We have also made a simple list about our research and I submit this proposal to get the teacher's approval.A Proposal to Study the Feasibility of Applying the Mobile DiningService PlatformRecently, a lot of mobile dining service platform appeared on the Internet and penetrated into our life, and it changed our lifestyle to some extent. However, we can not know that if it is feasible of using the mobile dining service platform for long term and what are the advantages and disadvantages of them, so we decided to do a research on it.Statement of the ProblemWidely use of mobile dining service platform require us to make a deep understanding of it, so we proposal to study the feasibility of applying the mobile ding service platform from the perspective of consumers and merchants.BackgroundOur research is based on the rapid development of the mobile dining service platform, like Taodiandian, and aimed to study its impact on the businesses surrounding universities and students' life.Theoretical frameworkPeople's opinions on the mobile dining service platform are different, some people think that it is not believable and infeasible, while others say that it bring a lot of convenience to their life, and we agree with the latter. So, we will focus on theadvantages of it.Definitions of key termsMobile Dining Service Platform. A mobile dining service platform is defined as a platform,which change the catering service into a commodity so that buyers and sellers can deal directly.AudiencesConsumers: Consumers are the beneficiary, and for the mobile dining service platform, the consumers are mainly university students. Through our research, consumers can know what is the mobile dining service platform and what can they benefit from it.Merchants: Merchants can get feedback from our research and make more profits. Purpose of the StudyThe objective of this study is to study the feasibility of using the mobile dining service platform for long term and what are the advantages and disadvantages of them, and its impact on the businesses surrounding universities.Scope of the StudyTo study the feasibility of applying the mobile dining service platform, the following questions must be answered:1.What is the mobile dining service platform?2.Why choose the mobile dining service platform?3.How it influence your life?4.What is the advantages and disadvantages of the mobile dining service platform? ObjectivesDelimitationsThe research will be delimitated in the following ways:1. Study of influence businesses surrounding universities in Hangzhou.2. Study of influence on students' life in Hangzhou.3. Analysis of merchants and consumers' attitude and suggestions in Hangzhou.LimitationsThe attitude and suggestions of merchants and consumers in Hangzhou may not adequately reflect the whole society. However, merchants and consumers are the main users, so it have certain representativeness.Data CollectionData will be gathered from questionnaires, and two different questionnaires will be distributed to consumers and merchants. Secondary data will be collected from the Internet and be used to evaluate the applications. A sample of consumers will be surveyed to assess consumer attitudes toward the mobile dining service platform.Data AnalysisLogical analysis of participating merchants and customers will provide the basis for determining whether these platforms are functional. Benefit analysis will be used to determine whether the platform is financially feasible. Conclusions will be based on those qualitative and quantitative factors.Work ScheduleSince we have other courses while working on this project, I will need approximately three months to complete the study. My group members will use approximately 80 hours to prepare questionnaires, analyze the data, edit the final report and make the presentation. We only need to use money to print questionnaire and the total projected budget is ¥20.Presentation of resultsWe will present our finding, conclusions, and recommendations to you in a form written report along with an oral summary.。
