How to overcome your procrastination?
By Jane
Hello, everyone. I come here with my heavy black circles. Do you notice them? Well,to be honest,I keep staying up these days because a series of deadlines of work are around the corner. Are you faced with the same problem? But I’m not expected to talk about how to take off my black circles, because I think the only valid solution is to sleep early! So what causes such a dilemma that you tend not to start your work until its deadline comes? Anyone guesses?
Well,it’s PROCRASTINATION that leads to it. So here my topic is how to fight against our procrastination. Well, some of you may have found out some ways, but probably they’re bits and pieces. So let me sum up here.there are 5 ways in total in my opinion----
1.Divide your plan into specific tasks and make a list
There must be something emergent and urgent as well as something important. A successful man usually spends time on the most important one rather than the most urgent one first. We can classify all the work into four parts by order of importance, that is, important and urgent
\important but non-urgent\urgent but unimportant\non-urgent and unimportant, four parts to done in turn.
In addition, specific tasks mean detailing your tasks . For example, it will come to abortion if you set the goal “I wanna lose weight, keep a good figure”,it’s too abstract, doesn’t it? But it can be better carried out when you plan”I wanna go running at 7 every Wednesday morning”,detail time, detail event in this way. Then when one single task on your list is done, tick it out and you will feel a sense of achievement, which will motivate you to go ahead.
2.Never give yourself adequate time to finish your tasks
A psychological expert found out that graduate students who spend only 2 years finishing their essays can always have some time to relax themselves while those who cost 3 years or more spend almost every minute on their essays. So it turns out that the more time you plan to spend on one task, the lower your working efficiency is at times. Therefore the next time you start a big task that needs a certain period of time, you’d better limit the time which needs some efforts to reach;when you do a small daily task, also limit time by setting an alarm clock. It’s very useful because that brings you proper pressure and motivation as well. It should be noted that never give yourself too much pressure by setting time that is really hard to realize. You know you cannot beautify the pressure.
3.Cut off the interference
You know it. The biggest interference for us must be our phones! Log out all kinds of your social accounts, take off your earphones, and so forth, everything that affects your working efficiency. And it’s a better way to power off your phone or just put it far away from you. Once the phone is out of your sight, you can easily absorb yourself in your work. 4.Find partners for mutual supervision
If you cannot bear the tough time alone, you can find partners to supervise each other. But working with a weak-willed partner might get the opposite of what you want. So choose the right partner!
5.Your Attitude and energy
Is the most crucial factors to achieve everything. So take it serious when doing anything and be responsible for yourself. Keep a scientific work-rest schedule, and you will have a good mood and enough energies to defeat your procrastination!
I hope my advise can help you in some way. That’s all about it,thanks!。

How to Overcome Procrastination
How to Overcome ProcrastinationProcrastination is a common problem that affects many people. It is the act of delaying or postponing tasks that need to be done, and it can lead to stress, anxiety, and even failure. However, there are ways to overcome procrastination and become more productive. In this essay, I will discuss some strategies that can help individuals overcome procrastination. One of the most effective ways to overcome procrastination is to set goals and create a plan. When we have a clear idea of what we want to achieve and how we are going to achieve it, we are more likely to take action. It is important to break down larger goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. By doing this, we can avoid feeling overwhelmed and can focus on one task at a time. Creating a schedule or to-do list can also be helpful in keeping us on track and ensuring that we are making progress towards our goals.Another strategy for overcoming procrastination is to eliminate distractions. In today's world, there are many distractions that can keep us from being productive. Social media, email, and other notifications can be major distractions that can easily derail our focus. It is important to identify these distractions and find ways to eliminate them. This may mean turning off notifications, putting your phone on silent, or working in a quiet environment.Procrastination can also be caused by fear of failure or perfectionism. Many people put off tasks because they are afraid of not doing them perfectly or because they are afraid of failing. It is important to recognize these fears and to address them. One way to do this is to reframe our thinking. Instead of focusing on the negative outcomes of failure, we can focus on the positive outcomes of taking action. We can also remind ourselves that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process and that perfection is not attainable.Accountability is another important factor in overcoming procrastination. When we are accountable to someone else, we are more likely to follow through on our commitments. This can be done by sharing our goals with a friend or colleague, joining a support group, or hiring a coach or mentor. Having someone to hold us accountable can provide motivation and encouragement, and can help us stay on track. Finally, it is important to take care of ourselves in order to overcome procrastination. When we are tired, stressed, or overwhelmed, it can be difficult to focus and be productive. Getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, and exercising regularly can all help to improve our energy levels and reduce stress. Taking breaks throughout the day can also be helpful in preventing burnout and maintaining focus. In conclusion, procrastination is a common problem that can be overcome. By setting goals and creating a plan, eliminating distractions, addressing fears and perfectionism, being accountable, and taking care of ourselves, we can become more productive and achieve our goals. It takes effort and commitment to overcome procrastination, but the rewards are worth it. With practice, we can develop the habits and mindset needed to be more productive and successful.。
