把C移近导体A时,A、B上的金属箔片都张开B.把C移近导体A,先把A、B分开,然后移去C,A、B上的金属箔片仍张开C.先把C移走,再把A、B分开,A、B上的金属箔片仍张开D. 沿虚线d切开,A带负电,B带正电,且Q A>Q BB.只有沿虚线b切开,才有A带正电,B带负电,且Q A=Q BC.沿虚线a切开,A带正电,B带负电,且Q A<Q BD. 有两个完全相同的绝缘金属球A 、B ,A 球所带电荷量为q ,B 球所带电荷量为-q ,现要使A 、B 所带电荷量都为-q 4,应该怎么办?11. 例2有三个完全一样的金属球A 、B 、C ,A 球带的电荷量为7Q ,B 球带的电荷量为-Q ,C 球不带电,将A 、B 两球固定,然后让C 球先跟A 球接触,再跟B 球接触,最后移去C 球,则A 、B 球间的作用力变为原来的多少倍? 则()A.q1=2q2B.q1=4q2C.q1=-2q2D.q1=-4q2四、静电力作用下的平衡问题1.

Each passage is followed by several questions or unfinished statements. For each of them there are four choices marked A, B, C and D. Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have just read.(A)① The past year, which is fast becoming just a memory, is the year I drove through the car wash at fifty miles an hour. At least, it felt like fifty miles an hour.②That day I followed the attendant’s instructions, drove to one of those do-it-yourself car washes. I forgot that my car was a bit moody. I’d been mean ing to have it checked, but it didn’t happen often enough to rush me to the garage. Anyway, then unexpectedly, suddenly we picked up speed before the astonished eyes of the attendant. The car shot through the wash cycle, the wax(蜡)cycle, and the dry cycle at a ridiculous rate of speed, and then aimed for the street at the end of the tunnel. We shot through the tunnel with what seemed like the speed of sound and rushed out into the street while I was relieved to see that no cars were approaching. The water and the wax had not yet dried — the car looked as if it had caught some terrible disease.③―What happened then?‖ Bobbie asked after I had told my family the story at an evening meal.④―Nothing,‖ I said.⑤―Didn’t you go back to the car wash?‖⑥―Of course not,‖ I replied.⑦―I don’t blame you,‖ Peter said. ―They might have arrested you for s peeding in a car wash.‖⑧We all laughed. It was a nice moment. We were relaxing after the dishes had been taken away, the pleasant smell of coffee filling the air. We had been talking about the past year and, without pausing to think of the possible consequences, I had told them about my experience with the car wash.⑨ The story delighted the children — who are no longer children. Peter and Bobbie are married, in fact, and I realized I had given them a sort of philosophy of life for the future. I could imagine them, years from now, when they gather together and one of themwill say, ―Remember the time Dad drove through that car wash …?‖⑩ Other things happened last year, too, because each year has its events, the good and the bad, the sweet and the sorrowful, the ordinary and the terrific. The milestones and the small incidents stand side by side, fundamentally different in quality or kind, perhaps, but making a sweet kind of harmony.66. It’s because they all wear locator tags that are part of a wireless system that tracks their movements on the floor. ―You can even tell when they are walking down the hallway.‖ says James Hattori. This system made by Hill-Rom uses infrared(红外线的)signals to detect when nurses enter a room to answer a call. The Hill-Rom devices look like a mini computer mouse. Some hospitals are putting them in nurses’kitchens. Staff can talk and listen through a wall unit to nurses or even to patients in other rooms. ―We can put the time we were spending hunting staff down, trying to find and locate them to much better use,‖ says a staff member from Seton. Hill-Rom says it has systems installed in more than 850 U.S. hospitals. Some nurses worry that the devices will be used to listen in on conversations and scrutinize their movements. ―I’m not wearing mine. I will still meet my patient’s needs but I will not wear this badge.‖ Annette Beard en is among dozens of nurses at Eden Medical Center who staged an active protest two months ago and hid their badges though they were later recovered. ―You know it makes me not feel like a professional. It makes me feel like that someone has to watch me to make sure I am doing my job.