It was first established over 2,200 years ago during the Qin Dynasty. Can you believe a city could be that old? Ancient ruins and relics have been found all around showing the city's ancient roots. My favorite is the Lushan National Park which has beautiful mountains, Buddhist temples, and was even an important retreat for emperors and poets throughout China's history. Walking through those misty peaks makes me feel like I've traveled back in time!But Fuzhou isn't just about the past - it's a vibrant, modern city too. We have tons of great shopping, restaurants, entertainment and more. One of the most famous things about Fuzhou is our delicious local cuisine. We're known across China for foods like pouchong tea, shaoxing rice wine, and smelly mandarins. I know the mandarins sound gross with a name like "smelly" but they actually taste amazing! My mouth waters just thinking about biting into one. There's also a lively nightlife scene with bars, clubs, and shows to enjoy in the evenings.Fuzhou people are friendly, hardworking, and really value education too.
