一、说教材分析：本单元为八年级下册Module7 Unit1，讨论的是参加国外夏令营的话题，课文主要介绍Lingling为去洛杉矶参加夏令营做准备，Betty给Lingling提建议。
课文将通过听力、对话和阅读文章使学生了解国外夏令营和学会谈论计划和将来的活动，并学会使用and, but, or连接的并列复合句。
课文通过较真实的语境，指导学生在感性认识的基础上进行总结，为语言输出做好铺垫，同时可以向学生渗透做事有计划、生活有条理的情感教育。
二、学情分析：我所教授的班级英语基础相对还算可以，但是基础差距还是比较大，积极性也是存在很大差异，所以在上课的时候就要照顾到各个不同层次的学生，在设计话题和练习时要适度降低难度。
就本模块国外夏令营这个话题而言，学生会很感兴趣，虽然离他们很远但是他们内心会有一种向往。
教师可以预设一些学生感兴趣的话题来调动学生参与活动的积极性，使得学生有话可说。
三、说教法学法：说教法：为了充分以学生为主体的课堂教学，并考虑到学生认知特点和年龄特征，对本课我主要采取了如下几种教法：：1．交际型教学法。
对话属于交际，所以通过话题设置来进行交际练习，先是师生交际，然后是学生交际。
2．情景教学法。
师生完全可以根据当时的实际思路创造性地交流，这种教法是实现语言知识向语言能力转变的必经之路。
说学法：我所采用的教法有助于学生掌握如下学法：1．合作学习法。
合作学习法在对话练习中可以体现出来。
2．自主学习法。
在听力练习和对话听力部分培养学生自主学习的能力。