‖ ―The biggest reason we installed this technology is because our old call system is about 25 years old,‖ says a hospital manager. For hospitals this is a case of technology allowing, perhaps forcing people to better make use of their time. Officials at Eden don’t deny they monitor how long it takes nurses to respond to calls but say their main concern is patient care. ―I think it is one tool that we can use in measuring overall performance but by itself it is not a valid disci plinary tool,‖ says an Eden spokesperson.Eden is expanding its system with hopes the nurse will eventually accept the new technology, but back at Seton where it’s been in place for about two years, there is no uneasiness. ―Once the staff actually find out how advantageous it can be for them and the patients, well, actually it became very popular.‖In Castro Valley, California, the Eden Medical Center spent almost three hundred thousand dollars to install the Hill-Rom systems on two floors. Eden hopes to get more of the systems for other floors.73. Why is it easy to find a nurse at Seton Medical Center?A. The nurses are on television.B. The nurses wear locator badges.C. Every patient has his/her own nurse.D. Each room has a telephone.74. How can the staff talk to their patients when they are not in the same room?A. With hand signals.B. Through microphones in the pocket.C. Through a wall unit.D. With infrared signals on the doors.75. According to the passage, the underlined word ―scrutinize‖ (paragraph 3) probablymeans _______.A. watch closelyB. see insideC. scan word by wordD. make right76. How did the nurses at Eden Medical Center react to the badges?A. The nurses really liked the badges.B. They threw the locator badges away.C. They refused to work.D. They protested and concealed the badges.77. According to the administrators of the hospital, Eden Medical Center, the applicationof the Hill-Rom devices mainly aims at _______.A. introducing modern technologyB. adding a tool for disciplineC. replacing the old call systemD. improving the service for patientsSection CDirections: Read the passage carefully. Then answer the questions or complete the statements in the fewest possible words. It was early in the afternoon of May 10, 1996. I hadn’t slept in 57 hours. The only food I had been able to force down over the proceeding three days was a bowel of soup. Weeks of violent coughing had made ordinary breathing a bitter process. At 29,028 feet up in the troposphere(气体对流), so little oxygen was reaching my brain that my mental capacity was that of a slow child. Under the circumstances, I was incapable of feeling much of anything except cold and tired.I’d arrived on the summit a few minutes after Anatoli Boukreev, a Russian climbing guide working for an American commercial expedition, and just ahead of Andy Harris, a guide on the New Zealand-based team to which I belonged. Although I just met Boukreev, I had come to know and like Harris well during the proceeding six weeks. I snapped four quick photos of Harris and Boukreev striking summit poses, then turned and headed down. My watch read 1:17 p.m. I’d spent less than five minutes on the roof of the world.A moment later, I paused to take another photo, this one looking down the Southeast Eidge, the route we had chosen to go up. Training my lens(镜头)on a pair of climbers approaching the summit, I noticed something that until that moment had escaped my attention. To the south, where the sky had been perfectly clear just an hour earlier, a blanket of clouds now hid the peaks surrounding Everest. Later, after six bodies had been located, after a search for two others had been abandoned, after surgeons had removed the rotten right hand of my teammate Beck Weathers, people would ask why, if the weather had begun to worsen, had climbers on the upper mountain not observed the signs? Why did experienced Himalayan guides keep moving upward, leading a gang of relatively inexperienced amateurs — each of whom had paid as much as $65,000 to be taken safely up Everest — into an apparent death trap?Nobody can speak for the leaders of the two guided groups involved, because bothmen are dead. But I can assure that nothing I saw early on the afternoon of May 10th suggested that a murderous storm was bearing down. To my oxygen-exhausted mind, the clouds drifting up the grand valley of ice known as the Western Cwm(西库姆冰斗)looked so friendly and innocent in the brilliant midday sun, not different from the harmless puffs(喷烟)that rose from the valley almost every afternoon. As I began my descent I was extremely anxious, but my concern had little to do with the weather: a check of the meter on my oxygen tank had revealed that it was almost empty. I needed to get down, fast.