If you want to travel there,which way will you choose?.在学生们各抒己见之后,老师归纳:Most of us would like to go there by train. Ok ,let’s go.呈现北京火车站的图片后,说:Now we’ve got to Beijing Railway Station. We want to visit a place of interest. What will it be? .先让学生讨论然后呈现故宫的图片,问学生:What is it? 后继续:This is the first place we want to visit. It’s a modern town. Today we’ll learn a text about it. Now please turn your book at page26 to see how many parts there are in the text.用这些句子过渡到课文的学习.课文学习分三步:skimming,scanning和feedback.1.第一步:要求学生skimming,对课文进行整体阅读,了解篇章主旨、段落主旨和文章结构.具体做法:(1)迅速浏览文章框架,判断文章有几部分组成,学习英语阅读策略中的篇章结构策略.Please go through the text to see how many parts there are and what they are.学生浏览文章后,老师把他们的反馈列于黑板或屏幕上.(2)然后老师问:What are the five parts mainly about? 学习文章主旨归纳策略.点出:They are about life in Sunshine Town.在此基础上要求学生尝试给文章换标题.文章的大标题可更换成life in Sunshine Town.这样做的原因是文章的标题是一篇文章的灵魂,看文章标题可起到“窥一斑而知全豹”的作用,只有真正理解了全文,学生才能正确替换标题.这既是一种阅读策略又是一种写作策略.(3)分析各个小标题,尝试用一个单词归纳,这是段落主旨策略,能帮助学生更好的理解全文,了解文章的结构和行文特点.2.第二步,scanning即:通过阅读了解细节,体现细节查寻策略.这种策略讲究迅速找到相关内容,而忽略对不相干内容的理解.因此,培养学生scanning 的能力,必须是任务型的,即带着任务去搜索.因此,进行scanning前,老师应先呈现需完成的任务,即让学生带着问题去阅读材料或听材料.由于教学中的阅读仍需为提高学生的听、说、读、写能力服务,因此,在问题的设置上老师还要有所思考,要能反映文章的特点.阅读教学中一般都是先skimming后scanning,因为先整体阅读能起到高瞻远瞩的作用,方向性很明确,对文章的理解不会发生很大的偏差,而如果先从细节理解的话,有时文章里前面所讲的内容与文章最终所表达的整体含义会有落差,容易造成理解上的失误.下面谈一谈各段问题的设置:第一段:听第一段文章录音,回答下列问题:(是听还是让学生自己阅读,根据自己学生的实际能力.)1.How far is Sunshine Town from the centre of Beijing? 交代地理位置2.Is it good for your health to live in the town? Why? 自然环境(environment:空气和公园) 3.What do you think of the park nearby?第二段1.How many floors do most of tall buildings have?2.Why do you like to live in such tall buildings? (内部人文环境)第三、四段以连线和短文填词的形式出现,为了检测学生抓取信息的准确性,从学生处得到更多的反馈.第五段仍以问题形式出现1.What can you enjoy there?2.Where can you enjoy it?为了帮助学生更好地理解文章,我们一般把知识点的讲解放在scanning这个环节,讲解可穿插于各段的分析之中,也可在回答完问题后再集中进行.Step Four在scanning结束后,我们一般需要进行feedback的活动,以检查学生对文章整体的掌握情况.多数我们是先短文填词、摘录一些线索性的短语,然后再请学生复述课文. 我们也可以通过细化提纲的方式展开,由学生根据提纲用自己的语言复述课文,文章复述可从一段一段开始逐步延伸到全文复述.。
