教材分析
本课主要是来学习我们喜欢做什么，主要句型是：What do you like to do ? I like to____. 所涉及的是学生熟悉的一些活动，如放风筝，打乒乓球，玩玩具，玩电脑游戏等等，重点熟练替换动词或动词短语。
教学设想
本课介绍了一些学生喜爱的活动，如放风筝，打乒乓球，玩玩具，玩电脑游戏等等，以此作为切入点，由词到句，以旧引新，步步深入，在活动中学习，在学习中激趣，在激趣中扩展，充分发挥学生的主体性。
再通过生动活泼的教学活动吸引学生的注意力，师生之间进行简单的示范练习，把学过的短语知识整合在一起。
一、教学目标
1.知识目标：
能正确理解并运用句型What do you like to do? I like to .
2.能力目标：
能积极运用所学的英语进行自主表达和交流。
锻炼运用英语的能力。
3.情感目标：
1.能积极与他人合作，集中注意力，共同完成学习的任务。
2.培养学生整体感知语言规律，灵活运用语言，举一反三的能力。
3.培养学生学习英语的热情，激发学生开口说英语的热情。
二、教学重点、难点
1.教学重点：
能听懂、会说、并熟练运用What do you like to do?及做出相应的回答I like to .
2.教学难点：
句子I like to .中的动词替换。

设计意图：活跃课堂气氛，融洽了师生关系，巩固旧知，引出新课。
(二)、New Concepts
1.句型：What do you like to do? I like to ___ ___. ①Can you read these phrases ?
看图片，说短语。
设计意图：利用这个活动来复习以前学过的这些动词短语，并使学生了解它们的含义，为下边的句型学习作好准备。
②与卡通人物对话。
s:今天老师给你们带来了一群可爱的朋友，一会儿见面时帮老师用英语询问他们喜欢做的事情。

教师出示幻灯片，学生询问：What do you like to do? 幻灯片播放声音回答，学生认真听，读出里面卡通人物说的句子并翻译。
设计意图：动画片中的卡通人物是孩子们喜闻乐见的。
孩子们在此刻心情放松但精神却是最集中的，在娱乐的同时锻炼了孩子们的听力，也锻炼了孩子的语言交际能力。

学生填写问题卡片，并利用课件订正答案。

一、教材分析《What Do You Like to Do?》是冀教版四年级英语下册第三单元第17课的内容。

本课的主要句型What do you like to do? 以及与之相对的回答。
本课是对三年级中的一个句型What do you like ? 的延续。
从深度上讲，三年级的句型只要求会说、会认、会听；而四年级则要求会认、会写，能准确地运用并掌握其答语。
本课是一个询问人物基本情况、内容比较广泛的对话，这也和后面将学的许多特殊疑问句有密切的联系，为今后英语继续学习打下扎实的基础。
二、学情分析四年级的孩子通过一年多英语的学习，已经具备了基本的英语听、说、读、写能力，学生们对英语的兴趣浓厚，尤其喜欢歌曲、游戏、角色表演，乐于参与到教学活动中来。
三、目标设定根据教材的结构和内容分析，结合四年级学生们的知识结构与心理特征，我制定了以下的教学目标：1、知识与技能目标：使学生掌握询问喜好的句型：What do you like to do?I like to do___________.What does she / he like to do ?She/He likes to do__________.2、能力目标：培养学生的听、说和灵活运用语言的能力。
3、情感目标：指导学生了解自己和他人的喜好，懂得关心和爱护自己的家人和朋友。
3、说重、难点：本着英语新课程标准，在吃透教材基础上，我确定了以下教学重点和难点。
重点：掌握本课句型及答语。
难点：能流利的用英语表达自己的年龄并能进行情景交际，使学生能够达到本课题设定的教学。

结合新课程标准提出的基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标和具体要求，在分析教材的基础上，我针对学生的实际情况，将本课的教学目标确定如下：1.知识与技能目标：（1）、学生能听懂、会说、会读句型：How old are you? I’m____ years old.（2）、能听懂并能说句型: When is your birthday? My birthday is ____.2. 能力目标：（1）、通过本课学习，理解有关年龄问题的表达，并能实际运用。
（2）、培养学生逻辑思维能力，在理解的基础上提高表达能力。
3. 情感态度与价值观：（1）、通过小组合作共同完成学习任务，培养合作意识，发展合作能力。
（2）、通过多种形式的学习活动，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
根据本节课的教学内容和学生对知识的理解程度，结合以上教学目标的要求，我确定本课的重点是掌握句型：How old are you? 你多大了？When is your birthday? 你什么时候过生日？难点为学会在实际生活中灵活运用所学句型。
二、其次是教学设计的理念与思路：1、教法设计根据英语这门课本身的特点及四年级学生的兴趣，我通过设计具体形象的情景，以旧带新，不断滚动知识点，以此来分散教学难点，让学生直观地感知与理解。