(Note: Answer the questions or complete the statements in NO MORE THAN EIGHT WORDS.)78. Where were the three climbers mentioned in the second paragraph from?______________________________________________________________________79. Besides the change of the weather, what else led to the expedition team’s falling intoa death trap?_______________________________________________________________________ 80. The underlined phrase ―the harmless puffs‖ in paragraph 4 refers to ______________ _______________________________________________________________________.81. The author spent less than five minutes on the roof of the world and climbed down fastbecause _______________________________________________________________. Now Tom, you went to university in Canada?M:Yeah, that's right.W:OK, and you have very strong views about universities in Canada. Could you please explain?M:Well, we don't have private universities in Canada. They're all public. All the universities are owned by n the government, so there is the Ministry of Education in charge of creating the curriculum for the universities and so there is not much room f or flexibility. Since it’s a government operated institution, things don’t move very efficiently.W:Oh, it's really beyond my expectation.M:Yes, however, there are certain advantages of public universities, such as the fees being free. You don’t have to pay for your education. But the system isn't efficient, and it does not work that well.W:Yeah, I can see your point. But in the United States we have many private universities, and I think there are a lot of rules also. Maybe people don't act that much differently, because it's the same thing working for a private university. They get paid for their job. I don't know if they're that much more motivated to help people. Also, we have a problem in the United States that usually only wealthy kids go to the best schools, and it's kind of a problem actually.M:I agree with you. I think it's a problem because you’re not giving equal access to education to everybody. It's not easy, but having only public universities also might not be the best solution. Perhaps we can learn from Japan where they have a system of private and public universities. Now,in Japan, public universities are considered to be the best.W:Right. It's the exact opposite in the United States.M: So, as you see,it’s very hard to say which one is better.W:Right, a good point. .Questions17. What does the woman want Tom to talk about?18. What does the man say about the curriculum in Canadian universities?19. On what point do the speakers agree?20. What conclusion does the man draw at the end of the conversation?Questions 17through 20 are based on the following conversation.M: Hello, Professor Jones.W: Hello, Tony. So what shall we work on today?M: Well, the problem is that this writing assignment isn’t coming out right. What I thought I was writing on was to talk about what a particular sport means to me—one I take part in.W: What sport did you choose?M: I decided to write about cross-country skiing.W: What are you going to say about skiing?M: That’s the problem. I thought I would write about how peaceful it is to be out in the country.W: So why is that a problem?M: As I start describing how quiet it is to be out in the woods, I keep mentioning how much effort it takes to keep going. Cross-country skiing isn’t as easy as some people think. It takes a lot of energy. But that’s not part of my paper, so I guess I should leave it out. But now I don’t know how to explain that feeling of peacefulness without explaining how hard you have to work for it. It all fits together. It’s not like just sitting down somewhere and watching the clouds rolling by. That’s different.W: Then you’ll have to include that in your point. The peacefulness of cross-country skiing is the kind you earn by effort. Why leave that out? Part of your point you knew beforehand, but part you discovered as you wrote. That’s common, right?M: Yeah, I guess so...(Listen again, please)Questions17. What is the topic of the man’s writing assignment?18. What problem does the man have while working on his paper?19.