如何解决拖延症英语作文200词
如何解决拖延症英语作文200词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Stop Being a Procrastination PotatoHey kids! Have you ever had a big homework assignment or chore that you just kept putting off and putting off until the very last minute? Yeah, me too! That's called procrastination and it can really mess things up. Procrastination is when you delay or postpone doing something that needs to get done. Instead of working on your homework right after school, you play video games or watch TV and then scramble to finish it at night right before bedtime. Not fun!Procrastination can lead to a lot of stress and rushing. The work you do at the last minute is usually not your best work either. You end up feeling bad about it and might even get into trouble with your parents or teacher for not doing it on time. Plus, how are you supposed to enjoy your free time when you're worried about that assignment hanging over your head? No thank you!I used to be a really bad procrastinator. I'd wait until Sunday night to do all my homework and projects for the week. My mom would get so mad at me! Then one day, I came across this quote that changed everything: "You can't make up for lost time. You can only do better moving forward." That really struck a chord with me. All the video games and Tik Tok videos in the world couldn't get back the time I wasted procrastinating. I realized I needed to make a change and stop being a procrastination potato! So I came up with a plan to kick procrastination's booty. Ready for it? Here are my top tips for overcoming procrastination:Make a schedule and stick to it!Nothing fancy, just grab a notebook and pencil and plan out your day/week. Schedule time for homework, chores, activities, AND fun/free time. Seeing it all written out helps you realize how much time you actually have to get stuff done without sacrificing play. Don't forget to...Prioritize and tackle the hardest tasks first.Do you ever notice how you dread starting that really hard math homework or essay, so you keep putting it off? Don't fallinto that trap! Get the hardest, most challenging things out of the way first while your brain is fresh. The rest will be a breeze!Set a timer and work in short bursts.Sometimes starting a big task is the hardest part. So set a timer for 25 minutes and just work solidly for that short period with no distractions. Once that timer goes off, give yourself a5-10 minute break to recharge before doing another 25 minute work burst. You'll power through it before you know it!Minimize distractions and temptations.Put your video games/phone/tablet away from your work area so you aren't tempted to pick them up. Find a quiet, clutter-free spot to set up your study zone. Making your environment distraction-free makes focusing so much easier!Reward yourself when you accomplish tasks.Celebrate small wins! Every time you finish a homework assignment or chore on time, do something you enjoy as a treat - read a chapter of a fun book, have a healthy snack, play outside for 30 minutes. Positive reinforcement works wonders for motivation.Ask for help if you're struggling. If you're feeling totally overwhelmed or aren't understanding the material, don't be afraid to ask a parent, teacher, tutor or friend for assistance. There's no shame in needing a little extra guidance - we all do sometimes! The key is not letting it keep piling up.Think about how AWESOME it feels to be done!Seriously, that feeling of relief and accomplishment when you turn in a big assignment or project you've been working hard on? PRICELESS! Keep that feeling in mind and use it as motivation to power through the tasks instead of dawdling. So there you have it - my full battle plan for defeating procrastination once and for all! Will you join me篇2How to Stop Being a Procrastination PotatoProcrastination is something that happens to lots of kids (and grown-ups too!). I'd wait until the night before a huge project was due to even start on it. Then I'd be up until the wee hours scrambling to finish. Talk aboutstressful! Give yourself deadlines for completing each step, spreading the work over several days or weeks. Having a plan makes it wayyyy less overwhelming.Remove Tempting DistractionsDuring homework time, silence your phone, close fun apps and websites, and find a quiet spot away from TV, video games, and other distractions. You may find yourself continuing a lot longer once you've begun.Don't Be So Hard on YourselfFeeling guilty, stressed, and disappointed about procrastinating can make you procrastinate even more. Developing better habits now willmake you much happier and more successful in the long run. You've got this!篇5How to Stop Being a Lazy ProcrastinatorHey kids! Do you ever put things off until the very last minute? You know, like waiting until the night before to do that big homework assignment? Or taking forever to clean your room because you keep getting distracted? Well, that's called procrastination and it's something a lot of us struggle with sometimes. Procrastinating can make you feel stressed out and rushed. It can even lead to getting poor grades if you don't give yourself enough time to do your best work. No one wants that! The good news is that there are lots of tips and tricks for overcoming procrastination. I'm going to share some of my favorites with you so you can kick that procrastination habit for good! Getting control over putting things off will help you feel accomplished, responsible, and proud of yourself. Who doesn't want that? Let's get started!Tip #1: Make a PlanOne of the best ways to avoid procrastinating is to make a clear plan for when you'll do your tasks or assignments. Let's say you have a big science project due in two weeks. You could plan to spend an hour on it every day after school. Break it into smaller steps too. Maybe research one day, write the next, and work on the presentation another day. Having a schedule makes it way less overwhelming.Tip #2: Set RemindersOur parents are always reminding us about stuff, right? Well, you can remind yourself too! Set alarms on your phones, computers or tablets for when it's time to start working on things. You can also leave yourself sticky note reminders in places you'll see them. Getting constant reminders makes it harder to make excuses and put it off.Tip #3: Eliminate DistractionsDistractions