
( 2)每组两人用What’ s your favourite food?My favourite food is... 进行问答对话。然后根据同伴的回答,填写在表格中相应的位置。有能力的 学生亦可自行扩充内容,如Favourite lesson等。 (3)让学生在世界地图上找出中国、美国、意大利、马来西亚,看看这四个 国家的距离,哪个国家离中国最远,哪个国家离中国最近,并说出这几个国 家的人分别喜欢吃什么食物(这项活动也可留作课外作业,以便学生有充足 的时间和资料、设备等)。