通常只能用that的情况1)当先行词是不定代词a11,few,little,much,something,anything,nothing,everything 等时。

2)先行词被序数词、形容词的最高级以及被a11,any,every,each,few,little,no,some,the only.the very.the last等修饰时。

Without friendship, one can't be happy although he is rich enough. As for me, I will never forget the days __ I spent with my dearest friend. [哈尔滨市]A. thatB. whenC. who[答案]A。

[解析]在定语从句中,引导词who(指人)which(指物)that(指人或物)。

Many young people love the songs _________have great lyrics. [成都市]A. whoB. thoseC. which[答案]C。

定语从句的引导词有which,who,where,that,故排除B,who指人,又排除了A,先行词是物,故选C。

二、考查以who,whom与whose引导的定语从句(1)如果先行词是指人的不定代词anyone,anybody,everyone,everybody,someone,somebody,nobody,one,ones,those,all(指人)等作先行词,作主语用who,作宾语用whom。

And in June, he wore a pair of socks with the pattern of maple leaves – a national symbol of Canada – when he appeared on a TV show. The New York Times’ editor Vanessa Friedman praised Trudeau’s play on his socks as “clever”. “Socks are subtle(微妙的) enough not to be distracting, but visible enough that you can’t miss the point,” she wrote. “Rarely have a man’s ankles said so much.” But not all the playful socks that Trudeau wears send some kind of political message – some of them are just for fun.One example is a pair he wore during a meeting with Enda Kenny, then the prime minister of Ireland, in Montreal on May 4. During their meeting, Trudeau wore Star Wars socks – simply because that day happened to be International Star Wars Day. If this pair of socks sent out any message, according to V ogue magazine reporter Emily Farra, that message was “just that he has a quirky side and loves George Lucas films,” she wrote. However, some say that 45-year-old Trudeau’s unusual sock choices show a childish side of the prime minister that proves he isn’t mature enough to be the leader of a country. But Friedman doesn’t see it that way. “The socks have been a source of pride and applause on an international scale – a symbol both of Mr Trudeau’s ability to embrace multiculturalism and of his position as a next-generation leader not bound by old traditions,” she wrote. “They have opened up possibilities for the future.”1.Trudeau wore a pair of socks with the pattern of maple leaves to _______A.distract audience’s attention from the TV showsB.send a message that he is proud of his countryC.narrow the gap between politician and civiliansD.claim that he is the new-generation leader of the country2.The underlined word “quirky” is closest in meaning to _______A.abnormalB.seriousC.enthusiasticD.odd3.According to Friedman, Justin Trudeau _______A.has a promising future but still an inexperienced politicianed a clever way to explore and finally discovered a goldmineC.is open-minded and is ready to accept different culturesD.is a leader who has abandoned old traditions to build up his future4.The article is mainly about _______A.the strange hobby of a young politicianB. a young leader’s clever choice of socksC.how male politicians maintain public imageD.the gender difference in modern politicians。

For each of them there are four choices marked A, B, C and D. Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have read.(A)By the time the Montgomery Improvement Association chose the 26-year-old Martin Luther King Jr. as its leader, the hours-old bus boycott(抵制)by the black citizens of Montgomery, Alabama, was already an overwhelming success. King would later write that his unanticipated call to leadership "happened so quickly that I did not have time to think in through." "It is probable that if I had, I would have declined the nomination."Although press reports at the time focused on his inspiring speech, King was actually a reluctant leader of a movement initiated by others. His succeeding writings and private letters reveal a man whose inner doubts sharply contrast with his public personality. In the early days of his involvement,King was troubled by telephone threats, disagreement within the black community and Montgomery’s "get tough" policy, to which King attributed his jailing on a minor traffic violation. One night, as he considered ways to "move out of the picture without appearing a coward," he began to pray aloud and, at that moment, "experienced the presence of the God as I had never experienced Him before."He would later admit that when the boycott began, he was not yet firmly committed to Gandhian principles. Although he had been exposed to those teachings in college, he had remained skeptical. "I thought the only way we could solve our problem of segregation was an armed rebellion," he recalled. "I felt that the Christian ethic of love was confined to individual relationships."Only after his home was bombed in late January did king reconsider his views on violence. (At the time, he was seeking a gun permit and was protected by armed bodyguards.) Competing with each other to influence King were two passionate pacifists: Bayard Rustin, a black activist with the War Resisters League, and the Rev. Glenn E. Smiley, a white staff member of the Fellowship of Reconciliation. Rustin was shocked to discover a gun in