are a procrastinator's worst enemy! When it's time to focus, put away or turn off anything that could sidetrack you. That means no TV, video games, social media, etc. If you have a hard time resisting those things, try downloading a website blocker or asking your parents to hold onto your devices temporarily while you work. Having no distractions makes it easier to power through and get 'er done!Tip #4: Take BreaksThis one might sound like the opposite of what you should do to stop procrastinating, but hear me out. Our brains can only focus for so long before they get fatigued and distracted. Taking short, scheduled breaks gives your mind a rest so you canre-focus when the break is over. Maybe do 45 minutes of work, then a 10 minute break to have a snack or play a quick game. The key is setting a timer and not letting your "break" turn into falling down a YouTube rabbit hole for hours!Tip #5: Get a BuddyEverything is more fun with a friend, right? Find a fellow procrastinator and make a pact to stop putting things off together. You can remind each other when it's work time, help keep one another on track, and even turn getting stuff done into a game or competition to make it more entertaining. You'll get twice the moral support and accountability!Tip #6: Reward YourselfThis tip is easy to remember because rewards are awesome! Before you start a task or assignment, decide on a small treat you'll give yourself after completing it. Maybe it's having an extra hour of gaming time, going to get your favorite ice cream, oreven just taking a nice long relaxing break. But no rewards until the work is done! Having something to look forward to provides extra motivation.Tip #7: Just Get StartedA lot of times, the hardest part of overcoming procrastination is simply starting the task you've been avoiding. After that initial push, you'll probably find that it wasn't as bad as you thought. The key is to stop overthinking and stressing about it, and just launch yourself in. Once you get going, it's easier to stay on a roll and power through to the end. You've got this! Those are some of my best tips for kicking procrastination to the curb! I know it can be really tough sometimes, but avoiding doing your work and responsibilities never pays off in the end. You'll just wind up feeling anxious and rushed at the last minute. And that's no fun at all!I challenge you to pick one or two of these tips and give them an honest try the next time you feel that urge to procrastinate creeping up. You may be surprised at how much more in control and accomplished you'll feel. Getting things done gives you a great sense of pride. Plus, you'll free up more time to go play and have fun when you're not stressing about what you've been putting off. What could be better than that?Let's all try to procrastinate a little less from now on. We've got this!篇6How to Stop Being a Lazy ProcrastinatorProcrastination is something that almost every kid struggles with at some point. You've got a big homework assignment due, but instead of working on it, you keep putting it off and putting it off. Before you know it, the deadline is tomorrow and you're scrambling to get it done at the last minute. Yikes! If this sounds familiar, don't worry - you're not alone. Procrastinating is really common, but that doesn't mean it's a good habit to have. Putting things off usually just leads to feeling stressed and overwhelmed when you have to rush to get things done. Not fun!The good news is, there are ways to kick that procrastination habit for good. I'm going to share some tips that have really helped me stop being such a terrible procrastinator. With a little practice, you can become a procrastination-free zone!Tip #1: Make a PlanOne of the biggest reasons kids procrastinate is because they feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start on a big assignment or task. That's why making a plan is so important! Sit down and break the big thing into smaller, easier steps. Having a roadmap helps make it feel much more manageable. For example, if you have to write a huge research paper, you could break it down into steps like: 1) Pick a topic, 2) Find 5 sources, 3) Make an outline, 4) Write an introduction, 5) Write the body paragraphs, and so on. Suddenly it doesn't seem so scary and impossible, right?Tip #2: Set DeadlinesWhile breaking big tasks into steps is helpful, it's easy to keep putting off those steps indefinitely if you don't have deadlines. That's why I'm a big believer in setting your own due dates for each mini-step of a project.Let's go back to that research paper example. Maybe you'll give yourself 2 days to pick a topic, 3 days to find sources, 1 day to make an outline, and so on. Write out all your deadlines on a calendar. Having those self-imposed due dates will help motivate you to keep making progress.Tip #3: Eliminate DistractionsI can't even count the number of times I've sat down to do homework only to quickly get distracted by my phone, video games, YouTube, or something else entirely. Those endless distractions make it way too easy to procrastinate. If you're really struggling to focus, it can help to completely eliminate distractions for a set period of time. Put your phone in another room, close any irrelevant apps and windows on your computer, and find a quiet spot to work. No distractions allowed for the next hour! You may be surprised by how much you can accomplish.Tip #4: Reward YourselfLet's be honest - homework and chores aren't exactly fun activities. And that's part of why they're so easy to procrastinate on. One way to help motivate yourself is to build rewards into your plan. For example, you could say "Once I finish writing the introduction paragraph for my essay, I'll allow myself to play games for 30 minutes." Or "If I do all my math homework tonight, I can watch an extra hour of TV tomorrow." Knowing you'll get to do something enjoyable once you finish your work can provide a little extra motivation to cross things off your to-do list.Tip #5: Ask for HelpSometimes we procrastinate because we get stuck and don't know how to move forward. If you're feeling confused about an assignment or responsibilities around the house, don't be afraid to ask a parent, teacher, or friend for help! Getting unstuck and knowing what to do next makes it much easier to stop procrastinating. There's no magic wand to instantly cure procrastination. It's something many of us will probably struggle with from time to time, even as adults. The key is having。

Paul’s Tips
