1)children（孩子们）的单数形式是child,是名词的不规则变化。
2）class（课），其复数形式是classes，因为以-s、-z、-sh、-ch结尾
2)some(一些)可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词。例如：some bread
（一些面包） some water（一些水） some crayons(几只蜡笔)
some children(几个孩子)
3) Have you got a pet?你有宠物吗？
此句子是一个一般疑问句。
What did you have got? 你有什么？是what引导的特殊疑问句。
注意：mop 也可以做动词，意思是“拖洗”，此时和clean是近义词
例如：I clean the floor every day.
4)behind (在……之后)是介词。已学过的表示地点的介词有：in（在…内）
Under（在…下）on(在…上)等等。
5)dig（挖）注意;dig的-ing形式要双写d再加-ing。类似的动词变化还有：

并运用句型Whose... is this/that/are these/those? It’s/They are...明晰物品的所有者。
本课时根据教材语言活动板块的内容进行了“盲人摸象”故事的再构。
二、学情分析：本课执教于四（2）班，班级中大多数学生有端正的学习态度，较好的英语基础和浓厚的英语学习兴趣。
希望通过本课时有趣的故事阅读，配合AiClass信息技术使学生掌握本课时主要教学目标，并能在具体语境中运用。
三、单元教学目标和学习策略知识与技能1.能掌握单元核心词汇hard,soft,rough,smooth,sharp,blunt,thick,thin的音、形、义。
2.能掌握名词所有格表述，如：Danny’s, Miss Fang’s等。
3.能以核心句型：Whose... is this/that/are these/those? It’s/They are...进行询问和回答，注意询问的物品数量的不同以及位置的远近。
4.能借助视频及文本听懂、看懂、模仿朗读The blind brothers and the elephant故事，语音语调准确，并能分角色表演故事。
5.能朗读Listen and enjoy的儿歌。
6. 能掌握字母组ur ir au oor的发音规律，并正确朗读含有该字母组的单词和儿歌。