King’s house, while Smiley informed fellow pacifists that King’s home was "an arsenal."66. What did King think of his nomination as leader of the Montgomery Boycott?A. He hadn’t expected it.B. He had to think about it carefully.C. He would refuse to accept it.D. He was prepared to accept it.67. Why was King unwilling to lead the movement at first?A. Because he doubted if the boycott would be successful.B. Because he was troubled with a traffic accident at that time.C. Because he thought he was too young to be a leader.D. Because he himself didn’t start the boycott.68. Which of the following is not mentioned as something that happened at the beginning of theblack people’smovement?A. King was put into prison.B. Black people disagreed with each other.C. Which of the following was the immediate cause that made King change his view on violence?A. The education he received in college.B. The attack of his home.C. The influence of two active non-violence advocates.D. The judgment of the Supreme Court.(B)Consumers are being confused and misled by the hodge-podge (大杂烩) of environmental claims made by household products, according to a ―green labeling‖study published by Consumers International Friday .Among the report’s more outrageous findings,a German fertilizer described itself as ―earthworm friendly‖,a brand of flour said it was ―non-polluting‖and a British toilet paper claimed to be ―environmentally friendlier‖.The study was written and researched by Britain’s National Consumer Council (NCC) for lobby group Consumer International. It was funded by the German and Dutch governments and the European Commission.―While many good and useful claims are being made , it is clear there is a long way to go inensuring shoppers are adequately informed about the environmental impact of products they buy,‖said Consumers International director Anna Fielder. The 10-country study surveyed product packaging in Britain, western Europe, Scandinavia and the United States. It found that products sold in Germany and the United Kingdom made the most environmental claims on average. The report focused on claims made by specific products , such as detergent (洗涤剂), insect sprays and by some garden products. It did not test the claims, but compared them to labeling guidelines set by the International Standards Organization (ISO) in September, 1999.Researchers documented claims of environmental friendliness made by about 2,000 products and found many too vague or too misleading to meet ISO standards.―Many products had specially-designed labels to make them seem environmentally friendly, but in fact many of these symbols mean nothing,‖ said report researcher Philip Page.―Laundry detergents made the most number of claims with 158. Household cleaners were second with 145 separate claims, while paints were third on our list with 73. The high numbers show how very confusing it must be for consumers to sort the true from the misleading.‖ he said. The ISO labeling standards ban vague or misleading claims on product packaging, because terms such as ―environmentally friendly‖and ―non-polluting‖cannot be verified. ―What we are now pushing for is to have multinational corporations meet the standards set by the ISO.‖ said Page.70. As indicated in this passage, with so many good claims, the consumers _____________.A. are becoming more cautious about the products they are going to buyB. are still not willing to pay more for products with green labelingC. are becoming more aware of the effects different products have on the environmentD. still do not know the exact impact of different products on the environment71. A study was carried out by Britain’s NCC to ________________.A. find out how many claims made by products fail to meet environmental standardsB. inform the consumers of the environmental impact of the products they buyC. examine claims made by products against ISO standardsD. revise the guidelines set by the International Standards Organization72. What is one of the consequences caused by the many claims of household products?A. They are likely to lead to serious environmental problems.B. Consumers find it difficult to tell the true from the false.C. They could arouse widespread anger among consumer.D. Consumers will be tempted to buy products they don’t need.73. It can be inferred from the passage that the lobby group Consumer International wants to _____________.A. make product labeling satisfy ISO requirementsB. see all household products meet environmental standardsC. warn consumers of the danger of so-called green productsD. verify the efforts of non-polluting products(C)Business has slowed, layoffs mount, but executive pay continues to roar --- at least so far. Business Week's annual survey finds that chief executive officers (CEOs) at 365 of the largest US companies got compensation last year averaging $3.1 million --- up l.3 percent from 2008.Why are the top bosses getting an estimated 485 times the pay of a typical factory worker? That is up from 475 times in 2013 and a mere 42 times in 1994. One reason may be what