Unit 1
1. Can I have something to drink? 我能喝些什么吗？
(1)动词不定式作定语需后置，如：the train to arrive, the person to trust；
(2)作定语修饰复合不定代词的形容词需后置；如：something important, something special;
(3)something, anything, nothing, everything 等复合不定代词作做主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
When something worries me, I can always go to her.
(4)Something 常用于肯定句或表示请求、邀请或期盼得到肯定答复的疑问句中，如：
Can I have some juice, Mum?
2. What about some milk? 一些牛奶怎么样？
What about +n/doing=how about + n/doing 意为“……怎么样？……好不好？” ，这个句型可用来提出建议或引出新的话题。
3. Maybe we can share it. 也许我们可以一起分享。
maybe VS may be
maybe: 副词，意思是“也许、可能”，在句中作状语，相当于 perhaps，常位于句首。
may be: 在 may be 中，may 是情态动词，be 是动词原形，两者构成完整的谓语形式，与主语形成系表结构，意为“也许是、可能是”。
maybe 和 may be 可相互转换，如：

4. honest adj. 诚实的；反义词：dishonest
注意：honest 虽以辅音字母h 开头，但却是以元音音素发音开头的单词，因此前面的不定代词要用an，如：an honest boy 一个诚实的男孩。

5. keep a secret = keep secrets 保守秘密
keep常用结构：keep + (on) doing sth. 意为“继续，重复做某事”
Don’t keep on making the same mistake.
6. polite形容词，意为“有礼貌的”，反义词为加上前缀im-的impolite。
在句中既可担任定语又可担任表语，副词为politely。
be polite to意为“对…..有礼貌”，如：
Parents should teach their children to be polite to others.

(1) make的常见用法
①make 作系动词时，后面常接名词短语或形容词

(1)willing, 形容词，意为“乐意的；自愿的”，反义词unwilling，副词willingly。
常用结构be willing to do sth. = be ready to do sth.意为“愿意做某事”。
