Hello! My name is Li Hua, the Beijing No. 4 Middle School students, I heard that the recruitment of volunteers in the Beijing Olympic Games, I am very pleased to become the one of you.

I am very good communicative competence and actively participate in the activities of schools, and achieved many accomplishments. I love sports, and actively participate in physical exercise is the main class basketball team. I like English, in all subjects, the best English performance, spoken English ability is quite good, and generally speaking to exchange.

I treat people dedication, love to help others. I grew up from childhood in Beijing, Beijing is very familiar with, I think this is my advantage. I very much hope that the Beijing Olympics will become a volunteer, I will do my best to provide the best services for the event. Thank you!

我和北京奥运

Olympic ad Me

我盼望着2008年8月8日快点到来。这是北京奥运会开幕的日子，是世界体育大家庭聚会北京的日子，更是每一个中国人倍感骄傲的日子。

I am looking forward to the days coming of Aug.8TH 2008, the day Beijing Olympic games will be opened, the day Sports family gather in beijing, and the day All the Chinese feel proud.

作为一个小主人，我真想成为一名光荣的奥运志愿者，可是到了那时，我还太小，不能成为一个真正的志愿者，但是，我依然可以为北京奥运会做出自己的贡献。

As a littke host , I really want to be honorable volunteer for it, however, I am still too young to be a real volunteer , but I can still contribute for it (according as I am able)

首先，作为一个北京市的小市民，我要用我的热情、我的笑容迎接每一个来自世界各地的外国朋友，展示出我们北京人友好好客的精神风貌，让外国朋友们通过每一张北京人的笑脸感受北京。

其次，我要更加努力的学习英语，在奥运会举办期间，能够用英语和外国朋友们说话、交流，为他们提供我力所能及的帮助，比如：做个小翻译、帮外国人指路等等，让外国朋友通过每一个北京人热情的帮助喜欢北京。

Then/second, I will study English harder.During the Olympic Games ,I can communicate with the foreigh friends in english and serve for them such as to be a interpreter and show them the way, let them love beijing more from our enthusiastic help

再次，我也要学习更多的有关北京、奥运的知识，将来可以为外国朋友介绍咱们美丽的北京，以及北京悠久的历史和灿烂的文化，要让他们通过和每一个北京人的交流更加了解北京，了解中国。

Third, I will learn more knowadge about Beijing and The Olympic Games in order to introduce the beautiful beijing to foreigners and its long history and splendor culture in the future.Let them Kow more about China by talking to each Beijinger

最后，我还要动员我身边的每一个同学，大家一起学习文明礼仪，一起加强和宣传环保意识，为北京奥运会办成一个真正的“绿色奥运、人文奥运、科技奥运”从我做起、从现在做起。

As you know, the 29th of summer will be held in Beijing of China in the year 2008.众所周知，2008年北京将举行第二十九届夏季奥运会。My classmates and I are so exciting and We want to learn more about Olympic .我和同学们都非常兴奋，并打算学多点关于奥运会的知识。Olympic Games will be some good infections bring to Beijing.奥运会给北京带来些好处。For example,it’s a great time for the world to know more about China. 例如，这是一个很好的机会让世界更了解中国。And a lot of citizens of Beijing may study English actively .很多北京人们会学习英语。They speak to foreign friends and community in English.用英语与外国朋友交流。

The government and people of China have always admired the purposes and principles of the Olympic spirit and supported the efforts made by the Olympics in promoting world peace. The Chinese government and people are doing our utmost in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. It is our hope to make it a grand gathering that will carry forward the Olympic spirit, promote world peace and enhance the friendship among people of the world, so that the Olympic spirit will flourish once again, this time in China, an oriental country with an ancient civilization.

Dear editor:

I’ve been reading the 21st Century Newspaper for a long time. As you know, the 29th Olympic Games of summer will be held in Beijing of China in the year 2008. My classmates and I had a discussion on what infection it will bring to Beijing. And here is our answer. There will be some good infections. A lot of citizens of Beijing may study English actively for instance. There will be an advance in tourism. The jobless may get new jobs. And it’s a great time for the world to know more about China. But there are also some bad infections. It’s a waste of our resources. It may also bring us traffic jam and contaminate our environment. I think we should put more money on protecting the environment and go to work by bus instead of by car. And also we should economize resources like water and gas. Thank you for reading my letter.

What can I do for Beijing 2008 Olympic

I will be sixteen years old when 2008 Olympic being held in Beijing.

I have many dreams about it, I want to be a translator to work for foreign

athletes. I want to be a guider to show Beijing to foreign visitors. I also want to be a athlete to win honor for China. I want to be…

But as a pupil, what can I do for it now? First, I should make Beijing’s environment to grow better, I can save water, electricity and paper, place garbage by classifying it, actively spread the knowledge of environmental protection. Second, I should enhance my ethic , safeguard the nation’s honor and take good care of public facilities. Third, I should work hard for my lessons, especially in English. Fourth, I should do exercises every day to improve my health.