experts call the "Lake Wobegon effect". Corporate boards tend to suppose that "all CEOs are above average" --- aplay on Garrison Keillor's famous line in his public radio show, A Prairie Home Companion, that all the town's children are "above average". Consultants provide boards with surveys of corporate CEO compensation. Since directors are reluctant to regard their CEOs as below average, the compensation committees of boards tend to set pay at an above-average level. The result is that pay levels get up little by little.Defenders of generous CEO pay argue there is such a strong demand for experienced CEOs that the free market forces their pay up. They further maintain most boards structure pay packages to reflect an executive's performance. They get paid more if their companies and their stock do well. So companies with high-paid CEOs generate great wealth for their shareholders. But the supposed cream-of-the-crop executives did surprisingly poorly for their shareholders in 2013, says Scott Klinger, author of this report by a Bostonbased Organization United for a Fair Economy. If an investor had put $10,000 per person at the end of 2013 into the stock of those companies with the 10 highest-paid CEOs, by year-end 2014 the investment would have shrunk to $8,132. If $10,000 had been put into the Standard &amp Poor's 500 stocks, it would have been worth $9,090. To Mr. Klinger, these findings suggest that the theory that one person, the CEO, is responsible for creating most of a corporation's value is dead wrong. "It takes many employees to make a corporation profitable."With profits down, corporate boards may make more effort to tame executive compensation. And executives are making greater efforts to avoid pay cut. Since CEOs, seeing their options "under water" or worthless because of falling stock prices, are seeking more pay in cash or in restricted stock.74. Which of the following statements is true about Garrison Keillor?A. His idea on the CEOs was recognized by corporate boards.B. One of his lines had been modified to describe the CEOs.C. His play pointed out that "all CEOs are above average".D. His radio program aroused the "lake Wobegon effect".75. According to the second paragraph, CEOs' pay keeps soaring mainly because ___________.A. surveys indicate that CEOs deserve higher payB. consultants tend to believe CEOs are above averageC. directors' belief greatly influences the pay standardD. compensation committees seldom evaluate the CEOs' ability76. Scott Klinger most probably tends to agree chat ____________.A. most people lose money in the investment into the stocksB. the CEOs performance can't be reflected by the value of stocksC. the CEOs are not the only factor that prospers a corporationD. the pay of the CEOs greatly influences the profit of a company77. "cream-of-the-crop" is closest in meaning to ____________.A. competentB. courageousC. disappointingD. hard-workingSection CDirections: Read the passage carefully. Then answer the questions or complete the statements in the fewest possible words.Mail carriers will be delivering some good news and some bad news this week. The bad news: Stamp prices are expected to rise 2 cents in May to 41 cents, the Postal Regulatory Commission announced yesterday. The good news: With the introduction of a ―forever stamp,‖ it may be the last time Americans have to use annoying 2-or-3-cent stamps to make up postage differences.Beginning in May, people would be able to purchase the stamps in booklets of 20 at the regular rate of a first-class stamp. As the name implies, ―forever stamps‖ will keep their first-class mailing value forever, even when the postage rate goes up.The new ―forever stamp‖ is the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) answer to the complaints about frequent rate increases. The May increases will be the fifth in a decade. Postal rates have risen because of inflation, competition from online bill paying, and the rising costs of employee benefits, including healthcare, says Mark Saunders, a spokesman for USPS.The USPS expects some financial gain from sales of the ―forever stamp‖ and the savings from not printing as many 2-or-3-cent stamps. ―It’s not your grandfather’s stamp,‖ says Mr. Saunders. “It could be your great-grandchildren’s stamp.”Other countries, including Canada, England, and Finland use similar stamps.Don Schilling, who has collected stamps for 50 years, says he’s interested in the public’s reaction. ―This is an entirely new class of stamps.‖Mr. Schilling says. He adds that he’ll buy the stamps because he will be able to use them for a long period of time, not because they could make him rich —the volume printed will be too large for collectors. ―We won’t be able to send our kids to college on these,‖ he says, laughing. The USPS board of governors has yet to accept the Postal Regulatory Commission’s decision, but tends to follow its recommendations. No plans have been announced yet for the design of the stamps.(Note: Answer the question or complete the statements in NO MORE THAN TEN WORDS)78.
